Hi your video great help to me in dealing with window regulator replacement. I am having some trouble to reinstall regulator clips into blue piece in Chanel. Should window be 5 inches or lower position in door in order to reach front a rear clip? Thanks again for spending the time to document your work !
I did a repair on my alternator about 6 years ago and now it need redoing. Had to look around for a refresher video and found this. Good stuff! I remember this as a horrible job but that may be because I did not bother disconnecting the coolant expansion tank. Did not want to deal with the spillage I definitely am going to to do that this time :)
Thanks man. Living in America with 2 p38s is much easier since you’ve been around. I’ve owned my first since 2009 and my second one was a beginning of COVID $1150 us 87k miles and 2001 in navy 4.6 and first one is silver 99 4.6. Time to replace a window in the 99, after may shots of frustration and anger I managed to clean smash my driver rear window while mad. River windows are tough I might of done this 50 or so times before but she blew out and I had no clue how to remove the window. Very definitely different that disco windows

Hello 'work on p38' I wanted to ask you regarding at part 27.20 can you send me a link to where to buy a screw in shrader valve and the push fit hose connector you use. I can only find a shrader valve costing 27 pounds! its ridiculous. :/

Great solution to the boot lid not opening always, didnt quite understand the switch which you showed on here, its got three terminals. Does the switch only give continuity to two pins and when you flick it over its to the other two pins? but which ones? what happens if i just cut into the black wire and green/red and not use a switch, with the door always open even when locked?
Do you actually need the stop solenoid as my P38 would not start and fitted a new pump in the tank and now fuel gets to the injector pump but still no fuel getting past the injector pump, I have been told to remove the spring and brass fitting in the solenoid and put the fitting back as that is what is preventing fuel getting past the injector pump, I asked if I would need to put new parts in or clean and replace the old ones and was told it wasn't necessary! Were they right? Love your videos.
I need help my pump is leaking and I don't know if I can open it up myself. It's leaking from the back box where the injector pipe nozzles come off the pump so between that box and the actual pump itself if you understand what I'm trying to say
If these potentiometers start to fail can it cause the engine to stall as you lift off the pedal or when selecting drive / reverse when idling,, thanks
my new gasket would not play ball, would not seat fully in the cover when replacing it, it was a pain, eventually got it fit and went for a test run to find it leaking big time, not from the new gasket but the oring, some RTV sorted it but what should have been pretty straight forward was a bit of a pain . My oil weeping was from the front of the cover, so assumed it was the gasket itself, as it was still on the original gasket, not so on this occasion, on the plus side I got a good look at the cam / timing chain, all in great shape for 135k engine.
Are there 2 o rings on the receiver dryer connection to te switch? You point at the (100) o ring that is already mounted on, but there seems t be a second one in the package I have. There are 2 small ones for the other pipes and 1 larger that fits around this one. Moment in video is 8:04
