Thank you Carol for watching… I’m working on some video I filmed on Friday of a truck driver getting all upset about the trains blocking the crossing… it was really funny watching him get out of his truck and yelling at the train. 😂 there’s never a dull moment
Interesting seeing the me-mool lights *(o)T(o)* withe red lamp indicating thathe grade crossing siganls are operating. Also seeing the caboose! Thank you.
NO such thing as a TIE at a Railroad RX Crossing. A TIE goes to the Locomotive and the Driver gets Delivered to Morgue. Unfortunately Death occurs Daily. 🤪👎
Awesome UP grain train. Love those covered hoppers👍 I enjoyed the shots. There were quite a few vehicles cutting it close driving over those grade crossings. It’s amazing to me how numb and utterly reckless people have become.
When the train takes the curve that’s the line that would go to logansport. Now a couple times this past winter they brought some grain trains down through Logansport but most of the trains like this one came from Marion.
I was vacationing in Virginia. Peninsula Sub runs near where we were staying. Saw a guy stop right on the tracks. The traffic was backed up from a red light. Signs right there saying do not stop on tracks. Well about 5 minutes after he left an Amtrak went through about 90 mph
@@therailroadtiespiker Yesi i cringed when i saw what he did. Lucky for him he wasn't in that situation 10 mins. earlier. An Amtrak blasted through that crossing at about 100 mph.
Yes because the engine on the head will break off at the elevator and they’ll use the DPU on the bottom to push the train into the yard as they break it down.
Like seeing the grainer covered hoppers rocking on the jointed rail, usually when someone goes up against a freight train it can often be fatal consequences of pulling out in front of thousands of tons of steel and some of the engines alone can weigh up to 250 tons per motor fully fueld up!🛤🚂
