Pls do more and more tier list of everything: - music - other gen mons - characters -villans -etc I love these long 2h discussions. gets me through the day.❤
Tandemaus line (one of those examples when I don't divide individual species in an evolutionary line) is by far my favorite Gen 9 DESIGN😍 It's not my favorite Gen 9 POKEMON (although, close), but design-wise I absolutely ADORE Tandemaus and Maushols! Genius idea! Also kinda reminds me of goofy Gen 1 multiplication evolutions like Dugtrio, Dodrio and Magneton
If I had to pick 1 of Pawmi evos to be the only one, I'd go middle stage cos it's hilarious that it just stands up. But, honestly, I'd prefer it to be single stage like a proper Pikachu clone. Now it's like a mix between a pikaclone and an early route electric dog like Shinx or Yamper, which in SV is actually a Fairy type - Fidough
I love how subjective this list came out. Having the 3 of you talking them out works better than invidual favorite teir lists. 😅 Silver, I got your back on the cats! I love all animals, but dogs require too much attention for me. 😅 LOVE my big cats. 😁
Nah, if you can’t see why people hate Quaquaval & think it’s not uncanny as an animal in nature, then I don’t think you should have opinions. Y’all don’t even have an open mind to SoulSilverArt. Y’all say Soul had bad opinions when Dusty has objectively the worst opinions of any Pokemon fan . Never let bro cook. 🤮 You actually had the gall to say Delphox & Primarina were badly designed mons yet he preaches “realism” in his designs while saying Quaquaval & anchor tail shark are peak design with a straight face. Bro is devious! I like how Dusty says Soul’s gonna get wrecked when he is just a stupid person who contradicts his own design philosophy that made him rant for THIRTY MINUTES about shells & wings!
Guys, just imagine what Pokémon would look like if triplet evolutions didn't exist. How would it be different from, idk, Digimon or some cr ap like Bakugan? A little bit of goofiness acts like seasoning to a big Pokémon salad. Like, without it it would be just some herbivorous animal food.
Watching this for the first time and only half way through but I had to come down and thank Dusty for the Garganacl defense! Perhaps my favorite Pokemon of the whole gen. Whole line right to S for me.
Loving these tier lists, especially the hot takes. But you guys have me feeling so conflicted about skeledirge. Thought nothing of it when I first watched this video but now I can’t unsee the clown. I never saw it before at all
So funny, my opinion on Iron Valiant is the EXACT opposite of Soul. I like Gardevior, I've never liked Gallade. If it was a little bit more Gardevior I'd like it, but it's too Gallade for me.
S tier: Iron Valiant, Ceruledge, Spragatito, Kingambit, Great Tusk, Finizen F tier: Gholdengo, Dudunsparce, Combat breed Tauros, Quaquaval, Pawmot, Shroodle
Even though I knew in advance that there's bramblebush pokemon my first Bramblin encounter was sudden! It's so tiny and it blends in desert environment so well I let the guard down and thought it was just a grass😂 Idk about you but to me it's an indicator of a good design.
Only gonna listen to this now that I've seen enough episodes to prevent me from hating you for all the bad takes /exaggeration Because to me (as someone who's been constantly keeping up with the series from the very beginning), I ADORE a lot of the Pokémon introduced in gen 9 so far, but there's also rarely ever been any Pokémon where I don't like it for one of many possible reasons, and even rarer do I actively dislike them (Exeggcute a notable exception. I will never get behind it). One of the reasons I love this franchise, is because of how the creature designs appear to be so simple, yet more often than not have a lot of layers and depth to them. And I genuinely think that when people don't like a certain Pokémon, there's a high likelihood that they haven't given it a good chance, haven't bothered to look into it beyond just literally looking at it (and in only one medium), or they just don't care about more subtle aspects.
Oh also, someone's initial impression of a Pokémon being through leaks, instantly makes me care 90% less about their opinion on it xD Because it's more often than not a suboptimal, distorted, incomplete and/or out-of-context presentation of it. Pokémon are usually designed with some kind of intended context or role in mind, they're rarely "just the creature design". I still think to this day that one of the big factors why people recoiled from Gen-5's designs so much, was because so many saw them all at once in static sprite form on an abstract sheet of images. Pokémon deserve to be met individually.
Dude not only doesn't like how teenage girls look (Tinkatuff), but also never liked Gardevoir😢 Maybe I shouldn't call them "dude", cos it's looking more like "dudess"🤣🤣🤣
If Veluza always was fillet form you'd not appreciate the design and say it's just a silly skinny fish. And, again, you get an extra forme for free, how can you not appreciate that?!
Glad that I got around to watching this right after the Galar tier list though before the Gigantimax one Always enjoy the banter and debate you guys have over your opinions
Skeliderge doesn't even look like a ghost type its so bad compared to fuecoco I don't like it at all I honestly think it might be even worse than chesnaught. Low D for me
Great pod guys, this was so fun to hear the differing opinions 😂 Floragato and Farigiraf are my top fave designs - Farigiraf was my main 'mon once I got him, who went to endgame with me. I love that lanky thang. I wish he fit better in the battle screen though 😂 Quaxwell is like my hardest F lol. and gosh, the Golduck slander this episode, omg 😂 Golduck is a top tier design for me, im not sure what it is - the colour? The smoothness? No idea but I love blue duck. I love that everyone can agree, nymble cute
Bro it's so nice to hear other people besides myself say that the tinkerton line isn't all that it's cracked up to be it's a good man but it's not as amazing as everybody thinks it's true
Another point too soul silver from me because I also thought I was the only one that never thought Gardavoir was all that great either never much cared for it
I actually really liked Florigotto, but Meowsquarada kinda annoyed me after looking at it so much. I really wish I would have chose Fuecoco. I hate Quaquaval lol. I loved Quaxly before it's evos.
(NOTE: This is Subject to Change due to me Still Currently Playing Scarlet) Top 12 Pokémon of Gen 9 (W.I.P): 1. Skeledirge Line, Tinkaton Line, Ceruledge Line, Hydrapple Line, Floragato and Lokix Line 2. Annihilape, Farigiraf, Glimmora Line and Cetitan Line 3. Baxcalibur Line and Garganacl Line 4. Armarouge and Bloodmoon Ursaluna 5. Sprigatito and Dachsbun Line 6. Clodsire and Grafaiai Line 7. Quaxly and Quaquaval 8. Arboliva Line and Wugtrio Line 9. Tadbulb 10. Rabsca 11. Toedscruel Line 12. Kingambit
I am not a Sprigatito fan much at all but I would never rank Skitty above or even close to it… ever lol 😂. This is the first gen where I didn’t like any of the starter final forms. The grass and water were way too humanoid. Quaquaval is far far below F tier lol. It would annoy tf out of me moving constantly and being that ugly. I’m saying that as someone who wholeheartedly wanted Quaxly. Skeledirge’s eyes/bald head look soo bad in-game. It looks cool in the show and art but not the game. I think it’s whole face should’ve been engulfed in flames except it’s mouth/snout like the egg from stage 2 hatched and set the nest ablaze. The 🎹’s and bird are cool but Arceus, help the face. Meowscarada is too human but halfway manageable even tho I still don’t care for it much. I get how people can like it.
The thing about Annihilape is that we don't really judge it by design. Looking pretty is, I guess, important, but Pokémon is a game mainly about battling. There's no "syndrom" here, it's just an ok design that is mated to some great stats. And overall it makes it a great pokemon. Judging solely by designs is stup id.
You guys put Ceruledge and Armarouge in S but not valiant? No brain cells detected and what was that nonsense of Mega Gallade beating Valiant? Valiant one shots because it out-speeds
@@Lunkyful It doesn't look any more humanoid than Lucario does. Also, a lot of Pokémon, like Pikachu and Eevee, and some first stage Starter Pokémon have mascot costumes made of them, and they're less human like. Also keep in mind, Pokémon stands for Pocket Monsters, emphasis on monsters, since they come in all shapes and sizes.
