22:14 once for spanish class we had a writing assignment "behind the door" where we had to write about what would be behind our door. Everyone wrote about luxury shit, but i wrote about the 'door' being a portal to hell where demons came out of to drink tea with my family. Was very wholesome if i say so myself. Also, my spanish teacher apparantly loves my writing assignments because i write about the most random shit to make it interesting

I had a similar thing in an English exam, that's English as a foreign language btw. At the end of the exam, there was a creative writing assignment, and one of the prompts was something along the lines of "At night, I heard the noise..." and I wrote a lengthy story about a girl who has sleep paralysis, but in the very end, it turned out the demon was real all along. My teacher commented that it was a nice story, but I should pay more attention to reading the assignment because it had a mark count and I'd written that many words.

That sounds more like the fae than any other creature. You aren't supposed to thank the fae for their assistance, as it was seen as an act that indebts you to them. Instead, you would say something about their help being appreciated, or give them something equivalent in exchange for their assistance.

I think my favourite weirdly wholesome spooky thing was in the Haunting of Bly Manor - the kids know how the main malevolent ghost works (she stalks the house at regular intervals in a particular path, and anyone in her way gets grabbed and dragged back to her lake with her at the end of the route) so whenever she's out they do what they can to prevent the au pair seeing her. Initially that is just locking her in a cupboard until the ghost leaves, but there's a very cute moment later on where they are keeping her attention on them by claiming to have had a bad dream, so she doesn't see the lady walking behind her, because they know if she sees that ghost she'll get curious and end up too close, so they're just staring past her watching it move on it's route being all "It's OK, just keep looking at us, a few more minutes then we'll go straight to bed....."

I was just talking Halloween costumes with a friend. You might consider some of the options I came up with. A zombie Christmas elf wearing a sign saying "unionize". Or maybe a Satanic nun with a demon baby, how about dressing like Toto carrying a basket with a Dorothy doll sticking out. A great couples costume the man dresses as the nun and the woman dresses as the priest (Catholic).

In order to exorcise a demon, one needs a special demon harness and leash. Or just some good munchies in your pocket, since they are like puppy dogs. They do anything for treats. Maybe Click should make one for the emotional support demon. I actually had two Gremlins for pals as a toddler.

I love the thought of someone like me being out there. Reminds me of the joke where everyone was mandated to use a dating app with a promise they would find the perfect match there. And when you met your perfect match on a first date, you looked at each other and said "yeah, no, we'll go our separate ways" and they left and never met again. And that was the perfect match. I don't know if there is a reverse Zombie Apocalypse movie but there is a very good horror persiflage called "Tucker and Dale vs Evil". It's essentially a "Hillbillies murder camping teens in the woods", but sort of reversed. The Hillbillies are actually friendly people and the teenagers manage to get themselves killed in unfortunate accidents and go crazy. Very funny and very dark.
