I actually teared up a little at that story! I feel so sorry for that poor little girl who just wanted to see Robert Downey Junior who I bet would have made her smile in one hour than that mother ever did!
The little girl wanted to meet RDJ, who played Ironman! Who the f--- forces their dying child to get a f---ing cruise because Mom, Dad, and her siblings want a free cruise? The cruise can wait lady! Your child didn't get her dying wish to meet Ironman! Why didn't someone contact CPS?
So the first story filled me with a deep hatred that I didn't think was possible. You already don't visit your sick child then you take her final wish away. Normally I don't condone violence against entitled people but there is always an exception to the rule.
It's even worse when that's also got a double side order of stupid and spiteful added on top of it. And this is the exact sort of stuff that would have led to me being on manslaughter charges had I been stuck dealing with such monsters on my own. The kind of stuff that would make slasher horror villains like Jason Voorhees and Michael Myers seem appealing, at least for the situation plus catharsis.
@@billclinton6040 the offense may be non violent.. but its so selfish and immoral, on so many level, I'd say it would be an appropriate response. Just as long as the kid looks away when this happens.. that kind of snake would be capable to place blame on the (dying) child after all.

What gets to me is the fact that not only did this awful excuse of a mother take away her daughter's dying wish, but she also would not even visit her sick and dying daughter in hospital... At least from what OP said.
The first story was the most heartbreaking. There was no revenge. No justice. No good triumphs over entitlement. Only a little girl who was robbed of her dying wish, so her _mother_ could do something she always wanted to do.

I’m an old retired hard hearted RN but that story of the terminal child with that POS mother made me furious! I couldn’t imagine someone being that disgusting
I knew a lady that did this to her own daughter for her own gain, and she got a computer. I know, it's so disgusting. My company sponsors Make A Wish kids, and no matter how silly the wish is, we do it because it's about the KIDS. One kid's wish was to spend a whole day building Legos with his family and have a fully catered lunch. He got thousands of dollars worth of Legos and a fancy steak house meal and had a blast with his family (he was 7, I believe). I mean...IT'S WHAT HE WANTS!
@@RibbinOpinion see .. that’s the way it should be.. I’m glad I never had to deal with those parents .. (I’d have to hurt them).. I worked years on chemo/ oncology and saw a lot of heartache but never kids.. how bottom of the barrel do they have to be to do that to their own dying child?
@Rusty Shackleford lets hope so... if it’s caught early it’s not as scary as it was back in the day.. treatment has improved by leaps and bounds over the past 45 years since I started.. stay strong and tell mom to kick ass!
@Garcello I'm gonna respectfully admit that I don't know what Splatoon is, but I'll look into it. I referenced the duality of Order/Chaos, and how their dance brings equilibrium to being :)
"If Jews are so bad, what about Jesus?" -- Bold of you to assume that that kind of Christian actually follows the teachings of Jesus. The only part of the story they seem to care about is the part where he dies, anyway.
@@eckoreckofantasy Please, Ecko, do not show ignorance on this matter. Catholic doctrine claims that during Mass, the "transubstantiation" changes the wine and bread into the literal blood and body of Christ. This based on Jesus' words at the ceremony that closed that "last supper" which was a traditional Seder before Passover. His words constituted encouragement to his followers, in effect telling them that though His body would be killed, His spirit would remain with them, encouraging and leading them; and that repeating the ceremony regularly would help continue His ministry in the world. Only the Catholic Church claims this physical change of the elements; other Christians (Protestants) do not hold to this doctrine. And I would submit that probably many Catholic parishioners doubt the veracity of this physical change.
Interestingly enough those types of Christians (like the mother and father in the story) probably don't realize that the God of the Jews, the God of Christians, and The God of Islam are one and the same. I have come to the conclusion that Jesus was a socialist. He preached about helping each other and loving each other. The Bible teaches that the rich have a responsibility to the poor. This is also part of why he taught that it was easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven. They also ignore the teaching that a laborer is worthy of his hire since they are not willing to pay workers a living wage.
I love how entitled parents are “i just want what's best for my child♥️” yet if you stray even a bit from their pre determined life plan for you, attend the wrong college, work for the wrong jobs, marry the wrong gender, race, or demomination, and “your tearing this family apart”
Unfortunately, as sickening as this is, it happens. I was listening to an Ask Reddit asking MAW volunteers about wishes that they couldn't fulfill. Apparently there's a process where Parents are supposed to sit silent because it's the CHILDS wish. Not theirs. Sometimes they manipulate the child into saying a wish that THEY want. Sometimes MAW fulfills it (Unfortunately), most of the times they don't if they catch it. Also they said that celebrity meet-ups are among the requests that do get denied. Not a lot of celebrities are open to MAW and trying to schedule a meeting is kinda tough.
@@Xolivas1 This is heartbreaking to hear. I do know of some authors and celebrities that would go to visit a dying child if that was one of their last wishes, but to know that these are the sorts of wishes that are denied because a lot of celebrities don't want to do it must be heartbreaking for the child who just wants to meet one of their heroes. But to learn that parents manipulate their dying children to make wishes that only the parents themselves want makes me incredibly angry. It should be about the child, not about the parent.
The Make A Wish one makes me SO ANGRY. It's about the KIDS, not about the parents, but this happens all too often, the parents taking advantage and trying to convince their kids to do something else instead for THEIR gain. It's disgusting. My company funds 10-15 Wishes per year, and no matter how silly they seem, we do it. One kid wanted a Cheeseburger in Paradise Party (what kind of 12 year old is obsessed with Jimmy Buffet??? LOL), so we did it. We even got him a signed photo of the singer (Jimmy couldn't make it), and he ate cheeseburgers with his family and friends, all wearing Hawaiian shirts and listening to Buffet tunes. Another kid wanted a ball pit party, we did it. Lego building party, we did it. Video game competition party, we did it. We funded plenty of trips to Disney and some cruises, too. IT'S. ABOUT. THE. KIDS. UGH.

Definitely not the way to get them to break up, when they have a common enemy and pressure on them breaking up, it makes them want to be together even more.
Exactly, I had a friend who was in a relationship that was also being pressured to break up because of religious reasoning, which just made them more resolute to stay together. I could have sworn I listened to another reddit story once about people who work for Make a Wish and one of their main goals is to make sure the children get what THEY want and are not influenced by the parents. I think the Make a Wish people should have put their foot down, scolded the parents, and let Little Angel meet her favorite celebrity.
My little sister was diagnosed with Leukemia when she was 3 and when she was about 4 or 5, Make-a-wish visited her. She originally wanted to go to Disney World, but due to hurricanes, she couldn't. So, instead, we went to both Disney parks and Universal Studios. She had a ton of fun. I can't imagine someone taking that away from a dying child. If I were the care worker in the first story, I would have reached out to the celeb on social media and asked if they could take the time out to come meet this girl when she got back from her trip. RDJ totally would have done that for her. He's super nice.
That first one makes me ill and furious. How could you take that away from them? That was your child and you used them... That mother used her dying kid to get what she wanted. I am truly at a loss for words. I am not religious but I truly hope that the little Angel is in a better place. The mother deserves so much less.
That thing from the first story, cancer is a touchy subject to me, that woman took her own child's misfortune for *her* gain?! When I was a sick child, I had a make a wish wish as well. It's similar to the first story in that I wanted to meet one of my favourite celebrities, but my parents told me they would be too busy and it would be too hard to get in contact with them and make it happen, and that a stupid Disney cruise for the whole family would be more manageable.. They forced me to choose the Disney cruise for the family, and I honestly felt so cheated and unworthy of the wish I really wanted. Parents, please please please don't try to take over your terminally ill child's wish and make them feel like they're not worth it, or selfish for wishing for what THEY want. It may very well be the last thing they get to have like the poor girl in the first story, and it's so tragic and appalling to see that someone can be so selfish like this.
