The Sofa King one made me think of a scaffolding company I saw once driving home from an old job. Viagra scaffolding. Their catch phrase was "We'll get it up for you". Also saw a septic truck around where I grew up that said "we're number 1 in the number 2 business". In case anyone doubts this, both of these were in Sydney, Australia.

We have 4 monitors pushed together to form 1 larger monitor, but with some distortion from the borders in the middle. During the homily the word “homily” was centered in the screens. With the borders it looked like it said hornily though. Just what we need on the screen at our Catholic Church while the priest gives his sermon.

1:41 I know a story about that from ArenaNet, the studio behind the Guild Wars franchise. When naming the expansions for Guild Wars 2 they want to go with a 3 word term because it's catchy and memorable (f.e. Heart of Thorns) and it can be nicely condensed into a 3 letter abbreviation. However during the name-brainstorming for the second expansion (now named "Path of Fire"), according to one of the marketing people, at some point a name was on the shortlist that abbreviated to "DTF". Apparently a marketing manager was also in that meeting and he really liked that particular name, but didn't know what "DTF" stands for, so she actually had to explain to her boss the meaning of the term "down to f***", to which he promptly replied "Oh dear! Oh no we cannot use that! you are absolutely right!" So yes there are people actually that oblivious.

As far as these go, my top 3 will always be: The restaurant with a big ol' sign in front of it that said, 'PARTY IN REAR." And, before you ask, yes, it was written in a font made of big block letters. The service that used to be on landlines where you'd dial *69 to find out what the last number that called you was. It allowed you to do the same thing back to someone that they'd just done to you. But the best one, by far, has to be from the story a former Catholic girls school teacher told me. The students begged him to talk to the nuns and explain why they didn't want to sing The Girls Of 69 at their graduation.

Sorry if this is really late to your comment but I learned how writers hide stuff like that past people like disney. They would basically write 2 main scripts for the episode, one that is absolutely filled with adult jokes that kids would be bound to notice. The editors get mad and ask for a rewrite with less adult jokes, then they send in the second script with much more subtle jokes because the editors would assume they made the jokes obvious like before and skip over a bunch of these adult jokes. And that is how you get gems like the stuff in Animaniacs
