Il 2019 è stato un anno intenso, corso con la KTM1090R al Campionato Europeo Rally Tutto Terreno.
Primo rally in Spagna, non sapevo come usare la moto, non sapevo che gomme usare, la durata, la fatica, come si sarebbe comportata sui vari terreni.
Quindi l'Hellas in Grecia, il rally più bello ed emozionante che abbia mai fatto, abbiamo percorso scenari fantastici e la moto l'ho adorata.
Concludo il campionato al Serres Rally, sempre in Grecia ma più a sud, caldo torrido, secco e decisamente meno scorrevole.
La cosa più emozionante però è stata l'approvazione ed il rispetto che ho ricevuto da tutti i piloti che mi hanno visto correre con questa "bombardona". Ho ricevuto diversi applausi all'arrivo dei C.O, non ci credevo. Arrivavo stremato, abbassavo il casco sulle braccia incrociate su manubrio e subito gli altri concorrenti si complimentavano con me: "You are a crazy man!"
2019 was a busy year, raced with the KTM1090R at the All Terrain European Rally Championship.
First rally in Spain, I didn't know how to use the bike, I didn't know what tires to use, the duration, the fatigue, how it would behave on various terrains.
So Hellas in Greece, the most beautiful and exciting rally I've ever done, we drove through fantastic scenery and I loved the bike.
I finish the championship at Serres Rally, also in Greece but further south, scorching heat, dry and decidedly less smooth.
The most exciting thing, however, was the approval and respect I received from all the riders who saw me racing with this "busty bike". I received several applauses when arrived to C.P., I didn't believe it. I arrived exhausted, lowered my helmet on the arms crossed on the handlebars and immediately the other competitors congratulated me: "You are a crazy man!"
