📝 Detailed Breakdown:
On these polyester polos, we are setting up a left chest design on the Mighty Hoop Station using our 5.5” Mighty Hoops. First thing we need to do is identify what placement we need the fixture as well as our shirt collar. For this project, we are doing women’s polos in the size large so we are given the location of C-15. The alphabet letter indicates where the shirt collar goes and the number indicates the fixtures placement. We first need to place the fixture on the station so that the number shows through the hole. Once this is set, we can put in our mighty hoop as well as stabilizer which is held down with the magnetic tabs. After that, we can put the polo on. I like to pull the garment down completely before bringing the collar up to the indicated letter to keep the garment square with the hoop station. Once everything is set and square, place the top section of the Mighty Hoop on and press down gently until it grabs the bottom section to complete the hooping section. When done, carefully place the hoop onto the machine, while ensuring none of the garment gets caught in between the hoop and the bobbin arm. After the machine is complete with embroidering, you can remove the garment and hoop from the machine for cleanup. To clean up any excess threads on the back, I prefer to use a lighter to singe down the longer threads. If the garment is delicate or you are uncomfortable with doing so, I recommend using scissors. Alternatively, you can leave these threads but my preference is to clean them when I can to make the garment more wearable for the customer and prevent scratching. Once that is complete, you simply remove the excess stabilizer and the garment is complete!
