A person donates 1,000,000 meals to those in need during a crisis because people are hoarding food. Critic says they should have donated toilet paper. I can guarantee that the critic needs toilet paper because he/she is a food hoarder.
I think it was more of a joke, as situation in last couple weeks tend to prouve that people are obsessed and hoarding toilet paper like it's more important than everything else ...
@@reddittime9283 reddit reading is already a heavily oversaturated market that offers little reason to watch more than one channel since you will be reading the same threads. I'd suggest doing something else
Re: the babysitting post. It's also worth noting the kids are EXTREMELY young. It's generally assumed childcare for infants and toddlers costs more, because they're so much more work. Think about it: the 1 month old will need very frequent feeding, and formula is not cheap. The younger two obviously won't be potty trained, and the oldest may not be fully trained either. All three kids will need constant supervision and care. Caring for three children that young is very hard work, and even harder if you're not the parent or main caregiver. It's really disturbing that the mom expects someone to do it for slave wage.
I paused the video before R/slash continued and did probably shitty math in my head but my jaw dropped when I realized she was trying to get a babysitter for around 88/89 cents a hour per kid.
@@chocojoou That threw me too. They don't necessarily need to be breastfed (she probably uses formula or pumps) but that's super young to be left with someone else for long periods. Some daycares won't take them until 6 weeks, because A) newborns need such a high level of care, and B) it's really important for their development to be with mom at that age.
5:24 Did anyone else notice that gift card picture was taken AT a store... IN the gift card section? I don't think she was planning on putting any money on it.
Not mentioned with the vinyl one: the gift cards she shows is also a cropped photo from online. Probably obvious, but she definitely doesnt even have the gift cards
The second decal story actually has somewhat of a happy ending. The lady apologized and wanted to buy another decal at full price, and complimented the artist.
5:27 is nobody going to point out the fact she took a picture of a gift card at a store. There are other cards in the background. She didn't even bother turning around to make it look like she had already bought the card.
I thought that too I was like damn lazy lol she couldn't even bother to move a few inches from the cards. If it's from google that's even worse because you gotta be really lazy to not bother to find a pic of a card that looks like it was already bought lol.
3:53, what the hell is this lady referring to? Calling CPS when OP is just putting stuff, giving away for free, on their porch. I don't understand people.
Some people are simply crazy, and it's futile to find basic logic. Obviously, we are only getting one side of it, but I can't figure any reason why some Easter decorations would ever take such a dark turn.
Rich person: donates money, helps people, tries to do some good Choosing beggar: "NOT GOOD ENOUGH" Some people don't realize that no matter how rich someone is, their money is their money and giving away one dollar is stil better than not giving anything at all
True story about my dad So my dad was driving and passed a homeless man (he lives in Arizona so the next part is important) He offers him water Homeless man: what brand? I don’t drink (I forgot the brand) My dad drove away (Turns out he had a house nearby apparently)
They were upset about cyber bullying and wanted to punish OP by calling CPS. I think they might have showed up to collect the decorations but decorations were already gone. So CB thought that they'd been made a fool of? Only thing that would make sense to me ..
@@aishlnn7150 That's not even remotely cyber bullying though. So no I don't think it makes sense. I think the person who said "cyber bullying" was just messed up in the head, and apparently assumed very wrong things. Yeah LOTS of details missing on that one.
Ring ring “Hello 911 here, what seems to be your emergency?” “Ummm there seems to be a middle aged man hugging a bag in the ally way on *********** street at ******** address” “...” Click
"Would've been better if you gave them sanitizers and toilet paper." That really was one of the guys that now eats toilet paper and sanitizer soup bc they panic bought the entire stock out instead of buying some food. Like, people are in need, starving in the midst of a global pandemic, and this guy's first thought is "They need toilet paper!" Smh
It's not like there are no options other than hand sanitizer and toilet paper showers exist soap exists if you got both those things then toilet paper and hand sanitizer aren't important, just useful
@David Reads I get it, but, I've tried it once in my life, doesn't work at all unless you're essentially wasting paper (I am obsessive about the smallest things and can't stop doing something unless I feel like I'm tired which, in my head, means it's done well). But I get it, it's why I only threw that point in as a throwaway.
I used to baby sit my mum friends kid and for no reason she just stoped paying me, told me she will pay tomorrow and moved out over night. Never heard from her ever again.
I was raised in America but live in the UK and I'm always teasing my bf by pronouncing town names wrong. He gets very annoyed when I rhyme Thames with James
5:27 The background is of the card kiosk at the store. There's a HIGH chance CB just took a photo of a card, but never bought it and fully intended to stiff the artist upon pick up.
Greg b Had an absolute moron in high school attempt to use this “logic” to me when he stole my back pack. I took it back and he tried to get me in shit for “stealing his back pack” he proudly claimed “I stole it, so it’s mine now” to which I obviously replied with “Well, I stole it back, so it’s mine now” I’m pretty sure if the laughter from the other students weren’t in the background, you could probably hear the rusted gears grinding in his head.
That one about Taylor the title of the article is wrong the said she gave money to her fans, from the tweet she put she didn't mention anything about her fans at all, so she is basically helping random people despite the fact that they are or aren't her fans.
I know, right? Plus how hard is it to be a 'fan' of a celebrity? You what, need an email account? The CB is basically complaining that people might have to do five seconds of work for that money.
The thing is, based on what I've heard - the fans are the people she'd actually be able to reach. So it makes more sense to give to her fans because they're easier for her to get the money to.
@@raptorcharly8055 Frankly even if she was just sending it to her fans that had previous sent in their forms giving her legal permission to harvest their kidneys if she needed one, I'm still grateful she's doing it. It's still getting that money back out into circulation, which is way more helpful for every world citizen than what most celebrities are doing, letting it sit and rot in Scrooge McDuckian style money vaults somewhere.
Whenever I run into people like this I just straight up ignore them. I do creative work so people are always trying to get stuff for free. I just reply with an invoice until they pay it.
My mother had the same issue. She used to worked at a retail store and ever so often she goes to an all can you eat Chinese buffet a block away from her work on her lunch break but only order the take out (another word, fill the box of food as much she can) and sometimes share it with co-workers. When she decided to lay low on big meals and stop going he co-workers whines to her like, "Where's your Chinese food? I stop bringing my lunch cause you always go get it from that place!" Last she check, it's not her responsibility to feed her co-workers cause they didn't pack their lunch. LoL
The post about the black backpack bag. This is it. I've finally found the Choosing Beggar that broke me. Out of all the stories/posts I've read about CBs, it was this one that made my brain unable to decide if it wants to laugh or self destruct.
As a woman, I love your entitled woman voice. It's bloody perfect! As always thank you for the great bedtime stories every night and much love from Aussieland m8 «3!
Op who was feeding her neighbour's kids I think get 1/5 bumholes for refusing to cook for them after the neighbour realized she messed up. But 5/5 bumholes to the neighbour for being unappreciative and expecting op to feed her kids.
You gotta love how some people who call people cyber bullies are extreme cyber bullies. There’s nothing like threatening the power of state authorities (CPS in this case) to do your dirty work.
Now, some of you may think that when that one OP posted Sheppard Pie, that she was mistyping, and that she meant Shepherd's Pie, but no. Sheppard Pie is a regional dish from Normandy ;P
For the food bank one... I had to use a food bank once a few years ago because my funds had run low. I have a food allergy to wheat and asked somebody if they could swap out the loaf of whole wheat bread and asked if they had a gluten free option. They didn't, but I did swap out the bread for gluten free crackers. The rest of the box was made up of fruits and vegetables, canned foods, rice, etc. However, organic food is a lifestyle that is based on consumer fear of GMOs. A organic pepper is going to be the same thing as a normal pepper that isn't labelled as organic. However, when it comes to food boxes- be grateful that such companies such as the food bank exist to help you put a meal on the table. While, you can tell somebody that you have a food allergy and they will do what they can to help you, you can't be overly picky and ungrateful.
I have a friend in Finland who writes a blog in English and she is always running sentences by me. I have to explain sometimes that it doesn't make sense but that's how it's said. 😂
My friend Junko is in the Taylor Swift "Delucate" video (2:34). She's the one putting on lipstick. During the filming, she said Taylor was really nice and down to Earth and talked to everyone on the set.
As far as I know, this is your only job/income so I have to ask: Can we get longer episodes? Or maybe a mini episode in the evening? I love your voice(s) and without school my day has been very empty/boring. I think it would be a nice treat to your subscribers during the quarantine, though I understand if this isn't possible.
@@IreFang it wasn't that they asked at all. If they had simply asked the question, I'd have zero issues. The way they asked sounded kinda entitled & like "Since you clearly have nothing else to do" (although I'm not quite sure how that conclusion came to be as we have no idea what anyone else has on their plate right now). It was a bit off putting so that's why I said I hope it was one of those ironic posts where they demand the channel because they watch or money or something in a clearly joking way.
I used to bake on Sunday and take something to the office on Monday. This went on for so long that one Monday I didn't take anything and people came to my desk to complain. They demanded to know what I'd done instead.
Imagine, if when I bought origami paper online, and received an extra small package of papers, due to the delay, I would have complained about not having another extra package? How unreal are the minds of these people.
I’ve been on reddit(obviously because of Rslash )recently exploring the subreddits and I’ve discovered whenever I read I censor the swear words just like RSlash does😂😋 I laughed so hard😂 Awesome content!💙
The dog paw decal one pisses me off the most; probably because I can relate to it the most. You try to be kind to people, but when you give an inch they want to take a mile
I used to fall asleep with r/slash playing in the background but now every time a loud commercial comes on it jolts me awake. Good content, but I need to find a different channel because now I cant fall asleep. And to anyone who is going to say I'm being rude, let me clarify that his audio sooths me and calms me down. Its literally the only things that helps me sleep soundly at night until recently. After the pandemic when I get a steady income I'll gladly pay the premium and return to r/slash for some good old content 😁
I work with some extremely ungrateful people. One of the supervisor made dinner for the whole team. Mind you she was off work that day but brought them food any way. They actually complained because she did make a vegetarian option.
3:48 Funnily enough blackmail is also illegal, at least in the US, and wasting police time is illegal, defamation can get you sued, and finally ciberbullying. Boom. In 30 seconds I came up with enough charges for a hefty fine if not jail time.
That reply to Mr Beast is a great example of some of the people in this world.... If you are the one helping others, YOU are the one who should be ashamed of not them more.... At least we have people doing something instead of just sitting on their backside shaming others for their good deeds (I know people will also accuse of the same thing, but I just want to point out that you should not ridicule others while they have a good intention to help others while they are in need).
Unless the first CB's father is a vulnerable person who needs help, he shouldn't be travelling anywhere during lockdown unless absolutely necessary. The neighbour should be aware of this, and tell him to wait it out.
6:00 My concern is rather: „Hey! My daughter has a very infectious Disease, so when can i come over?“ I also don‘t understand why people think that they get stuff for free, because someone is ill. Maybe Americans should just try arguing like that with their Healthcare system, so they can pay for other things while being ill.🤔
