Thanks for making this video, I need to upgrade the stereo in my 07 classic RCSB too. I’m not a huge audio guy so this was very helpful. I was surprised you said it had provisions for two cameras because that’s exactly what I need.

Nice! I'm doing the same thing on my silverado currently. Soldered the wiring harness up and wrapped it in cloth athletic tape for a wire loom. I also made a 3d obj dash kit. Printing it right now in abs. :D

Now that you have it all back together, did you remember to install the mic that plugs in separately and goes up the A pilar and above your head for the hands free to work for your phone? I never got around to getting mine installed lol. I actually ended up having to trim my bezel at the top just a tiny amount to get the double DIN installed and looking right. Those front camera options.....I wasn't able to get it to work on mine. These stereos don't seem to like to display any video on them if the truck is in drive! I hope you have better luck with yours! Nice clean install, you're going to enjoy that a lot better. Now you can use GPS from your phone, and have it display on your stereo!

hey mohawk, What tranny fluid do you use in your 4l60e's, I've seen you rebuild them so your the fist person I thought of. I am rebuilding mine this weekend!

If you get the right adapter harness you don't need to source dimming or switched power.
