The problem with the CNBC debates was that the moderators were asking questions that aimed to mock the candidates or pit them up against each other in petty arguments. I mean c'mon, they asked Trump if his campaign was for a "comic book presidency."

+Theje I think the moderators' intent was simply to ask the candidates challenging questions, and the candidates don't want to be challenged. I think these candidates basically have a Sharron Angle mindset: "We needed to have the press be our friend. +Theje No, they were meant to be pressing and that question against Trump symbolizes what a vast majority of the country feels about his campaign. The GOP candidates know CNBC is somewhat biased and using that as their justification for being such whiny assholes.

+SirPerfectful every single moderator was also a hardcore democrat. That's kinda fishy and they asked rude questions to almost every candidate not just trump. They questioned Ben Carsons character too which was completely unnecessary and every candidate came back with the perfect answer for every fowl question too.

+Roy Chzn In the democratic debate they questioned Hillary's character as well, so...if you're running for PRESIDENT of the United States of America, you should EXPECT people to scrutinize you and question your character. In turn, you should know how to refute accusations and build people's trust! Jeez, this person will be the leader of the free world! Of course there's questioning of these peoples' character.

It's not that they questioned their character but the attitude in which they went about asking them. Even the crowd booed at some of the questions. It was completely unnecessary to ask Trump if this was a "comic book presidency" I don't even like him but that was unprofessional and he didn't even appreciate the way the moderator asked the question. They tried to pin Ben Carson by questioning his character after being on the front page of some page for gays or something. NO SHIT THEY SHOULD QUESTION THE CANDIDATES BUT THE WAY THE REPUBLICAN DEBATE WAS CONDUCTED WAS NOT ACCEPTABLE COMPARED TO THE WAY THEY GO ABOUT THE DEMOCRATIC DEBATE. DID YOU EVEN WATCH IT?

The only problem I have with the debates, for both parties, is that they aren't on PBS or somewhere where EVERYONE can watch them and not limit it to just those who can afford cable. I'm sure this is no coincidence though.

I am generally Liberal in my views and most likely will vote Dem, but you "Vote Bernie Sanders" people are annoying. You seems more like a hashtag warrior campaign, where you post your hashtags and think your helping the cause. At least include reasons why we should vote for Bernie Sanders. For instance, "Vote for Bernie Sanders to eliminate government profiteering off student loans." At least that sends a message.

Why not just let people try to run? If it was the democratic side that had so many people on the debate she wouldn't argue against it, I'm sure of it. But since it's the people she doesn't agree with she goes against it. Almost everyone in politics is extremely childish. If the person someone disagrees with does something that they could say something negative about or argue against, they will, but if someone they agree with does something, they don't say a word.

The majority of the republicans this year (especially the two frontrunners) are just so so so so obviously really bad candidates. I don't like anyone on the democratic side very much either but at least they aren't crazy

The GOP debate was confusing because they all were banded together to speak against the way they were questioned, which is cool...but...then we don't see what sets one candidate apart from another. They were all agreeing with one another!

we are fucked no matter what. i want to elect a person who has only made at tops 30,000 a year. itd be refreshing. instead we are stuck with the same parties,same families all wealthy and very disconnected to how life is for most americans. About that last debate, the dude with the crooked smile and glasses is wrong. The candidates were being asked irrelevant, dumb questions, instead of, questions about foreign policy, social issues, the economy, or even what policies would any of them set in place to reduce the national debt! Not a mention or word on the national debt. The moderators were just taunting the candidates, to make them look like fools by getting them to argue and fight amongst each other, and a few of them caught the bait.
