Many songs from the Tamil Films have been ignored periodically for reasons best known to no one. Especially, never or rarely attempted in any reality shows, stage shows or competitions.
When the nation is on a Quarantine, Subhasree Thanikachalam launches this new series.
This series will feature a set of rare songs that are rarely heard, rarely performed and she will also try and give some trivia for the songs.
The songs will all be performed by young singers who came out of her shows, which mainly focussed on old songs. The sessions are unplugged and performed with minimum instrumentation. No retakes. One stretch live performance..

The lady sings without any tension. But the male singer seems to be a little tense as he is to sing as originally as possible. But both have exceedingly done the best possible singing.

8 பாருக்கு (bar) க்கு பிறகுதான் மூச்சே எடுக்க முடியும். Breadth control இருக்கிறவங்க மட்டும் தான் இந்த பாடல பாட முடியும். I always like Shyam Benjamin who enjoys and plays the key board. Excellent.

எத்தனையோ பாடல்களை நாம் வேறு ஒரு பாடகர் பாடியிருந்தால் எப்படி இருக்கும் என்று நினைத்து பார்ப்பது உண்டு. But for this particular song, you cannot imagine any voice in place of PBS. This song will definitely find a place in the list of top ten tamil duets, though it is the most difficult exercise. Kudos to your entire team

Excellent effort 👌. While I love old Tamil film songs I am an ardent Carnatic music lover. Shubashree madam has explored tamil film songs with the story behind each rendition. What else can be said about compositions like these. It's indeed rare gem. And how can we even mention the names of such legends... Who have filled our lives with such lovely songs. As they do in foreign countries where they research about Indian music Indian culture etc., it's like a research paper for our generation, as they call 90s kids to get to know about making of each n every song chosen in QFR through suba mam introduction and commentary about each song. MS Vishwanthan being a Malayali would not have reached such stellar position in Malayalam Cinema. Tamil being a common ground language in South India has given him this immense opportunity to excel, as Tamil music is much loved by one and all in the South! Excellent rendition by Shyam and team. Subhashree's explanation is an added intoxication for all music lovers! Kudos for an amazing effort!

Wonderful delivery of great song by MSV TKR ! Your intro of every song is awesome. The opportunity you give to young talents is laudable.
