I mean, he's more correct in the most literal sense. Cellular reproduction is when cancer cells occur, so the longer you live or the more damage you live through, the more likely you would develop a cancerous cell that would refuse to self terminate and that the Killer T cells would fail to eliminate.
Well, cancer's kinda unique in that everyone is at risk of it, in that it's a question of When not If. Though most people get taken out by something else first.
I saw a FB post once that said, "I didn't wear seatbelts growing up and survived. Share this if you survived too!!". I replied with, "Don't think the people who didn't survive will be sharing this."
I remember seeing someone say "If the Earth was flat, someone would have made a swing/bungee on the edge and daredevils would flock to it" and I couldn't argue with that at all. Someone would have recorded something. There would be records of people falling off accidentally. Even if there's an "ice wall", some people climb mountains for fun! There's no way there wouldn't be evidence of an edge somewhere, especially nowadays.
Funny thing about the dolphins is that they actually do have a language. They even give each other names. Bats do too, it's one of the few things scientists know for sure, like when they're mating they make up like "nicknames" to find each other in the crowds and I think that's cute af

"Cancer didn't exist 200 years ago" We've found a Centrosaurus, a dinosaur that lived 77 millions years ago, with bone cancer. We've also found an egyptian mummy, from the first century BCE, had cancer.
Um cancer as been around for millions of years but now we have more things that cause cancer and yes I know our body's make it but there are things that can cause your body to make the cancer.
well, more things that increase body's *production* of cancerous cells; hence the name of such substances, carcino*gene*s, i.e. "creating/generating cancer".
"Autism didn't exist a long time ago!" Outside of the fact that if it was more noticeable an autistic person was probably killed/locked away for their autism, the world used to be a lot less overwhelming. Also, it's thought to be where the changling myth came from.
Horrible fact: Asperger's Syndrome, a now-outdated term closely related to autism, was named after Hans Asperger, a highly-controversial psychologist who referred many autistic children to N@zi clinics, knowing that they would likely be euthanized for being disabled. Experts aren't certain whether this is true, but the possibility is bone-chilling in and of itself Edit: Evidence of this did not arise until the late 2010's, far after Asperger's Syndrome was merged into Autism Spectrum Disorder in 2010. Psychologists did not know the possibility of Asperger being a N@zi until after AS had been removed from the DSM
You're not wrong about things being more overwhelming these days, and modern society is absolutely not set up to accommodate neurodiversity. I don't think pre-industrial communities would have exiled or killed autistic people. A lot of homesteading work/cottage industries involve enormous quanitites of tedious and repeitive labour. I'd expect that they'd love to have someone who genuinely enjoys those activities ("You're saying I can sit here carding wool all day? Yes, please!"), or whose special interest is related to livestock or agriculture ("Hey, let me tell you all these interesting things I know about chickens"). That, balanced against not being able to maintain eye contact or being socially awkward or only wanting to eat certain types of food, makes them a bit weird but a valuable member of the community.

They've also conducted studies that show that ADHD is actually useful in terms of survivability. They studied two tribes of people. One was considered neurotypical and the other showed more signs of neurodiversity and ADHD. What they found was that in the ADHD tribe, things like being more sensitive to sound and their tendency to be easily "distracted" made it harder for their enemies to sneak up on them and gave them the advantage when it came to hunting. They even noted that their sometimes "erratic behaviour" was often seen as intimidating to their enemies. Nowadays ADHD seems so annoying simply because life is so repetitive and built for specific people, and society has built this mentality of "adapt or perish." While do nothing to accommodate those who can't simply "adapt."
While that is kind of funny since transphobes tend to assume every transperson is going to get surgery, that is not actually the case, and some people who aren't transphobes actually believe it.
@@seigeengineMay I ask, why do some transgenders not get surgery? It is uncomfortable to live in a body, that belongs to opposite sex, isn't it? My apologies, if the question sounds rude (and sorry for mistakes too)
Well, first off, not all transgendered people do feel discomfort in their body. Those that do may not find surgery a desirable intervention. They may take less severe steps. By surgery, you probably mean surgery to reconstruct their genitals in an approximation of the other sex', but consider that genitals are not the only sex characteristics. What about things like face structure, fat distribution, vocal fold thickness, adams apples, breasts, etc.? All of these things can be surgically modified to approximate the natural characteristics typical of the other sex.@@user-zo4ei1ip2i
The “Boomers didn’t get autism and seizures…” stuff is so bs. I have a relative who is in her 80s now who was on serious anti-seizure meds since child hood. And you know what? Her neighbors kids were told to avoid her. When she had a fit, they all went to supernatural explanations despite the whole town knowing what was going on. Ailments have been shamed for the longest time and still are. They’ve always been around it’s just people were shamed into silence, died from the illness, or were killed. Like honestly shut up.
We have centuries old documentation of people having seizures... and they were usually subjected to an exorcism because humans are stupid, panicky animals and see supernatural shite in stuff they don't understand.

Yeah it's like, my grandmother was beaten in school for being left-handed because that meant she was "of the devil". Yet they want me to believe that conditions, which known symptoms often times line up perfectly with symptoms of "demonic possession", would have been treated with respect and taken to a doctor for diagnosis instead of, say, a priest for an exorcism? (Plus my mom is very clearly autistic, it is pretty common in my household. But I guess she is also technically to young to be considered a boomer so...)

The future isn't in disenfranchising people, although that would feel appropriate sometimes because it's easier and we're all tired and kept tired. Part of the reason some people are so lost is because they are tired and it makes them angry and short sighted and selfish through fear. We all have that in common.
IIRC, the reason Dolphins have larger brains is mostly because they're more redundant than human brains. Since dolphins can't fully sleep without drowning they have this thing where they can sleep only one brain hemisphere at a time.
Redundant is wrong. They serve a purpose just a different purpose than a human brain. As many scientists have pointed out we are not the smartest species on the planet just the most innovative.
I looked up “black oxygen” and the first result was the FDA telling people not to use it due to lead and arsenic. So yeah, I think insulin is a better choice(albeit still not a cure).
Illuminaughtii has a video, but it’s wilder than even her story! I was a part of the group that got them shut down, “BOO is Woo.” People were literally putting it in every single orifice. One woman wanted to know how to get it into her UTERUS and keep it there for a while, to detox. One woman said her husband’s p***s got infected, and it “definitely wasn’t” an STI because he would never cheat. They kept putting the landfill bog dirt on it, and it got nasty. I think he ended up in the emergency room. One of the MLM sellers claimed that a landfill bog dirt foot bath would get the parasites out, because they would exit your feet through “quantum tunneling.” Stuff was $110 US for 125 grams/4.4 ounces. «black oxygen organic» was an MLM company. The black oxygen was essentially nothing more than mud. That mud was found to be contaminated with high levels of lead and arsenic. Banned in both Canada and the USA.

"Cancer didn't exist until 200 years ago" We have a surviving Egyptian document describing cancer and how to surgically remove it, dating back to 3600 years ago (literally older than the oldest parts of the Bible). We got the term "cancer" from the OG of ancient Greek medicine himself Hippocrates, who used "karkinos" to describe carcinomas half a century before Alexander the Great... EDIT: typo
Yeah, seems like a prime example of someone assuming that their personal ignorance translates to a legitimate lack of knowledge on a topic. Just cause you didn’t know about people dealing with cancer before 200 years ago doesn’t mean it didn’t happen.
@@johannesstephanusroos4969 Thanks for pointing out the typo. Don't know where you got your information from though, even the Moses-wrote-the-first-books-of-the-Pentateuch hypothesis puts a hard upper limit for the oldest books (i.e. when Moses lived) somewhere in the 13th to 15th (using biblical chronology in the latter case) century BCE. The more realistic hypothesis that the Pentateuch was compiled into a single written text from previous texts and oral tradition puts the date for the oldest written version of the oldest books in the Bible as we know them today during the Babylonian exile (597-538 BCE). The latter hypothesis also has Moses as the hard upper limit for the origin of the contents of the oldest books. Also, as there are post-Babylonian Exile books in the Old Testament, and we have clear dates for when the Babylonian exile was, as we have sources outside the Bible/Torah that document when these events happened. Generally, references the further back they go before the Babylonian Exile, the less they agree with independent historical (mainly Egyptian and Assyrian, the only major civilisations to survive the Bronze Age Collapse) and archaeological records. For instance, events that would have taken place in the Bronze Age Collapse (BAC) are entirely absent i.e. most apocalyptic times for people in the Eastern Mediterranean with decades of famine, every major city in the region being destroyed, almost all major civilisations being wiped out in a matter of years. The Bible makes no mention of this. There is also no mention of the events in Exodus in Egyptian records, or any other historical record of civilisations in the region (and that major of an even would have resulted in a plethora of new treaties and correspondence between the royal houses of the known powers in the region, since that is what we see with other less momentous events at the time). According to recent archaeological finds of Finkelstein et al., settlements of the Israelites appeared in what had just previously (before the BAC) been Canaanite lands. A hypothesis that is currently seen as likely by many historians is that Israelites likely emerged out of previous civilisations of the Levant following the BAC, mostly had an oral tradition prior to the burning of the First Temple, and only fully compiled and codified their history, laws, religious traditions, and origin story into one coherent narrative in the Babylonian Exile. But please do enlighten me with the evidence for how the Old Testament is 4k years old.

Because they heard that some people got sick and so they attributed every little thing to the episode! But with early humans, they obviously broadcasted it across the planet with their super advanced satellite radio system which is why everyone got it at the same time! The same radio satellite that broke because they ran out of the fuel the aliens gave them to keep it in the sky instead of hurtling towards earth because the earth is flat and requires constant upwards momentum to keep it up! Then it fell out of the sky and killed all the dinosaurs. Of course, all the humans were safe because they lived in caves and then couldn’t go outside for a while because of the nuclear blast because the satellite ran on nuclear energy, which is why they spent so much time painting those cave paintings! The one about the serpent symbolism in medicine made me snap. It's actually because of a mythological Greek hero named Asclepius. He discovered resurrection, and was struck down by Zeus. One day, my grandma got me a book that said that dinosaurs were around until 1500 AD. The same book also claimed that mammoths were a type of dinosaur. It left me very confused, since at the time I was going to the public library and my elementary school's library to learn everything I could about dinosaurs and everywhere else I looked said they died out long before humanity was around. I kept the book my grandma got me for two reasons, one was that I liked the artwork, such as pictures showing dinosaurs fighting knights. The second reason was because I didn't want to hurt my grandma's feelings. As I grew older I began to tell grandma about the things I was learning from school and she listened. There are still some things we argue about. I support God-guided evolution where she is a creationist, as an example. For the frequency thing: certain frequencies CAN mildly affect human healing. Key word: MILDLY. It’s been proven (or, at least, heavily supported) that cats’ purring helps promote bone health, as bones harden in response to mild pressure. The frequency that cats purr at (between 20-150Hz) aligns very well with the type of pressure needed for bone growth (between 25-50Hz) and also for skin and tissue (around 100Hz). BUT THIS DOESN’T MEAN YOUR BROKEN LEG IS HEALED. It’s not something dumb like that, it just means you feel comfier. The change is so small you most likely would never notice it happened. It’s just a neat fact! Plus, cats purring also has big psychological effects on the brain, since it tends to make people feel calmer and happier. Not due to any frequencies, just due to the fact that it’s a pleasing noise caused by a cute animal! Also, certain frequencies could potentially make you feel better due to the fact that your brain just… likes certain notes better? And when your brain is happy and not stressed, your body performs better. Plus, music releases large amounts of dopamine, which makes you feel veryyyy good lol AKA pseudoscientists like to take the tiniest slivers of truth and blow them way out of proportion, even though the ACTUAL science is honestly more fascinating, at least to me!

For me it felt like some pretty light flu, but with a lot of heavy bronchial coughing, probably had some bronchitis going on, too (not too bad on my lungs, tho, and no shortness of breathing, just a really heavy cough). So if that's any statistical evidence - yup, vaccine does make it better.
I probably had covid in March 2020, just before lockdowns started, but I thought it was just a really bad cold or the flu at the time (I think I missed about a week of school, and symptoms persisted for 2 weeks). I only realized months later that I had basically all the symptoms as there wasn't a lot of information available at the time, all of the cases seemed more severe (we kept hearing about people having to get put on ventilators), and testing was limited to hospitals, LTC homes, and medical professionals at the time. My dad and I (both triple vaxxed) both got sick fairly recently (he tested positive). He had basically a head cold, and I just felt like I was getting sick (but never had any symptoms and never tested positive).
Exaclty... He honestly might as well have, lol. They're usually friendly to us, but they are the worst to everything else and especially the females and their kids. And to pufferfish, apparently. They're also related to orca's, which are basically the bullies of the sea. The person who said satan created them honestly isn't too far off. In fact, they're pretty educated on dolphins lmao
Whenever an Antivaxxer uses the word "Graphene" when talking about vaccines(the Covid one in particular) I can't help but be like: "You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means".
Out of necessity to remain sane... I've developed a hypothesis that we thinking people are an evolved species from the morons who make these posts... thereby proving evolution. :D
And breast-feeding your daughters will make them lesbians XD but in all seriousness though that was a common myth during the 80s and 90s as a means to deter people from breast-feeding their children. There’s this weird idea going around that if you breast-fed boys instead of bottle-fed them, they would become breast obsessed, and if you breast-fed Your daughters, they would grow up to be lesbians. Like people need to stop sexualizing breasts outside of the context of actual sexual situations
On the sperm=skull+spine: did they skip most of SexEd class or attended one of those schools that barely even teaches the process of fertilisation? Even the most “prude” schools tend to at least tell that part, even when skipping what caused the fertilisation. For those who need a refresher: the “tail” of the sperm cell falls off after making contact with and entering the egg cell. The only purpose the tail serves is to allow the sperm cells to swim to the egg. It’s no longer needed when having merged with the egg so it falls off.
There's plenty of schools in the USA that teach nothing about sex or reproduction. All they teach is abstinence and that "sex is for marriage". And then they're all shocked that their area has the highest rates of teen pregnancy. It also leads to people being so ignorant of reproductive health that they think an ectopic pregnancy can be reimplanted into the uterus.
17:18 Greek person here! The word "pharmakeia"(Φαρμακεία) translates as the plural version of the word "pharmacy" aka pharmacies. The actual word for sorcery in Greek is "mageia"(Μαγεία) :)
Oh no, they've gotten to Click's comment section with their misinformation! Nice try, government, everyone knows Greece is a myth. That's how we got Greek mythology! /s
Oh my god felt my brain shrink when I saw this 17:18… …they could have said anything else. But the just had to confine the staff of medicine with a magic wand😂😂😂 απίστευτο😅
I love how even though these principles and ideas have been proven or disproven hundreds of times over and have countless hours of research put into them by PROFESSIONALS with an actual degree(s) people still think that a few google searches (which will most likely be biased) makes them smarter.
@@j-bob_oreo I did mean "biased"... when something is biased it usually is prejudiced or leaning more to one side of the other. If that explanation wasn't the most understandable then just consult the online dictionary as it will probably have a better explanation then I...
@@j-bob_oreo based in an internet slang, its the opposite of cringe. Cringe is basically not agreeing with one's view or action. Im sure you can fill the blanks on what's based now?
"If this is the result on the outside, imagine what it does on the inside" I do believe it smoothed out your brain to a smooth marble finish. Not a single wrinkle to be found.
23:59 I’m amazed that nobody has talked about 3-legged Carbon/Aluminum aliens in vaccines. That would actually make for something cool in sci-fi and I don’t think I’d mind some weird symbiosis with a metal alien friend
I think the conspiracy nut that came up with this was watching too much spiderman. Just ring a few bells over the needles and the problem will clear itself up.😆
But it's jewish and don't they think that the freemasons and the Illuminati are all jewish? Like the jewish space laser that supposedly burn down forrests from space as Margerine Traitor Greene said?
Boomers: we didn’t have allergies when I was a kid! A diary from 200 years ago: every time I eat this strawberries I don’t feel good. People today: lol isn’t it funny that citrus makes your mouth and throat all tingly? Ha ha-what do you mean that’s not normal?
@@Notmyname1593 Yes and no. Factor one: health care, wayyyy less people die as a result of allergies, than 50 years ago, meaning: the percentage of living people with allergies is significantly higher nowadays, because they don't die from it. Also, diagnostics are much better today. What back in the day may have gone on record as "choked on a xyz" or "has a rash" or "has indigestion" today would go on record as the allergy that it actually is. Factor two: food diversity. This has two effects. Back when people did not have food diversity, if they were allergic to, for example, the only source of protein available to them, they died. Nowadays they can choose a different source of protein. In turn, with today's food diversity people discover allergies they would've never found, if they didn't have access to this foreign type of food. Factor three: before penicillin was discovered (and other antibiotics) there would've been no opportunity or need to detect and record the according allergies. The more "new" substances we create the more likey we're gonna detect allergies that were unknown - doesn't mean they didn't exist. So I'd say detected/diagnosed/publicly recorded allergies are more common, yes. But I don't think allergies in themselves are more common.
People today: my kid is allergic to peanuts, so please find something other than peanut butter for him to eat. 100 years ago: my son suddenly died upon eating these peanuts; clearly they are spawn of the devil!!
I just love how all these big conspiracy theorists just believe that the evil all-encompassing power is a Saturday morning cartoon villain and they ABSOLUTELY MUST sprinkle all these little obvious hints to their existence that only they could see.
As an all encompassing evil, I actually do, do this. The thing is everyone who figures it out gets labelled as crazy which does lead nicely into phase 3 of my plan
I don't want to describe it as 'logic' but the reasoning has a history through many religions and extends into ET conspiracies too. The idea is that the negative force exists in the presence of a greater good, a benevolent god or power that absolutely could intervene yet often doesn't. This indicates that there are rules governing the relationship between the powers, sometimes as a result of the negative force being a creation itself. These rules run roughly along the notion of bestowed free will and that we as humans will always have free will even if that means acting against our own interests. We can do that, because we choose to. It leads to a proposed dynamic whereby we can be led very far down a bad path as long as the rules are observed then the greater good will not intervene. The greater good opposes direct deception and will work against it, but there are many, many ways to let a human deceive themselves even though you have technically been open or even explicit. Some form of notification, some symbol of intention is therefore required but easily obfuscated into a culture like ours. I don't subscribe to the conspiracies but I do think that some of the underlying awareness of human nature is quite on the nose. We're definitely a species that always gets what It deserves even though it knows better.
My Mom pretty much fits into this category, once as a teenager, I was given birth control to help with my really bad cramps, that were so painful I threw up, and sometimes she'd be all like "I wish there was a more natural way to cure your condition, so you don't have to take birth control anymore." I was also diagnosed with clinical depression and anxiety later in life, something I've more than likely had before taking birth control, it was just never properly addressed, or taken care of, and because of that I have missing chunks of memory from all my teen years, until I started taking medication, and was able to think a bit clearly, and she goes on about essential oils that will take care of my depression, and anxiety, and my acid reflux, if I just take their special pills. Or these home remedies, and cooking, that will totally help with my Depression, anxiety, and ADHD, btw did you know my ADHD is unmedicated, because my Mom fully believes that it's bad for me? And when I turned 20 years old, tried to convince me not to? Because I would be tricked into selling it, even though I'm an adult who wouldn't do that? She would definitely believe every conspiracy here. Like damn.
@@BasementCorvid I'm still taking my proper meds, so I'm doing alright, she's at least backed off a little bit, since I'm an adult with my own health in my own hands
@LongJohn Silver That's good, my Dad is still hella supportive, kind, and sweet, and has gone out of his way to make sure I feel better, probably the reason why I was still able to keep my meds, I also suggest not just a psychiatrist, but a therapist as well, there's a huge difference between the two, a psychiatrist is supposed to diagnose problems, and recommend certain medications for your problems, and nothing else, whereas a therapist is the one who also helps to mentally stabilize you through advice, and talking through your traumas, suicidal thoughts and behaviors, etc. But they're incapable of prescribing meds, hence why you need both.
"you'll be tricked into selling it" ....like those essential oils? Best advice is to know yourself, know what's best for yourself, and ignore anyone that says otherwise. Unless they have a licence of course.
Cancer used to be called the wasting disease. Autism was called everything from eccentric to dumb. It is genetic. So I look at my grandparents and I can definitely see what was autistic but they were never diagnosed. So totally agree that it is more about us getting better at diagnosis. Also the birds aren't real is a fake conspiracy. Actually has an interesting start. Well worth looking up.
Also, like, the word "cancer" comes from the Greek word for crab bc the ancient Greeks thought a particular kind of cancerous breast tumor looks like a crab.
Funnily enough, i've had some stranger in a Park genuinely try to convince me and my family that birds aren't réal. It was à weird conversation to say the least......
the lemon and honey remedy does actually work for making you feel better! it doesnt cure viral infections, since honey only has antibacterial properties, but honey coats your throat which makes it feel less sore and lemon helps to break down mucus which can mean you dont feel as stuffy and gross. the vitamin c doesnt actually help an ongoing infection though- it strengthens the immune system, but only if you eat it regularly. So yeah! drink tea with lemon and honey when you have a cold, bc while it wont make you recover, itll make it more bearable :)
Yeah, it looks like it would be very soothing and comforting. Steam and hot liquids are great when you have respiratory issues. And the fragrant citrus oils can help with congestion. It won’t cure malaria, or treat lupus or arthritis, because it isn’t hydroxychloroquine. It also won’t treat c*vid. But it can make you feel better when you have a respiratory illness.
" Rocks Don't reflect light, neither does the Moon" they confidently say while displaying a photograph of a rock made by bouncing light off of its surface
Living is, quite literally, _the_ leading cause of cancer. Other things can increase your chances of developing certain cancers, but the _reason_ is just... out of control cell division, caused by age.
8:30 Even then, rainbows aren’t dome shaped, their circular, but the other half isn’t visible at ground level because it’s below the horizon. Also fun fact: your shadow will always point in the detection of a rainbow.
Even funnier. Some rainbows are not even near the horizon. I saw one “leg” of a rainbow BETWEEN me and a small grove of trees less than 150 metres away.
If my shadow points towards rainbows, does that mean I can find a rainbow just by walking the way my shadow points? (But, for real, that is actually an insanely cool fact.)
@@blipwazhere4162 I think it was a joke. “Your shadow always points in the direction of rainbows when you detect one” Think about it. Points. What do you do when you see a rainbow?
I'm always so amazed at these people so concerned about people reading their minds..... how do they have so much conceite and arrogance? What's so freaking awesome about them? They put everything on Facebook and we all try desperately to ignore them.
The ones most concerned with people snooping into their minds are usually the ones who are most eager to spill everything they are thinking about at the moment. Yeah, no thanks.
I think it’s supposed to be privacy and having it being violated however you’re right… they probably don’t have anything to hide… it’s not like they’re a politician or a person working in the super secret stuff.
When I was a little girl older people were still saying if you sat too close to the television you'd get square eyes. I didn't realise until I was older that they literally believed it would make your eyes square.
@@SartorialDragon My great granny, 100% thought it was literal. By my grandparents/parents generation it was associated with getting poor eyesight. Neither is true, of course.
"I'm the same species as these people!" --- a line which should last unto eternity. Unfortunately, these people will also last, until natural selection does it's job.
31:59 phlegm (pronounced like flem) is just boogers in you throat. Making that "special" juice is just like drinking water, both clearing your throat, but one is slight healthier for you because it has some vitamins.
I suppose another insight, though a bit darker, is that anti-vaxers are natures way of getting stupid people out of the gene pool. Of course, tragically, said stupid people usually make the decision for their underage offspring; so its not the most effective way to go about it. Mother nature can be a b.....
I like how he takes the argument they make and actually considers it for a moment and then debunks it instead of making fun of it instantly without a real reason. That makes these videos unique from all the other reaction channels.
8:45 Fun fact! Rainbows are actually complete circles! We often just can't see the other half of them because, well, the earth is _kinda_ in the way? There are various other natural phenomenon that produces rainbow, and easily can be observed to be complete circles. (I believe snow halos can often appear as rainbow-ish in view, and a full-on circular rainbow is called a "glory." Look those up sometime, as they have some incredible pictures to go along with it!)
“Rocks don’t reflect light so the moon must make its own.” Included photo as evidence: light shining on a rock that makes half of it appear approximately as bright as the moon. 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
Those images where people point out "Oh my god it's a triangle,it has to be work of the iluminati ooooh" are really fun and reminds me of those dank memes of some years ago where people pointed random stuff and just zoom in and boom iluminati confirmed
18:52 has become my favorite conspiracy. You could write an entire story around this and it would be ten times cooler than the actual conspiracy and probably make more sense. Right? I don't know how everyone else would feel about this.
"Studies have proven that wearing masks leads to increased homosexual behavior." Can confirm: I wear my mask a lot and I am really frickin' gay! I love how all the theories of hidden messages in words (like the 'oxygen' theory here) is always based on English. 🤣
@@Polikaize I think that was Erica's point. The "conspiracy" only works when comparing the current English variants. The "theorists" don't seem take into account that the words they're comparing almost always have roots dating back to other languages and seem stuck on just how they are currently in the language they are familiar with, which in nearly all of these cases is English.
lmao, exactly what I've thought about as soon as I've seen that one post. But i mean, with a little fantasy i could even scramble together a believable (for Facebook Christian moms, at least) explanation of that: human flesh is weak, susceptible to VICE AND EVIL, it's TAINTED BY SATAN and SIN, therefore by carbon!!!11 :0
Except far far worse, because the first kingsman film actually had a stable test environment, whilst astroworld was a full blow concert, AKA an incredibly rowdy place to begin with.
I like at the point where the greeks come in fan fact, karen: the greek word for sorcery in greek isn't pharmacy, its magia btw the symbol with the snake on the rod of aesculapyous is bc he was the greek god of medicine, and the snake was just his animal(in greek mythology, every "big" god has an animal that symblolized them) and, no, its not bc its poisonous, like, Hera had a cow for an animal. It is bc, like many things, snake poison thought to be able to cure many diseases.
"Birds aren't real" started as a parody conspiracy, but I'm worried there may by now be people who believe it. It was such a great and funny thing, but... people are too stupid for elaborate jokes like this.
More or less, yes. It's kind of a default form, the form you get when there aren't forces stronger that others pulling or pushing in a particular direction.
To be fair- if i was part of a secret society i would definitely spend my time making small puzzle hints to see if someone could figure it out because no one would actually believe them and itd be funny\
I would also make them, but instead I would make them about another made up society, just to see how many people get fooled believing it and wasting their time figuring out something that doesn't exist.
I love this because that's how the scp foundation name their fake companies. Like the "sea coral pacific foundation" and "spicy curry platter restaurant"!
I applied to join the "They", spent ages on hold, but eventually spoke to a lady called Liz Arrd from their HR dept. She was very nice but said they weren't recruiting right now. Suggested I give her boss Lou Minarty a call in a couple of months. I'll probably go for it, I'm fed up with faking NASA's pictures for 'em.
33:27 Fun little fact: The Cambrian is the first period in Paleozoic Era, which is the first Era in the Phanerozoic Eon. The Phanerozoic Eon also contains the Mesozoic(dinosaurs) and the Cenozoic(mammals). All three of the eras inside of the Phanerozoic Eon only makes up 12% of the earth’s history, with 88% being made up of the Precambrian, which is made up of the Hadean Eon(13%), the Archean Eon(33%), and the Proterozoic Eon(42%).
I don’t mean this as an insult, but how are these people able to take care of themselves??They should be in a mental facility. I feel sorry for them. “It’s giving cult vibes.”
