Quick RV flip up counter extension install

We recently went to the local RV show and saw that flip up counter extensions were featured in many of the rigs. I'd installed one of these counters in our RV kitchen years ago which my wife uses all time for cooking and preparing meals. When we got home I decided to update the folding shelf bracket system on our counter extension. Here's a quick video showing how I did it.

what type of support did you add behind the cabinet?

I just used a couple of 1x4's about a foot long. You can use just about anything. Our cabinet wall is just 1/8" plywood, so we really needed something. Hope that helps. Thanks for watching and commenting!
