If you look in at the Back of the center console in the second row there is an AUX under the air vents

Hi Ben I'm now 4 weeks the proud owner of a Range Rover Vogue 4.4 tdv8 and I've got a big smile as you have like yourself I Love it. Always liked them, never thought in a million years I would own one but I bit the bullet and bought it as present to for my retirement . Glad I did regards Allan

Hi Ben.. You are the only RU-vidr I watch. I work in France and now own a L322 td6 Vouge. I bought it with no history but so far after 1500 miles all seems good. I never expected the car to be so fantastic. I tow boats with it, sleep in it, long comfy journeys.. And best of all... I love green laning on Salisbury plains! Keep up the vids Ben... Great work..

No towbar? Pardon my French, but that's outrageous! The TDV8 is made for towing. It was the first thing I installed on mine. A Witter non-removable. Whenever I see a Rangie without a towbar, I scratch my head. It's like seeing a sailboat without masts.

Yeah I know what you mean, but the old one has a towbar so that one can do the honours.

@@rhkavli Yes gearbox is an issue, which shall be recon'd at some point and although not as powerful we only tow 750-1000kg

Have towed with 3.0 td6, 3.6 tdv8 and 4.4 tdv8s, ( I highly recommend putting a tow bar on the Tdv8, ( its going to go down in value regardless so you might as well use it for what its designed for in the mean time.) Plus once you do, You will never go back ;)

Thanks for another down to earth video. Both the L322 and L320 are my dream cars....I'm trying to weigh up the pros and cons of each as a family 4wd tourer.

I've never really taken to the RR Sport (L320), always like the Full size L322! Both have their pros and cons but I love mine.

@@Bensgarage I love the subtle elegance of the L322 vs the loud statement that is a L320. I'm nervous about the gearbox in the L322, so it'd have to be a good one for me to take the risk.

@@offroadoffshore8987 Gearboxes are a worry! Our old TD6 has the five speed and its playing up a bit but our TDV8 has the newer six speed, Its fairly low mileage and well serviced so hoping to keep it going for a long time. I hear the newer eight speed gearboxes are even better.

@@Bensgarage I was thinking to like the sport version before trying a L322 / 4.4 , then that completely changed my opinion - now I even don’t consider RR sport is not the same feeling / I did like the comfort of the L322 is like to be in a living room. Floating above the road so easy car to manipulate !!! Obviously one should nt be scare to manoeuvre “a small big entity” !! I’ll

Congrats on getting the TDV8 ! I'd expect it to be the 4.4 being the last facelift with the virtual cockpit

It must have been one of the very last 3.6 before they came out with the 4.4.

Its good! but the 4.4 tdv8 is a leap above as well. The engine is so much more powerful and the 8 speed box is great.

A great jeep though, Make sure as i said before get the EGR"s and turbos done,! they will fail and it will save you the engine,!....

Just bought a 2003 td6 41 on the clock 🤓 and been living in a garage all it’s life low insurance as per my td5 £315 servicing costs low BMW m57 engine good for 200,000 miles cheep as chips 🍟 21 mpg not bad hse spec so up rating to autobiography love it injoy yoyr truck .😎

Paul CMA engine might be good for that mileage, but gearbox won’t! Keep on top of servicing the gearbox and you should be good.

Why does the undermat feel damp in my l323 I haven't been of road there are 3 mats in it a bottom one a middle one and a rubber top one all landrover .love the rangerover vouge se tdi.3.6 but don't know much about it as onely have it a week ps it's a 2007 one with 148000miles and drives like a dream

Yes they are rather superb cars. You could try looking at the sunroof seals and then possibly the door seals. At that age I would also check for corrosion around the rear doors and wheelarches, all possible places for water to get in.

This new one is a late 2010, cars are a bit more expensive out here in France. I would have liked a newer 4.4TDV8 but they were 5-6K more.

Hi Ben. Not sure if you'll see my comment but got a question about inside room. Driving a 7 series at the moment and looking to buy a L322. The 7 series is probably the roomiest car I've had being a big chap but conscious the L322 won't be much roomier, as the width of the cars aren't much different. What's your thoughts?

It's been a long time since I have been in 7 series, but I find there is plenty of room in the L322. I'm 6ft3 and not exactly slender, plenty of room for me with lots of adjustment in the seats and steering column.

@@Bensgarage That's great to hear. Yes I'm pretty portly and near on 6"7 so it's a crucial part for me. I need to go and sit in one. But it sounds like the car for me. Love the 7 series but I'm wanting a higher seating position, much easier to live with

Complications of heart surgery, my aorta ruptured which led to a chain of events ie kidneys failed, no blood to muscles in legs for a few hours and damage to a part of my brain. But there is hope, I can move my legs just not enough strength to standup.

Interesting to see what is similar to my 2008 SC and what is different. I must say you can tell it is a diesel ☺️. On the rangerovers.net forum there is recent post about the DPF system that is worth reading. Basically, if you only ever drive around at low speeds, as in town, you risk having it plug up to the point it needs to be replaced.

I had read about them getting plugged up with soot, its mostly going to be used on longer runs as the wife prefers the TD6 for the shopping trips.
