r/Prorevenge In today's episode, OP's bosses try to save some money by forcing all of the employees into doing illegal maintenance around the store. OP refuses to do these highly dangerous tasks, so of course his boss tries to fire him. OP retaliates by reporting the company to government agencies, which immediately shut the company down for dangerous work practices. The freaking CEO of the company comes to fire OP's boss, and beg OP not to press charges!

The last story. That last story is the problem why more men don't come forward when raped, sexually assaulted, or sexually harassed is because people laugh them off and say "that can't happen to men."
@zaneyyes7074
@zaneyyes7074 2 года назад
I know right it's genuinely depressing, when woman go through it they get cared for and are taken care of (which is a very good thing) but when men go through it they just get laughed off. it's like people forget that women can literally force themselves on men if they want to. both are disgusting things and shouldn't happen to men and women

@JayLeeBeanz Its also sexist to women too! It assumes wrongly that women are weak and cant possibly overcome a man, which then leads back into the double standard of "lol men cant be sexually assaulted", its a cycle of delusional madness and I am SO glad the OP got justice against the karen at the end.

@JayLeeBeanz I know of a story of someone who got drugged to sexual assault from one of his female friends, multiple times, every time they hang out, he always kept apologizing to the girl because he was "weak to alcohol and kept passing out". The aftermath of each time was a strong headache and weakness basically everywhere. Eventually he was at such bad condition that he attempted suicide only to be saved literaly last second by his friend, I think, and had to move away from the city. From what I remember the girl didn't do it again but didn't face any consequence other than mental trauma. I don't remember anything else.

TL;DR - A team leader tried to frame me for her own theft so I spent the next 3 months in a solo sting operation to catch her stealing in a way I could take to management and prove it was her.” Don’t know why he refused to read something like this even, but it seems pretty disrespectful to the OP of the post. @THE HOUSTONADER The fact that you're taking our criticisms as if we're literally holding a knife to rSlash and threatening him really says something about you. Yes, anyone can make a video on OP's post, but if you're going to use OP's story, the least one can do is properly finish it, especially since rSlash does profit off of Redditors' stories. Understandably, he does pre-record them ahead of time, but that doesn't mean it should excuse it. Problem is that the "trash" food might actually be unfit for human consumption and if a company were to serve people bad food, whether intentionally or unintentionally, then there is a case for a lawsuit and a visit from the health inspector. Plus it is bad buisness if people get the goods/services they offer for free: why pay money when you can wait by the trashcan for free food? (That last one is probably their main concern tbh). @@bostonrailfan2427 a) You didn't really read the second half of my comment, did you? While I pointed out that they might feel like they would lose customers I thought I didn't have to point out the fact that many companies hate paying for proper waste management. Saying my opinion is "complete garbage" while supporting it means that your opinion is just fancy garbage. b) I like playing devil's advocate because it helps prevent myself and others from jumping too hastily into making any opinion that might be wrong and/or harmful, which is what you did. c) You aren't even gonna bother reading this, are you? d) Trust me, plenty of restaraunts/companies want to sell expired/unusable food if they could, but local, state and probably federal laws prevent them from doing so to protect consumers from being fed food that is practically poison but tastes good. Any product that is thrown out is wasted potential income, so why throw it out if they can sell it? Do you even understand what the meaning of "cheap" is?

Not where I'm from; electrical work can ONLY be done by a licensed electrician, and MUST be done via permit, with the ONLY exception of very basic work (ie. replacing a light switch, replacing a wall plug, etc). Anything that fundamentally changes the wiring in any way REQUIRES a permit. The other only exception is if you're a homeowner; you CAN get a permit and do the work yourself. But that's it; you can't get your employees to do it for you. Of course, this doesn't always happen, but you can most definitely report it in my country if it's not done.

The problem isn't that they wouldn'T like to, but the responsibility added to them. If the person eating those over date products gets ill, they can sue the company for neglect~ And in front of the law over-the-date food is equal to poisoned food. And gifting away over-the-date food is considered the same as gifting away poisoned food. Most companies would love to gift them away, some even do in small circles... But the fact the the companies can be sued for people eating the stuff they voluntarily gifted is the main reason that most companies want these products destroyed. As soon that a law comes out that makes the consumer responsible and not the company anymore, the amount of wasted food would plummet to unknown lows!

Back in the day, I worked in a store with the trash-is-trash policy. Electronix, outdated, not even listed in inventory anymore (clock-radios, RC toys, etc.). "Can I have it, vs throwing it out?" "Only if you're okay with getting fired if anyone catches you." (said in a good way, to keep me/others out of trouble) The solution was easy. Bag up the goodies *very* well, several layers. Toss it out. Put it in the trash in an easily retrievable way. Wait 'til after work, "dumpster dive" (even if it's just picking up the "dirty" bag placed behind the dumpster) and pick it up, shed the outer layer. Take home the clean bag o' goodies inside.

whenever a company introduces a "money saved means manager bonus" scheme, just resign. Or at least update your resume and prepare to resign, because it means the company is incentivizing itself to make everything worse. From worker pay to product quality, it's all going downhill fast to make a quick buck for management.

I kept getting pulled into the office at the wholesalers that I worked at about 9 years ago, alot of money kept going missing out of the till and I almost lost my job over it, they never believed me when I told them it wasn't me so I left the company. Anyway a year later I found out that the assistant manager had been stealing money when he was doing the banking on the night and blaming it on workers, he even faked a break-in, he was arrested but he hasn't told anyone where the money is. I'm still waiting for my apology too.

In the last story, from how OP worded it, I don't think anyone at his work knew he was gay. From what he said, he told her he was in a relationship, not that he was gay, so she may not have known that. Doesn't make it right, but something I feel needed clarification.

Not really? Average is between 4 to 6. It's a bell curve, as most people aren't 1s nor 10s. So if we took all 7 something billion people, rated them 1 to 10, you'd find that MOST people would be average, but there's not really a strong difference between a 4, 5, and 6. If he said 7, yeah, that's above average.

So here that's illegal. You must be licensed and insured to do a trade job. Employment Awards also spell out what your job is and if you are asking an employee to do something if they aren't employed in that position. For example you can't ask an office worker who's job is typing or answering the phone to mow the lawn or replace the power outlet that is broken. Australia has very good employment laws thankfully.

TL;DR - A team leader tried to frame me for her own theft so I spent the next 3 months in a solo sting operation to catch her stealing in a way I could take to management and prove it was her.” Don’t know why he refused to read something like this even, but it seems pretty disrespectful to the OP of the post. Especially if you’re reading their story for your channel, the least you can do is read out the entire thing, rSlash.

For the last story, I’m going with the unpopular opinion that all parties suck. Yes, the girl deserved to be fired, but after that OP should’ve stopped. He won. Volunteering as a character witness for a case with a child involved, out of sheer resentment, was an asshole thing to do. She was fired. That’s what she deserved. But I don’t think OP should’ve helped her lose custody of her child.

@rSlash I don't see Jessica being told that OP was gay anywhere. OP said he was in a relationship, not with a person of which gender. Whether it was common knowledge that he is gay and he just doesn't mention here is another matter, but it's not written. I 100% agree with the rest. I hate your "alimony" system anyway. It doesn't exist here. The whole alimony deal kinda implies that the person receiving alimony isn't capable of getting a job. Alimony isn't a thing here, but child support is of course.
