Even though this is pretty straight forward, I'll make a video highlighting a few tips and tricks I've learned after doing it a few times now. The hardest part I think is getting the viscous fan back on (but you can do without removing the fan according to the factory workshop manual). But I feel it's much harder routing the belt then.
The fan belt part number is STC4455. It's a 5 ribbed 1815mm long belt (5PK1815) if your vehicle has AC. Sorry I don't know the non-AC belt length. Please leave a comment and I'll be happy to update the description.
Consider doing the belt tensioner, pulleys and water pump while you're in there.
You can reach me at gamuso@gmail.com if you want to get in touch with me.

Thanks for watching, and I hope you found this video interesting.

hello sir many thanks for the video. i have 97 p38 that over heats. new thermostat, radiator, viscous fan. i've by-passed the heater matrix. still over heats. a mechanic told me that the coolant is not circulating. i felt the heat in the by-pass from heater matrix. if i remove the thermostat, will the coolant circulate ? another mechanic told me, there is a possible blockage. i did put some anti leak fluid in the system two years ago. could it be the water pump ? could it be that the water pump is slipping? many thanks for your help.

Those might help answer the ABS questions you have. Video # 16 covers the diagnostics equipment I use: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-9Cs6AnZvSBc.html

There's a special holding tool to hold the pulley. LRT-12-093. Thanks for watching.

32 mm spanner, and tap the end (remember left hand thread), no holding required, never saw a LR mechanic do otherwise.

Obviously there is no need to remove anything except the cover over the fans and the cable cluster under it, the rest can bei done without issues, to get the belt off the fan, shove a section of hose between the blades then turn the fan and feed the belt through until it is out from around the fan. I've never removed any other covers and certainly not the radiator hoses, power steering reservoir etc etc, . Using tyre levers (45cm) lets you wiggle the new belt into position, fingers are too fat. It's a 15-20 minute job
