I remember when Rónán and I were recording our album The Beautiful Road, we woke one morning to record a few Bodhran parts that Rónán had been sleeping on, and it started the day with us moving our hips, shimmying around the studio to the rhythm of what would become this song, 'Sí Liom'. This is the fourth in a series of videos from The Beautiful Road, and it is to accompany that infectiously rhythmical shimmer of a song. Festuring an un-broken, beautiful, evocative and powerful one-take dancing sequence from the inimitable Cavan born dancer Orla McCarthy. I hope by watching this, and turning your speakers up loud, you too can dance with Orla! I hope her movements and the sounds are the tonic you need, whenever you need!
