Amma suggest my favourite book of all times The Shell: Memoir Of a Hidden Observer by Mostafa Khalifa. This book has been banned in Syria by the Government, not by the citizens whom loved and respected the book, those who got a hold of it illegally. The government didn't want people inside or outside the country to know about the book. This book is not politic based, it is rather a compelling story of the author who had been put in prison and blamed guilty of acts he had not committed. The story has graceful high ups and gruesome down lows, and so many different scenarios happening through out the book, making the book an absolute page turner. I read the book in Arabic, but the book is translated to English and people are giving the translator a lot of credit for his accurate translation on Amazon reviews. So check the book out I promise you will be surprised.

Goodness me. If you claim to be the Messiah, you claim to be God. Eve took Gods words in Genesis 3:15 too prima face of a way, and then, thinking giving birth to a son means this is the messiah, she says she had gotten « The Lord ». « Qainiti ish et Adonai » means « I have gotten a man to-of The LORD ». So getting a man for the LORD, so the LORD can so be born as a man. That’s what Genesis 4 really says. Then there’s also Micah 5:2 which says his going forth is from Eternity. Zechariah 14 says the messiah king to come is The LORD. Also Psalm 72 it’s saying his reign will be even until the moon ends.

So the Rabbi doen't believe in Miracles ??? What of the Mircales of Moses ? Do you not believe they happened either ? Paul did not invent Christianity, He taught that the Christrians are not under the 613 Rubinic Laws, The Christians are not saved by the LAW but by Grace alone and the oither Apostles agreeed with him. But you did not bother to read this in the New Testament. Islam uses this same old argument too. The conversation Jesus had with Pilot begins with John 1:33 - 38 John 18:36 Jesus said to Pilot "My Kingdom is not of this world, if my Kingdom were of this world then would my servents fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews : but my Kingdom is not from hence" And the Rabbi ignores the Fact that the Jews did believe in the Two powers of YAHWEH and in the Holy Spirit of YAHWEH before Jesus came. It became a heresy after the second century as a polemic against Christianity. You Rabbi are no better then the Muslims who cherry pick verses from the Bible or grossly misinterpret them. Interesting talk, thank you for sharing. I'm just going to say these few points. Most christians don't believe Jesus was born December 25th. Abraham was circumcised because he had faith. His circumcision was an outward act of faith and obedience and a covenant. We need circumcision of the heart because it is desperately wicked only God knows it. The term Christians was coined by the Roman empire and Jews not by followers of Jesus. Paul isn't the issue. The issue is Jesus. He is a stumbling block for the Jews. In fact Jesus came to not only set the captives free and give the gospel to the Jews first and then the gentiles He came to set you free from the burdens the rabbis put you under. So many 'oral' laws, that went against Gods. You compare Jesus to the Catholic Church,I think, and they misrepresent Him greatly!. If you knew Moses you'd know Jesus. Now if Judaism couldn't defeat the Roman empire how did so called Christians do it if Jesus isn't who He said he was? Because their God in flesh aka Yeshua went before them, just like in the old testament. Because we believe He is risen not dead. And if what we believe is in vain, then arent we worse off? Look at the nation's that were built on Judeao Christian principles. Western society. Yahweh blessed them abundantly! What you see in the world now is people falling away from Jesus. It's no different to what happened in the garden or what Israel did when they embraced idols instead of the living God. Judgement is happening now. God takes His hand off nations who don't repent of their wicked ways. This is the peace God offers in the Messiah a physical and a spiritual peace a personal peace and a right relationship with God. Cos you have no temple there is no sacrifice for sins. It's really amazing how Jesus fulfilled all the laws and commandments and sacrificial offerings. I would encourage you to just read your bible beginning to end over and over its all you need and grab a new testament while you're at it. And test what Jesus said and did. stop reading other mens understandings we are faulty and we get it wrong more than right.. and most importantly pray to the Most High God of Abraham Isaac and Jacob ask Him is Jesus who He said He was? Poor man. Jesus HAD to be God AND Man, because Man was the one creature who offended The Creator, but the Sacrifice of atonement had to be perfect -- divine -- because the "pay-back" to God had to be of equal value as the offense. Thus, the "God-Man" Jesus. People didn't know HOW to make this magnitude of sacrifice! They needed a "demonstration," so The Son of Man came here to do just that. All God really WANTED was for Man to VOLUNTARILY do what was RIGHT and JUST: "Do justice, love mercy, walk humbly with your God." God never FORCES! He INVITES. If "going good" is the result of force, what GOOD is it? If one only "repents" because he'll be annihilated if he doesn't repent, is it truly repentence? So, Jesus showed HOW to "pay back" God, and invited Man to do it. The Jews hated and were jealous of Jesus because of two things: People were paying more attention to Him than the Pharisees and Scribes, and He called them what they were -- political grifters. (Not because He hated them, but to get them to look at themselves in God's eyes.) So, as in Donald Trump nowadays, HE HAD TO GO! He was rocking their boat. "So He walked on water -- so what? So He fed 5000 with a morsel and a loaf -- so what? I can't believe this man disrespects Christ with those words. He's actually blaspheming, calling Jesus Christ, foretold in The Old Testament from Moses to Isaiah, a magician! WHY did Jesus "walk on water?" Probably many reasons which I don't know. But Peter had to actually HAVE FAITH in Jesus, and FEEL that if he took his eyes OFF Jesus, he would spiritually drown! I think this instance convinced him. The the Loaves and Fishes? WHY? Because the Disciples had to see that FAITH was the WAY to accomplish BIG THINGS for God's People. ALL of us. And so on, and so forth. Jesus IS "The Messiah" the Jews said they LONGED for. But He just didn't LOOK like a Messoiah, did he? Poor. Homeless. Meek. "Insulting." He just wasn't "Messiah-like." Poor man. Poor Jews who REFUSE to LOOK AT JESUS with an open heart. Eternity is a "Long Time." Pride goeth before the fall.
