r/Entitledparents Stupid Karen Gets HERSELF Arrested! 

She should have pressed charges against the Walmart for stealing her toy and selling it... I am pretty sure she would have gotten her hands on the security tape from the store... Do you guys have any idea how long it takes to crochet a freaking amigurumi?!?! I'm honestly appalled by the manager's actions as he literally didn't do shit about it!

About the Baby Yoda story: At that time, wouldn't it have been possible to file charges against the store? I'm not sure what charges they could file, but they clearly didn't do their due diligence and sold an item that was stolen from a customer for their own profit. Also, couldn't they have pulled the cameras and receipts (if the woman paid with card) and help to file charges against the Karen. I know it would be over something less than $100, but the woman stole from a _child_ and got away with it. There should be some kind of comeuppance.

Damn, these stories made me cry... pushing a dissabled person out of the way like trash ? Stealing a child's comforter with the store's blessing and getting away with it? What is wrong with these people!!

Update on the baby yoda doll: It took a while and I was intently focused on finishing the new Baby Yoda for my niece, but I do have an update. Mostly it is disappointing but there is some good news. I called the police: they were only interested in the fact that the materials cost less than $15 total and didn't intend to follow up. I'm not sure what has happened to the store manager, but I did find the cashier when I went back this past weekend. She had apparently objected to the sale and refused to do it, both she and the security guard had escalated the situation and it seems the manager is no longer employed but I don't know for sure. The best part of the week: I received an anonymous message telling me to go a shop across the street from the store where Baby Yoda was taken. I went and there was a sack there, purple Baby Yoda inside. One of the arms had been gnawed off and the robe was ruined, but I was able to remake and replace the pieces. I'm not sure what happened, but I like to think that the Entitled Mother became the target of a LOT of pressure from family and friends. I'll be finishing a new robe for the new Yoda/Child and then my niece will be getting her two toys when I see her next. to the Baby Yoda story: here's a thought, manager: how about you check your store inventory BEFORE SELLING WHAT COULD POTENTIALLY BE SOMEONE ELSE'S PROPERTY TO SOMEONE ELSE. seriously, OP, you need to sue that Wal-Mart

For everyone who is upset like i was with the Purple Baby Yoda story: the baby yoda was returned. Someone on reddit sent a message to OP and said to them to go to the store across the street from the wallmart and the baby yoda was there, in a bag with their username on it. It was damaged, but now the niece has two purple baby yoda. WHO KNOWS WHAT HAPPENED FOR THE BABY YODA TO BE RETURNED.

The store owner should be BEGGING the woman to not be sued to hell and back, hope she sued the store for all its worth.

the story about OP in the wheel chair has me so angry. I really wish that OP was able to defend herself in some way. I feel absolutely TERRIBLE for her. I can't imagine being as helpless and people ruining my first time out in 2 and a half years!

As a Walmart employee, I’m very ashamed how this manager handled that situation. My store never would have let anyone walk out with the toy before we KNEW it wasn’t in the store and it went to the rightful owner. That manager had no idea what was in his own store!

Honestly that manger needed to be reported for even selling the baby yoda before the situation was even finished just because he didn't want to deal with it anymore I mean he could have legit just checked the camera feed and also waited for evidence to be shown to him

To the baby Yoda story: The manager needs to be fired and OP should also sue, he should have properly assessed the situation by talking to both parties involved first but instead he took sides and sold something that belonged to another customer, he also sold something that the store doesn't sell (it was obvious they didn't sell it, where do they make PURPLE YARN YODAS??), he also probably sold it for around 10$ when it could have taken about $40-$60 to make (crochet yarn is not cheap and neither is stuffing, plus depending on how big it was and time spent making it could have bumped up the price about $15ish). Also if the woman used a credit card then the police would be able to find her and OP could also sue her for theft, they could have also used the security cameras to identify her

I'm indian and no we dont treat our disabled people as "shameful". However there are always these entitled brats, who think that the people in the slums of Mumbai are "lazy bastards" (and of course, these people are usually very very rich)

Purple Yoda lady should take legal action against that Walmart, because they aided in (and also committed) theft. If there was uncertainty about the origin of the plush, as the OP had brought up, then they had no right to sell it. And as it ultimately wasn't theirs to sell, they committed theft by permitting that sale.

A good manager would have held onto the baby yoda until after talking to all parties and checking the security cameras which would have shown her walking in with the purple baby yoda. I would have demanded an apology from Walmart corporate, and $250 to replace the purple yoda (materials+time+inconvenience). I would also demand that the women they sold it to be banned from the store.

Someone pushes my wife in a wheelchair like that, they will have to create a new definition of hate crime for what I'd do to someone that did that.

Secondly, in the USA, moving someone in a wheelchair without their consent is assault. That whole group assaulted you. If anyone ever does that again, get their contact information if you can and call the cops immediately.

The baby yoda story: Honestly, this infuriated me to no end. The manager basically sold an item OP made without her permission and without even checking the security cameras. They can be charged you know, and the woman to for theft.

The story about the child getting her home made toy grabbed and taken away made me so mad I can't settle down. They should have never allowed that thief to have the toy back UNTIL they truly determined whose it was. I'm still fuming. Heads should roll. Everyone is talking about the baby Yoda being stolen, but my god. I've re watched this video and had to skip the story about the girl in the wheel chair. It physically hurt me to listen to that. I had an uneasy feeling in my stomach and chest, and it hurt to imagine what op felt.

So for the baby Yoda one, if the woman was in the process of talking to security about what happened, why did the manager allow the Karen to bug the Yoda and leave without getting op’s side of the story?? Wtf?

The story with a wheelchair, if I were in a husband's place, I probably wouldn't be able to hold up and push that woman in the fountain, and then fight anyone who tries to stop me, can't imagine keeping my calm in this kind of situation, this is so infuriating. I know that you should hold back in the situations like this, especially when there is a disabled family member with you, but damn, those people deserve to be crippled, and I mean it. And the baby Yoda story is just as infuriating. You are not a Mama Bear, if you aren't willing to punch someone who steals from your niece in the face. Sure, they can press charges, but that's a regular self defense. I would definitely call the police on Walmart, and they would have to pay hundreds of dollars since I would say that's how much it costs.

The baby yoda story: there has to be some way of pressing charges if not against Walmart then at least against the manger. The manager literally did nothing if he had even checked the security tapes then he would’ve known who was telling the truth and he didn’t even consult with the other woman until the Karen was gone! I mean come on who does that!

When I was in Prague, some German lady literally shoved me out of her way by the astronomical clock. To make it worse, she was one of the tallest people in the crowd, I'm about 5ft 3 on a good day. Some people are assholes but moving a person in a wheelchair really crosses the line.

To the girl in the last story: I used to spend THREE hours a DAY on public transport. Also this was in 6th grade, as well as 8th (I had to retake 6th because I switched to a different school, and spent 7th there as well.) Anyway sorry for that rant but she ha no right to complain about that

The saddest part of these stories is people are usually already going through stuff before the entitled parents just make it even worse.

I wish more had happened to the family that discarded a PERSON in a wheelchair like they were garbage. Glad OP stood up for herself and is proud of it. However, I'm left still feeling resentful and longing for some sort of revenge.

As a crocheter myself, having that happen makes my blood boil. I would go out for blood if someone tried to steal a project I spent MONTHS maybe even YEARS on. Call the cops and sue them lady!!!!

I've never commented on a single one of these videos, but I've listened to probably almost 40 full videos and possibly more and I've never been as frustrated at an entitled parent than with that story about the baby Yoda. Last story: oh no, two hours on the bus, she will die! Some of my classmates would be jealous of her, as we have to take public transport to go to school and because it is normal that we don't have a car ourselves (in the Netherlands you are also not even allowed to drive a car alone when you are below 18). It can take a more time if you don't live in the big cities, but it is still okay, you won't die 😂. If you want to live closer, rent something or live with your family (and do something for them, don't expect them to take care of you for free)

The irony with the checking the hymen story: They are really easily to accidentally break for a lot of women. Cycling, falling over, sudden movements, so many different things can cause it to suddenly break and then that is that.

Oh gosh, I got so anxious just thinking about the wheelchair story. Getting separated like that with no way to help yourself is terrifying. I literally felt like crying listening to it.

My friend is a security guard in our local hospital and he just told me of this encounter with a Karen. My friend ( we'll call him Jay ) was called to the ICU because Karen was throwing a fit because her father had her banned from visiting him. Jay show's up to Karen screaming about how much her father needed her and as soon as she noticed Jay she started going off on him so he decided screw it and started escorting her to the elevator when Karen started claiming that they can't treat her like this and stated over and over again that she is the president of our country and she would have them all fired and arrested. Soo Jay radioed his supervisor to call the police. When they got to the ground floor his supervisor was waiting with a police officer. After telling the officer everything the 3 of them escorted her over to the psych ward and Karen ended up spending a week there before being released. We live in Canada Karen there is no president of Canada lmao

The chances of the OP from the Baby Yoda story meeting the SAME Karen again at a different store will be a MIRACLE! Can’t explain why but the story of the wheelchair broke me. If I was in that situation I would be more than happy to give away my place to someone in a wheelchair. Would make my day to see someone in that situation smile rather than any other event.

This is a short story I have from when I was around the age of 7 or 8. I and my old neighbors used to go play in this public neighborhood swimming pool. We swam from around the times of 1pm-9pm (the pool closed at 10) around the time of 6pm a snobby old man who lived next to the pool started to film us on a tablet. Keep in mind that we are of underage and in swimsuits. We got creeped out by him so we told our parents and when they politely asked him to delete the video and go away he refused for a while. When he did go away we found out the reason he filmed us was because we were "too loud" and "shouldn't be there this late". He and his wife are both Karens so his wife sided with him. Smh.
