The Gospels also mention that Jesus blame God on the cross, and said to him: “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?” He calls on him to save him (Matthew 26:39) and the four Gospels said that he was arrested, slapped, kicked and mocked, and then crucified. If Jesus came to earth to atone for Adam's sins, why did he ask God to deliver him from crucifixion?

Jesus was in a mission and the words was already deployed. Judas was not a bad persons only the tool used for a purpose, Jesus knew what was coming. If he didn’t die the way he did maybe his words would be lost in history.

They call it a sacrifice ... but how is it even a sacrifice if jesus did not die. also being an imortal all powerful being what is some thorns and nails to him. I think christianity makes 0 sense even from this perspective.

I suppose Jesus died in his mortal form and experienced intense suffering. Though, I get what you mean - it feels somewhat arbitrary of a mission when God could presumably convince everyone individually if he liked to …

@@AheadOfTheCurveVideos according to the bible he was there with them and he could not even convince Israel, now if we want to take the naturalist approach then this whol conversation is useless but if we say perhaps there is a realm outside of ours that a God may exist. Then perhaps said God 'hides' because he doesn't want to alter free will. Perhaps he knows there is a fine line of 'free choice' and coercion and perhaps that fine line is what we live with now. As far as individual revealing - technically we have that according to many believers around the world and perhaps there is a willingness of some sort for said experience - it would all be speculation anyways and really wont change your or my mind - that is the individual's experience and will impact their decision at the end of the day. It does not provide us with evidence. There are texts however one could use as evidence of course.
