Great recipe for rabbit just a quick tip I take a a meat tendering mallet to the jack it helps break down the muscle fibers! Great video keep em coming 👍🏽

We usually make soup out of the cotton tails, jack wabbits we bake,grill,fry because they have a little more fat so meat won't dry up as much. Great video.

As a Tennessean its great to see people hunting the traditional way out west (for food out in the wilderness instead of commercialized high fence BS) nice harvest and please pass this on to your kids or if you don't have kids teach your nephew or younger cousin or something. It gets cold like that here. The highest weve had here recently was today and it was 54 but everyday before it its been 34 32 30 in the 20s in the teens one night it was 4 degrees here in a couple days its supposed to be 0

Always wondered about how you guys take the pellets or bullets out? When you eat the rabbit are you worried about biting into metal?

I always hunt rabbits with a 22 lr sometimes the 17 hmr. A buddy and I tried it with shotguns and kept biting into pellets. We both decided never again. You only get one pair of adult teeth. Keep em as long as you can.

great show, I agree with your dad, you may have a future in cooking wild game, but really the way you prepared it any and all meat would taste pretty good. When I started hunting in the early 60's there was a saying, only shoot to eat wild rabbits in months ending in Y, I guess the cold weather must help cleanup the chance of Tularmia a desease carried by rabbits, at any rate the rabbit should be checked over before consuming, and cooked hot and well like you said, check the liver for streaky or white marks, if the liver is not bright red, and shows white marks the rabbit may be infected. GREAT SHOW, hey you need to introduce yoyr mother and have her in the videos as well, its a family affair....I REALLY enjoy your videos as you are very ethical about hunting, GREAT TRAINING DAD

We are lucky here ours are healthy so we can fry the backstraps rare and they are delicious slight difference our are rabbits and Hares but much the same legs slow cooked in a casserole are also very nice.

If it works let me know and I’ll be twice as proud for you guys. It does my heart good to see some young guys become successful.... also, you should put on your menu rabbit’s heart; don’t cry cook it over the flame.
