OMG that is a pet peeve of mine. ONCE you establish that you are throwing away money like that ... YOU CAN NO LONGER SAY THINGS LIKE "oh, I'm hurting for money right now." ETC. Saying "I'm hurting for money" or "I need help, I'm broke right now, can you help me out?" Is for people who are NOT able to spend $5k on xmas.
@@milespico7179 which is why the "I'll pay you back when I get my tax refund" dodge is the absolute best. These people never consider debts a priority over spending on themselves.
Seriously. "Having kids isn't cheap" fuck off. Kids will understand if you need to not spend a gross amount of money for Christmas. Yeah it's four kids and that builds up but just. Get all four of them a communal game console and a few games, that'll be less than $1000!
The one that was in South Africa... He offered a tip of 500 RANDS, not dollars. The South African rand is worth about 7 cents in American money. Yep. He offered them a $35 tip.
@@k0h69 they clearly don't know that every fucking place in the world uses currency, I am american but I know how Canadian dollars, and how Euros work and their currency. They're making us look dumb, since they believe the American Dollar is the only currency.
Whenever someone says“but my *insert friend or relative* can do it cheaper” after asking you, you instantly can dismiss them as a beggar. If your relative/friend is so good, why don’t you ask him before me?
@@vewayy No you sexist piece of shit, it's "as if it's our fault they didn't use a condom". Having sex is normal and healthy, but I guess you wouldn't know that because no one would do it with you
"I want to be able to warn others about you!" Warn them...that they expect to be paid for their work and won't tolerate verbally abusive choosing beggars?
/this "I'm a single mom, and I need a tattoo covered up." "Lady, you need a life coach first, as you're obviously incapable of making adult decisions."
Always been a bit of a pet peeve of mine since I've had friends who had single moms who worked super hard to make ends meet [one of em was a nurse who worked late shift at a hospital] CBs who use that excuse make the good moms look bad.
Watching "choosingbeggars" videos, we always see the same pattern: The victim playing dumb and always explaining themselves to the entitled jerk. Don't give explanations to jerks. You don't owe them that.
Hi. I'm sorry, I didn't think about what I said yesterday." *Translation* : "I realized, just now, that slagging off a family friend who babysat for us, who I was harassing for free crap, was a terrible idea as my wife will be pissed and we're down a babysitter."
More like: "I know I said some pretty rude things yesterday, but hopefully this apology will be enough to erase what I said so I can try to swindle you again today and if it still doesn't work then I'll resort to saying some equally rude things like yesterday."
You can. "I decided not to purchase this product/use this service/shop at this store because...". I've done that a few times for things like "restaurant smells like rotted meat", or "product was very clearly made of cheap materials". That guy, though... he's just being an ass and trying to get some form of petty revenge when he's clearly in the wrong. And OP proved it.
Seriously!!! Its gotten even worse these days too. Our culture has convinced all of these women that their victims of something. And it's like bonus points if you are a single mother. As if you deserve a prize for it. Pathetic.
There are three sentences that make me groan in pain by now "I'm a single mother" "My kid deserves it" and "You've got one, you don't need the old one"
The chirstmas village post: I love how at the very beginning he says this is how you run your business then says you are actually charging. Hahaha my dude is one serious twit.
@@crosshika2980 continues... CB: Person IS HARRASSING ME HELP!!!! THEY THREATENED TO KILL ME AND I DEMAND TO SEE THEM ARRESTED. Person: *shocked pikachu face*
Yeah, not that the choosing beggars are even remotely right, but every time someone says something like that, I immediately assume that they're almost certainly rude themselves.
(With the painting thing) A similar thing happened to me. I’m a beginner in painting and I charge like 5 or 6 dollars, not that much right? Well apparently not to my cousin. She came to me once and this is what happened (Cc choosing cousin) Cc: Hey, could you do a painting of my mom? I need a Christmas present for her but I can’t buy anything. Me: sure, if you can give me about 5 dollar- Cc: Why can’t you do it for free?? I’m your cousin after all Me: I’m sorry but I’m not waisting my time on something that I’ll get no payment for Cc: But whyyy Me: Because I have my own things to do Cc: FINE your paintings are sh*t anyway! And then I painted a picture of her mom and *I* gave it to her with *MY* signature. I also told her about Cc since my aunt had 0 tolerance for her children being brats. And I’m kind of petty.
OMG... I'm an independent artist so I've had so many of those messages. Usually on Facebook. The Laptop story reminded me of something. I have some Fantastic friends who hand down their electronic equipment whenever they upgrade. Really sweet people but they get some Serious choosing beggars. People getting upset and whining because they're not Actually getting given the latest tech, demanding they upgrade sooner, or literal begging. They Get Nothing. But my laptop died recently and I cannot afford to replace it. 3 of them offered me their old ones And tech support. Greatest People Ever. Unless you're a choosing beggar. ;)
Fortunately i did not came across something exactly like this before but i had a few annoying encounters. But those were harmless to my blood pressure...Unlike the person(more like thing) in the video.
I hope his wife saw this conversation and tore him a new one for trying to take advantage of HER friend. The artist is not his friend and he is all but a stranger to her. So why should she paint anything for him for free?
Dude I have the knockoff version of air pods and those things work so flipping wellll!!! It was like 25 dollars which was pretty good of a deal tbh, there was another pair for 45 dollars but I wanted to save a little money. Still luv the ones I have tho
Whenever I see a stupid begging post I always reply sarcastically now, I’m not “nice” or patient to these people anymore. Gotta speak a language they can understand
Normal human being: "Hello" CB: "Give me ur kidney!!!!!!!!!! " "Hello" "Hello" "Ur a bad person for not wanting to have life threatening surgery to give me ur kidney even tho we don't know each other" 😂🤣
@@familiarstranger2080 Had to go search op on reddit. Damn, and there´s a new post now where the wife claims that her husband wrote the texts that were from her to op.🤔🙄😂
The first situation: CB: *spends $5k on 4 kids for Christmas ($1.25k per child)* The average spent on my Christmas presents: *300-450 (I did get a $1k phone for Christmas last year so that was pretty epic :D)*
Person: give stuff away for free CB: "How much is it?" Person: "its free" CB: "WAIT YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY ME????? I SHOULD GET AT LEAST 100 MILLION DOLLARS BECAUSE IS NEEDED TO WALK ALL THE WAY TO HERE!!!!!!!!! YOU ARE SO GREEDY AND I NEED THAT MONEY!!!!!!!!!!"
I would have thretened to *BURN* the photos and when the the money arrives i will say, "well i'll think about giving them to you" What is wrong with people
In the first story if he has 4 kids and a wife and he is spending 5,000$ that means 1,000$ per person, what is he getting his kids that’s so expensive?!?
The first CB “your being punished by the universe I don’t want that bad energy near my kids” the universe (uno reverse) CB can you please baby sit PO “no”
I would have just said goodbye and blocked them right after that rude line. The main motivation for a real business is passion(i do it because i love to do it). If i do not feel comfortable working with you then the money does not worth it.
@@cosmicreef5858 I agree with your first sentence, however there are several issues with the last 2. There are many reasons why a "real" business operates, profits, passion, social change, etc. As to the last sentence, you're talking about employees. A business is run by employers. And the freedom to leave work or simply change is a luxury many can't afford. It's not that simple when you have a family to feed, rent to pay, bills piling up.
Saw that story about the South African photographer on a different video and I’ll say here what I said over there: R500 (currency is Rand) isn’t great for a luxury service like wedding photography. Especially if you’re planning on cheaping out on your bill. You can’t even get 4mb/s internet for a month with that money lol. It’s about $34 when converted. Those people were just being jerks.
I will never understand the logic of "Wow! That's expensive. I saw like 5 others for way cheaper" as a means to get something for a lower price... I know. I can hear you saying _"Choosing Beggars logic. Why even bother trying to figure it out?"_ And of course, you're absolutely right. But consider me someone who likes a challenge. In this case, it's also called "being an idiot". Lol It's just hard to believe these people exist and think that would actually work somehow!
This is one of the better posts. I really appreciate these because it not only shows me that I'm not the only one dealing with absurd people, but that it could always be worse.
I swear I would've been petty and kept messaging 'ok' to his every reply just to see how unhinged he can become for not getting a laptop for 100 bucks 😂
"You have to tell me where i can leave a review. You. Have. To. It. Is. The. Law." "Okayy"......gives out rSlash deets "You're review will be very welcome"
CB: You and your products are really good. Can I have them? *5 minutes later after being denied free stuff* CB: you will never succeed and your products are garbage. Like bruh...
I will never for the life of me understand this logic. "I can get it cheaper elsewhere", "Someone I know can do it cheaper and faster than you", "Someone I know can do it better than you" Then WHY THE HELL are you wasting your time, and mine?
