I purchased a mower for £400 and 5 years on, its still going, very much worse for wear, but still cuts ok, doesnt matter of the cost it should do the job its designed for.
Personally I think the Weibang high lift blade makes an absolute tonne of difference. There not sold with them on as standard because as you eluded to, manufacturers have to meet certain noise and emissions levels. The machine makes more noise with a high lift. So that may be the reason? Regarding throwing your hand in and selling up. I think a lot of us feel like that at this time of year. Working between 5 and 7 days most weeks throughout the year takes its toll on you . Look on the bright side. Where coming up to our rest period and I know I'm REALLY looking forward to putting my feet up for a few months!
According to Colin it's an option for most mowers and most sujest adding it as it helps bag the grass which says to me it's not the best at all at bagging
He said in an email he's waiting for it to come back so he can look at it so hopfully he will see the puddle of oil from exhaust and have just a shite time with it as I did
I run two mowers, a expensive Honda, and a cheap alko , had issues with the Honda, the alko for the small gardens with brings and statten engine faultless go's on and on.i replaced it this year after about 7 years of work 6 days a week march to Christmas because the wheels were falling off due to the amount of miles it had done. I wish alko still did roller mowers.
Go on Colin put you money where your mouth is send the Gardner a mower if it's that good he will buy it and will prob come back on you tube and praise your mowers which will then give your company more sales Colin come on brother use your power be proactive give him a 2 week trial By the way good videos buddy all the best from Cornwall ( I'm not a Gardner). @@lincsfencingandgardeningse9128 I agree the thing is a lot of these company's are the same they give the talk but don't back it up if that was my business I would be sending you a mower that was in top working order then I would want you to praise it on you tube which would boost my business for free I would also want to impress my customers when they are giving reviews on you tube all the best buddy.
@@tiffysofcornwall you would think so but if they are sending a shit load out and most are happy they will pick one of those as there all ready happy so will praise it to much . In my mind I'd be more fussed about changing someone's mind and prove it but ha wr all don't think the same
Just bought a weibang SSD BBC 53 when it arrived it had no power whatsoever wouldn’t fill the bag with dry short grass and would conk out on anything slightly damp and long bare in mind these are fortnightly visits so nothing was crazy long After sending it back to a local dealer they had to adjust the cutting speed and upgrade the adjustment screw because the factory one was rubbish the mower sounded a bit more beefy but still wouldn’t collect how it should so had to order the high lift blade that took a month to arrive after fitted finally it stated to work as it should but I don’t have the greatest confidence in it The guy from weibang we were speaking to was also called Collin spinning the same stuff saying the standard blade should collect just fine and the high lift one only improves it slightly (a little more efficient) With out the high lift blade it’s pretty useless The kill switch on the side of the engine would stick in after turning the engine off this took me a while to figure out why it wouldn’t start and was rather embarrassing when at customers property’s
They should be giving you a demo if you requested one, especially after all the problems you had. Thats poor customer service. Ive had a few machines on demo, perfect way of knowing if the machine is for you before splashing out top dollar. Maybe ring a different weibang dealer and ask them
Dealers will promote brands that give them a good deal, weibang must be good to their dealer network, bottom line. An old proverb. A fishmonger won't tell you he sells stinking fish !
