Thank you for the comment! It's awesome to see people haven't forgot about this project despite how long its gone untouched. If all goes well I'll be putting on the compounds this weekend. I was talking to a friend about these and I got to realizing how little I've got into them, it's looking like I'm going to have a 3-piece manifold, full 4" exhaust with magnaflow muffler, and these hx35/gt42 compounds for around $600.
Yes and no, I got a job working for a performance diesel company, s it’s been s but busy, and honestly working all day and then doing the same thing after work making videos wasn’t really that appealing. That said, a couple buddies and I started videoing the random foolery we do to our own truck and will start posting it.
Well it's currently doing about 550hp/1150tq with a gt42 as a single, probably keep it around there for a while. Compounds should do wonders for the drivability which I'm looking forward too.
@@alanack67 I've heard good things about that clutch, you should be pretty happy with it. I feel like going for a max power tune with these compounds would be asking for trouble, so I'm planning on limiting low end fueling so it doesn't crest 1000ftlb's until after 2000 RPM.
