Another thing I wanted to add on about Venti and Dvalin’s situation. From the Webtoon it is shown that Venti doesn’t have control when he does or does not show up. It is when the people of Mond need him (I think Istaroth plays a massive role in this). He has no awareness of how much time passed when he was last seen and with his dialogue with Vanessa and interactions within mond.

Just doesn’t need a medium (like it’s Mussou Isshin for Ei) and because of that he doesn’t have the sense of time or control when he appears back? I don't think it was ever explained like this, in fact if he appears when the people of mond need him, he would have appeared far earlier, what I think based on the events of the game Venti needs to rest so he can recuperate and get his power back, because that's what happened after he fought Durin.
i think we're gonna go full circle and go back to mondstadt before going to khaenri'ah. my theory is that celestia indirectly controls venti in a manner to limit him and keep him in line as he is, well, the god of freedom. this little shit is too sussy to not be hiding something

This is so right because I'm of the firm belief that Makoto and Guizhong figured out the truth behind Celestia and were killed for it, using the Cataclysm/Archon War as a cover-up. Makoto worked with the God of Time, someone that fought when Celestia invaded, so she was bound to find out. And Guizhong somehow found out as well and was going to impart that knowledge to Zhongli, hence her giving him the dumbbell to unlock before obtaining that knowledge. But realising the consequences of knowing too much, Guizhong tells Zhongli to forget about it with her dying breath - Guizhong's way of protecting Zhongli. Two gods that were probably the smartest out of all known gods are both dead. That is no mere coincidence.
Well, the previous dendro archon may also have known truths about celestia that they aren't supposed to have, because he died in khanrieah just like guizhong and makoto, but can't wait to watch how that unfolds in Sumeru
@@solaris9244 Nah they’re different wars lol. The Archon War happened around 3000-2500(?) years ago and was the period when the original seven archons rose, whereas the Cataclysm (aka the Khaenri’ah incident) is only 500 years ago.
Although I agree, my perspective on it is *slightly* different. I think it's less about 'being able to move on', since that itself isn't very 'eternal'. Rather I consider it to be something like 'what stays with us even though growth and change'. Like Ei said herself about ambitions for example, they are not eternal, because they change or get fulfilled. However, humans' will to constantly form new ambitions *is* eternal. I think that the difference in Makoto and Ei, in terms of their ideas of eternity. Is that Ei was very 'literal' or 'surface level' with her thinking on things, she'd spent all her time simply training to fight, battle, protect, to win. Her style of living didn't leave much room for deeper thinking/consideration. In a battle, things are very straight forward, you 'act' and 'react'. Thus, the only 'eternity' Ei could see at the time was the most 'surface level' one, of *literally* keeping things from changing in any way. Makoto, on the other hand, spending more time in peace and contemplation, being more studied (assumedly, given her intelligence), and spending more time with people. Her perspective on things were more abstract, she saw that even behind a surface level change, there lies something deeper that remains eternally true across individuals.

I really love Ei and this quest. Anne Yatco's voice over is top notch I always get goosebumps whenever I hear her lines specially this line, "And I am she who promised a dream to her subjects...Raiden Ei." paired with the glowing Eyes, (insert Chef's kiss).
When I think of Ei and Makoto's forms of Eternity, I think of poetry. - For Makoto, the part of the poem that's worth sustaining is the poem's structure, like rhyme scheme and syllable count, as well as its themes. The words can change, but the underlying pattern and meaning remain the same, giving the poem purpose and allowing it to take form without being a meaningless and chaotic string of words. But the words themselves are still allowed to change, and thus the poem doesn't repeat itself. She cherishes eternity not as the end-all-be-all, but as a component that works in tandem with transience to create a greater whole. - For Ei, the part of the poem worth preserving was the words. She wanted the poem to stop producing new words and to repeat itself into infinity, regardless of what lines could have come next. Eternity to her wasn't meant to work in tandem with transience, but to subsume it. Transience causes chaos and destroys the past, and rather than choosing which parts were important to preserve she chose to preserve as much as possible and keep things from changing. As a result, she also kept the poem from being poetic; just as her unmoving Eternity was joyless and stark. I don't know what Ei's new views on Eternity are, only that she's chosen to abandon her old ways. But I look forward to seeing her new views take shape.
I think it's like this: For Makoto, Eternity is transparent. Something inherited for eternity like culture, stories and memories. While Ei's Eternity is physical. She values stillness. If there's no changes, it will last forever.
Honestly, Makoto's mindset is rather similar to mine, [I remember questioning about what truly is the force behind an ambition, and how exactly does it work in the first place?] so I can understand most of the things she said. It's a shame that she had to go so quickly... but there was no more reason for her to stay, so I guess it is what it is. It's nice how Ei now understand Makoto's views on eternity better. She had really good character development and I'm really proud of her.

To put it simply, Ei's eternity was more in a literal sense than Makoto's metaphorical sense. Ei's eternity was in a form of stasis - where nothing changes forever. Makoto's eternity was in a more transparent form; like, for example, in history, there is an important event. People starts making stories, or paintings of it, so they don't forget the event. That event will be remembered forever through people who shares it. [this, too, is a form of eternity.] Ei focuses on the ambition, while Makoto focuses on the “force,” that drives the ambitions to keep popping up. Ei focuses on the texts, Makoto focuses on the hidden meaning in the texts. Ei focuses on other things, While Makoto focuses on the moment. [This is my perspective on it. This is a mere speculation, but now I think I know WHY the Sustainer of the Heavenly Principles prevented the Traveller siblings from leaving Teyvat. Since the siblings are not bound by the rules, contract or any form of limitation within Teyvat's place, and are not affected by erosion, adding the fact that they witnessed the Calamity, this could be a issue for Celestia's secrets, meaning that those siblings have a MEMORY of what they had seen and experienced. Therefore, Celestia sent the Sustainer to prevent them from escaping, a.k.a avoiding form of information leak --- and by sealing their original powers and part of their memories with it. However, is revealed during the "We Will Be Reunited" Quest, that the Traveller still posses memories of Khaenri'ah, therefore Celestia failed. And with this knowledge, now the Sustainer's quote about arrogation of mankind have sense. She is basically accusing the Travellers of taking the memories of the Calamity ( of what they had seen ) and since they aren't from this world, they must be punished. Another think to take account that the Traveller's clothes posses some of Khaenri'ah symbols --- and as well, it was showed during the Travial demo, that the siblings did visited Khaenri'ah at some point.
its confirmed they did visit Khaenri'ah bacause in Chasm Archon quest with Dainsleif, the flower on Lumine's hair turns out to be a flower from Khaenri'ah
Also, could this be why makoto was killed? she never sharpened her blade or indulged in any fighting experience, but she went to khaenri’ah herself and she witnessed things, she as an ARCHON probably wasn’t supposed to see. makoto had a good heart as well.
What if the Gnosis are the original power of the Traveler which were divided and given to the Archons to use I know this theory doesn’t make sense but wanted to say it 🙂
I'd like to point out that till now all archons seem to be deeply connected to time. As Albedo states: Earth is the acumulated time of being, and Rex Lapis s memory is what he is renowned for. He is the longest living archon and remembers everything clear as day. Also in Azdaha s quest it was revealed to us that Core Lapis ( his sihnature stone) realy does store memories. And it is not unlikely that Zhongli can acces these memoriues just as Azdaha did.
I would also like you to know that it was shown in the recent archon quest that Zhongli is remembered as something truly astonishing while in fact he is not. He himself claimed that lot of the stories about him are false and that he isn't the strongest archon. Where as Ei has now truly ascended to another level ( the video you just saw is the evidence ) . Despite not having a gnosis all those years she still possessed powers truly incomprehensible . And Mihoyo developers have a track record of making Raiden overpowered . We can start to see that a little in Genshin. The biggest thing and also the most mysterious being that the space around inazuma is not the same as the rest of teyvat. Raiden has changed the space there . This is evident by the fact that you cannot see Celestia from Inazuma. this just shows how angry ei is about celestia and the higher gods. eventually after the inevitable gaccha power creep we will get ascended versions of archons ( its logical since we have seen that happen in Honkai where some characters have multiple versions with different "elements" ( elements in honkai are different ) and then finally we have herrschers . Raiden Mei being the most powerful to date ( she was recently powercrept but the new weapon has brought her back on on of the top characters and lore wise as well ) . There was also a leak of the map and we can see the influence that celestia is going to have later on. I am both excited and curious to see where the archons will go moving forward .
@@skuskulevi pretty much yes. The stones are like a database. They store past events. Azdaha even said some stones have a better memory than others, with core lapis being the best in terms of memory storage.

@@manas4288 it's kinda misleading that a lot of people claim Zhongli is the strongest archon despite the only evidence was him killing and sealing many gods and yet they didn't even consider what Ei did back in the archon war which is basically the same but unlike Zhongli that is debatable that he is the strongest, Ei proved it when she's battling the puppet for thousands of years. Edit: Zhongli explicitly shows how social works in Liyue, lots of thing exaggerated despite not being the truth.

my theory was ei and makoto has always been twin archons. they are considered as one similar to how electricity is considered as one but has two charges positive and negative. so when makoto died, only the positive charge died. the negative charge which is Ei remained. the only difference is that Makoto was the acting archon. Ei was just someone in the shadows. so when makoto died, Ei took the spotlight as the acting archon.
goodness, this story quest was simply incredible. More Khaenri'ah and Kairos crumbs, more insight to Makoto's character, Ei's character development, and, just... the whole thing in general. Traveler's wish to meet / save Ei was incredibly strong to the point they manage to get in that realm again. And that's very much saying something. It's like they just went Shattered Samsara mode and went “You want to sacrifice yourself? Unacceptable. No. Absolutely not.” Also, Cecilias... Hmm. Well, we already do have confirmation of Venti's connection with Kairos, the question is, what type of relationship do they have? he was said to be born from the branches of time... so does that make Kairos his mother? anyways, thank you for the video! and also thank you for pointing out the Dream Sakura's description. now that I think about it, that cutscene where we went back to that realm to save Ei really does resemble a scene in Shattered Samsara. [Spoilers!] The scene where Kiana goes to save Fu-Hua, and Rubia played.
She has one of the most well written stories in Genshin. Her character has many layers of detail, complexity and depth which shows while you play the game. It's not that her story has not been done before but it was played out in a very unique way that fits her perfectly and it was supported with a plethora of other characters which added even greater meaning to her vision of eternity. Very well done video.

Yet, they are perfect side by side. If Ei is not stubborn, then she'd better be the Anemo Archon, which is always carefree. There's this personality test about stubborn person. It's not that they are slow learners, only untill their 'logic' be surpassed, do they give up on their ideal, because they tend to see 'fact and data' rather than 'imagination' and make the best output rationally. We can see people like this have jobs as 'Accountant', 'banker', or things related to logical-matematic. They are usually the top in the class regarding academic and mostly the left brain function the best.

I would disagree with your point at 25:39. That line could also be interpreted as the Heavenly Principles are against anybody who attempts to change time and space itself (the Sacred Sakura was planted in the past).
33:00 I'm shocked to see this. I read a comment saying that "In my opinion, Ei and Makoto are the most powerful archons." I can't remember word-by-word but they mentioned how Ei and Makoto seem to complement each other, by combat and how mature Makoto's thinking's are. I then had the thought that it seemed similar to Guizhong and Zhongli's partnership since Guizhong herself said that, she is the brains to Zhongli's brawns. If I'm being honest, I noticed a lot of parallels of Makoto & Ei to Guizhong & Zhongli. When Makoto emerged from the blade, I thought "Will this happen to the stone dumbbell if Zhongli solves it?" It might be because I'm obsessed with Guili and can't help but connect everything to it, but I don't really think I'm going insane with this little parallels.
In lore Ei is the actual equivalent of Zhongli. Zhongli was the father of martial arts for the main continent, Ei was the mother of all Inazuman martial arts, she is a master with every weapon used in Inazuma. Ei have only grown stronger and stronger ever since the Archon wars. Zhongli was already ludicrously powerful, but he barely changed since the archon war, he obtained the abilty to shape space by understanding his Gnosis, and taught that power to his adepti, but that was literally the only thing he got. There is no mention on physical or magical achievements that he couldn't already do before the Gnosis. Anyway, I think you hit the nail right in the head, there is indeed some form of symbolism between Inazuma and Liyue having gods that share so many traits.
While I agree with everything....to think that the Shogun puppet can kill Ei anytime....I don't think that's true. The fight was between the strengths of their will and since the Shogun is designed to have a stronger and immovable will, Ei had match and even overcome that willpower, she does so thinking about the traveller and the dreams of the people of Inazuma, that's what helps her preserve and win. As for power, it should be stated that they are similar but till that point Ei couldnt use the full power of Mussou Isshin, which she finally unleashed at the end of the fight. So right now, she is more powerful than she ever was in the past.
Also the biggest reason for why Ei is more powerful is that she literally hasn't lost a single time against the puppet in their battle. Still, gods can die so the statement "the Shogun puppet can kill Ei" remains true but the other way around would also be true; Ei can kill the puppet. But she didn't because of any/all of these reasons: 1) that would prove nothing other than their power comparison. 2) the fight was about the strength of will, to show that they won't give up. 3) the puppet is her own creation and is a reflection of herself 4) killing it would contradict her newfound beliefs which emphasizes the importance of life and ambition 5) automatic workforce

And that only happened when the Sacred Sakura was planted in Inazuma after she went to Khaenriah, idk. Also, I really love the relationship of the Raiden twins; despite being opposites, they are both ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of each other. And I am so much appreciative and amazed by Ei's char growth in the story, I feel like a proud mom for her. Everyone too, I know this would've been impossible if it weren't for the combined efforts of all those who were involved. [Some info here, I find questionable, but not everything is actually sure for now. So let's just wait for future juicy info.]
Another thing. Ei said that after she returned from Makoto's realm of consciousness, she saw the sacred sakura for the first time. When she asked others, they said it existed for as long as they could remember. This MAYBE was caused by rukhadevata.

Im not sure if it was right to interpret that Ei couldnt use the gnosis at its entirety. I think gnosis worked just fine for Ei, but she didnt see why she should use it. There's still a possibility that Makoto herself didn't use it or stopped using it exactly likr the other archons weve seen have just givin it away almost on purpose.. And we still know nothing about the gnosis. Perhaps gnosis' use has been fulfilled or they refused to use it at some point, which hinting evil power not good for humans? Ei couldnt manifest the gnosis' energy to power a doll up. It was merely a failed experience. Thus maybe the experiment itself wasnt sufficient to realize which had nothing to do with gnosis. Seeing no other need for the gnosis, Ei too discarded it. Then she found the if not more perfect tech to create scara and the perfection copy of an Archon. The puppet is a copy for the whole archon, not Makoto's consciousness but Ei's, seeing at the puppet warrior skill. Suggesting it is safe to say both Makoto and Ei were the Archon. The gnosis might be only one, but both were the legit Archon of Eternity. They only had different job. One is a warrior One is to govern. People of Teyvat generally may not know, and some of other Archons may not br aware of the two, but surely after both successfully bring Inazuma to the closest to Heavenly Principle whatever that means, people in the need to know, including Celestia must have recognized Ei too, even if not as the gnosis bearer. Thus I argue the fact no one knows about Ei, including celestia, might be a false statement. We knew Kitsune Saiguu went after Makoto to be by her side cuz shes her familiar, then I assume she came back per Makoto's plans/wishes/commands. Almost like a tag team between saiguu and ei, cuz Ei left Inazuma to Saiguu and found Makoto dead, then came back with Makoto's consciousness to find Saiguu also dead. My point is Makoto didnt bring Ei to Khaenriah because of something else, either it involved fate, our abyss sibling, Istaroth, freeing Inazuma from thr heavenly principles or all of them...but it has nothing to do with keeping Ei's existence a secret.

He was the very first thing Ei made. Many many different attempts and versions were made between him and the final product: the Shogun. Scaramouche was made to hold the gnosis, but seeing his emotions, his tears, meant he was susceptible to change. He was SO human that Ei couldn't kill him, which leads me to belive he's more like Albedo. Ei made him a home (Shakkei pavilion) and kept him there for what was suppose to be an eternal slumber. That's the reason Scaramouche see's the gnosis as his heart, his reason for being. It's also why he himself says he's "a human that surpasses all others (pale flame set)" Ei could not find a better way to use the gnosis AFTER him, so gave it to Miko. This is from the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set.
I also think that the reason why Makoto didn't send Ei to Khaenriah is because she forseen that even being as powerful as god may die up there. Ei, in her nature, was a warrior as oposite to other gods that fought in Archon's War, so she would be in the middle of all the hell = most likely to die. And if Ei died, Makoto wouldn't be able to protect Inazuma - she was not a fighter. So she went to Khaenriah, knowing that she may die and made backup plan, to buy Ei some time so she may grow up to become true leader.
In 33:25 i think it fits more to say that maybe celestia doesnt want gods that know too much to be kept alive as they pose as a potential threat to their "Heavenly Principles"

It is interesting that, in the voice lines, Ei didn't like Venti (the Anemo Archon) that much, but now... they seem more and more connected in a way or another.
I have a little bit of a personal theory surrounding Celestia where once upon a time there was original rulers and gods, including istaroth. Then the current rulers somehow came here and set up shop in Celestia as rulers by defeating the previous gods. I believe some of the gods fled, (istaroth again) and have their own ways of hiding from current prying eyes. Perhaps a god uses the ley lines as their way of hiding or connecting with the world and this is why the gods hate the ley lines so much.
a guess: did ei have a physical form again afterplanting the sakura tree in makoto's realm of consciousness, makoto said something like "the sacred sakura will bloom and will finally be free from the clutches of the heavenly principles"
I agree on most part, but just for the "Intuition", The Yae "intuition" doesn't really go that far, if she has that kinda future-telling, she doesn't have the need to fear/anxiety about Ei when traveler wanna came back to save her within the realm. or for self serving purposes (as she should, egoistic queen) the incantation book will not have the chance to booming, as she could use that talent to know Yae publishing house future possible threat, and become invincible. as for the saving traveler from scara, I believe there's another reason behind it.
I believe that she can see through the roots of the sacred sakura, that’s why while talking to scara, the camera briefly shows some roots that were in the factory

I think the archons were instructed to destroy khaenhria by the celestia as that place was more advanced than tevyat and has no archon (no celestial control).that's why when we ask zhongli about cataclysm,he says he was contracted to say nothing about it.i think the archons were instructed to say nothing after the attack.
Well, Zhongli was contracted to be silence about it. Not really sure about Venti, but perhaps he simply dont want to talk about it. Maybe something to do with the resulting animosity between him and Tsaritsa, but who knows.
The lines which are said in the last part make me consider that Makoto, Guizhong, and the previous Dendro archon, are all smart gods and yet all of them died. This makes Celestia seems to be the most anti-nerd god I've ever seen.

so wait, if people thinks ei and makoto is one person and for them original electro archon never died why does Ganyu says 5 of the original archon died before zhongli in the liyue archon quest? how does she knows about it? (how does she knows about makoto's death?)
Ei is implied to be much stronger than Makoto in terms of power, even though Makoto is the one holding the gnosis. She was the warrior and would have supposedly survived if she was the one that went to Khaenri'ah. Does this mean that gnoses do not actually amplify one's powers? Case in point being the Archons still being able to use their elemental powers despite not having their gnoses any more. So what does Scaramouche hope to achieve by running away with the Electro Gnosis. Or what does the Tsaritsa hope to achieve by collecting all the 7 gnoses?
Scaramouche wants his heart. Thats literally just about it. The gnosis is his heart to him and he is not fully himself without it. Its got nothing to do with evil intents outside of maybe still wanting to "Ascend to godhood" but even then: He was tossed out for being too "fraile" and it might just be to prove himself to Ei that he is capable and worthy. But obviously she's changed from the mindset as seen from this video.
In the quest Sakura Aboration(That might be wrong) A shrine maiden tells the traveller that yea Miko sent her because the sakura trees on kannazuka were losing their strength. Later, she accidentally says, "The sakura trees on kannazuka and Narukami are similar. If they are healthy they'll keep what's hidden underneath down there. I shouldn't have said that, please don't tell Miko." So it seems that the Sacred sakura on narukami Keeps Makoto's spirit sealed, but for kannazuka it's not known.
I've always wondered this too. There seems to be build up of Snake blood on the western side of Kanazuka so maybe that has something to do with it? Yae does mention in the Husk of Opulent Dreams artifact set that she would send help to Kannazuka per Scaramouche's request after Nagamasa beheaded Katsuragi.
I think the situation of the death of archons in kheanri'ah was that Makoto's death was not announced to fool Celestia and the dendro archon's death was to decieve celestia
@Harry Shade if I remember correctly, Ei sacrificed her body so that Makoto can ascend to Celestia since Archon needs to rule a country and Ei didn't want to do it, means Ei has the quality of an Archon. Maybe, originally, Celestia wanted Ei to become the Archon instead. So, basically it's Ei's body which is the Archon but with Makoto's consciousness. Then, both are Archon. Thunder can't happen with only the + energy. It needs + and - to create lightning. The + is Makoto and the - is Ei. Regarding Ei could not use gnosis is because the + is died to create energy. It'd be the same with Ei died instead. Makoto probably won't be able to use gnosis without Ei alive. Another theory could be, after Makoto died, Ei cuts ties with Celestia, that's why she can't use the gnosis. Originally, I think gnosis is not some source of power, but a tracking device and phone between Celestia and Gods. Cutting ties means cutting the cable to communicate, resulting to the unusable gnosis. Even after cutting ties with Celestia, Ei is still the Archon. Ei knew doing that might anger Celestia, so that she create the barrier around Inazuma so that Inazuma won't become the next Khaenriah. For someone who thinks rationally, it's the best choice. And about hiding inside Raiden, it's because she doesn't want to face Corrosion. Having corrosion means getting weak, leading her to not be able to defend Inazuma and disappointing her sister's will. Basically, it's crystal clear that's what hoyoverse intend to tell us about Ei. But, the executions aren't that clear leading to the misunderstanding in the air, even up till now. I hope hoyoverse get a better writing in the next Archons story quests to not leading the community fighting over a character.
paimon is the god of time she saves aether and lumine from unknown god and she sacrifice her powers in order to time travel and break the rules of celestia. she probably halted the unknown god in unknown time or dimensions to delay her from destroying whole teyvat
The God of Time is named Asteroth or Kairas, so Paimon doesn’t have any relationship at all here, as I remember, the Unknown God was not going to kill Aether and Lumine where it’s more likely that she had her own plans for them, where is the gorantea that she was to them at the time of their meeting and subsequent the battle told the truth, she could calmly lie to them so that they would not freely start playing her game, this is my point of view, and Paimon was not even close there, and the God of Time is the name of Asteroth, so your theory has no evidence of its probability so that it is not necessary to sing any far-fetched fiction, it is clear.
Ei can use gnosis she just don’t want to use it bc she wants cut tie with celestia, she was failed use modified into a energy supply device, but no matter what she did, but her techniques had no effect on the Gnosis at all, not because she can’t use it. also I think celestia actually knows ei had replaced mokoto but they just ignored it bc it doesn’t really a problem for them like Khaenri'ah does
Now that I think about it... The puppet is such a cheat code for Ei,.not only is it as strong as an Archon, she can also choose to trap people within her Plane, does not get affected by erosion, and could probably be stronger than Ei herself. Now imagine this, you decide to oppose Ei, and the situation is dire enough that Ei just doesn't suddenly care about honor anymore and decides to fight with everything she's got. She pulls you in the domain where we fight the puppet in the story quest and have two Eis exist at the same time. A 2v1 vs Ei and the Shogun is unfair.
Ei right now is stronger cuz awakened musou isshin. Even shogun said it has the power that beyond the limits of her understanding and she beat the shogun because of that.
Hmm, if Ei and Shogun did fight for 4000+ years there, would it make her technically as old as, or even older than Zhongli? Also, can imagine how strong the current Ei? I mean she fought for 4000 years against herself.
I do wonder how powerful post second quest Ei is compared to other Archon, because from the look of it the only archons that can contend with Ei for the title of the strongest Archon is either Murata the pyro Archon since she is the god of war iirc or the cyro Archon the Tsaritsa. As for John Lee he is too old
I really hope that people would stop shitting on Raiden Shogun's archon quest anymore. her quest is on par with ZhongLi and Venti and any other archons. they all have their struggles and we should respect their sacrifices
The gnosis did not fail Ei… that’s not accurate. It clearly states she made the puppet by the time she tried that first experiment. “failing” doesn’t mean she couldn’t put it in herself but that she couldn’t get it to work outside of her body. She had the puppet at that point and her sword would take up space in her puppet anyway
Zhongli and venti are true gigachads not only they protect their respective nations from celestia they also kinda protects others as well (dendro archon theory and venti having close connections to inazuma )
It was the area in teyvat where "the gazes of the gods do not reach". I think it is also where the defeated gods from the archon war and those who refuse to submit under the archons' rule. Other than that, I hope they add more info about it in the future considering how vast are the ocean waters in this game.
I think you are wrong about Ei seeing everything, or at least half wrong, while she might have the ability to see everything, she for sure couldn't have done that prior to her quest, the whole point of making the puppet and abandoning her body is so she enter an eternal meditation to avoid erosion, she couldn't have stopped her meditation to survey Inazuma, not until she had a change of heart at the end of the Archon quest and started to actively govern her Region, in fact Ei herself states in same conversation when she said that she has seeing the hounds, that if the puppet was the one to have detected the hounds she would have just sent the tenryu commission implying that this is what normally happens and if it was for Ei she would have done things differently than the puppet.

The whole "Heavenly Principles" concept and things having no weight, warmth or solidity and manipulating time being against these Principles, remind me of Auditors of Reality from the Disc World (Terry Prachett). Maybe Heavenly Principles are basics laws of nature (time, mass, gravity, laws of psysics). Then the Ley Lines and the Elements are not subject to the Principles as the Principles are built within elements and Ley Lines. That way, using Ley Lines to change the world is stepping outside of the Principles and Celestia who formed them don't want it too happen, because it grants the user of Ley Lines Celestial Powers. Now I go touch some grass...

Every thing about Ei and inazuma in general is unique, i never got this feelings in mondstand or liyue, inazuma stories are deep and well written, the character development of Ei is just awesome

(What if she previously placed those objects as she traveled the world, although now she doesn't remember...)Locations generally require climbing (or floating/flying) ability. the symbol of the base, the colors, etc.She offered to be a guide, so it is likely that she has been there (although she have amnesia, how rare; or nobody remembers her, probably not in that appearance)she can teleport because she is with the traveler or on her own?at least it is clear that they need to be in contact with one to go to another.
the super sad feelings i got whenever the part where the samurai felt joyful seeing shogun around them was played.. we could really feel the despair coming from them. and even so, they still believe raiden will protect them.

Teyvat might fall into darkness when the travellers restore Khaenri'ah and when all of Teyvat had finally learnt the truth and decided to aid the Travellers in the quest of toppling Celestia
Just two small drops: (1) are you sure the monster that attacked Inazuma are not from Khaenri'ah? I'm pretty sure they're identified as such at some point. (2) I wouldn't say that the absence of Ei and Makoto CAUSED Saiguu's death. Saiguu herself told Ei to stay put because she herself was going to handle the situation, probably sensing that whomever stood by Inazuma in that battle would die. This means Saiguu actively stepped in and sacrificed her life for Ei, and I am pretty sure this is hinted in this Story Quest.
