Quality Assurance and Regulatory Affairs - Which Is Better For Career Growth? 

Excellent advice about going through with the path you've chosen (stick with the lab job) and then decide to pivot later when the opportunity presents itself and you have also gotten a better understanding of which role you are interested in. This is what I did- started as a research scientist and pretty quickly found I wanted to leave the lab. I then applied to multiple roles on the clinical end of the company (this was a bit haphazard- I recommend doing thorough research) and finally landing in Quality Assurance.

Good advice. I personally invested years in a biotech lab, got some compliance and lean six sigma experience in the lab, got quality certifications and jumped into quality leadership roles. Enjoy the ride.

Is there a ceiling for a master degree holder in regulatory affairs? (I anticipate that in R&D, a MS won’t get you that far compared to a PhD). Thank you very much!

I interviewed for QA Coordinator in 2016 at your company and you were the hiring manager. Even though I didn't get that job, I had a very nice interview experience with you and the other lady. I knew I messed up some interview questions like where do you see yourself in 3-5 years ( I remembered I said MBA with random reasons) and spent quite a long time to understand the recipe of food metaphor.
