Thank you so much friend! I'm aware that channel is still small but hopefully, if we stick with it, I know that my videos will get better and my humor dumber 😉 I always live hearing people's support
Finland would be the successor of the Roman Empire, but unfortunately it doesn’t exist. It’s a conspiracy made up between the Russians and Japanese so they can fish in an actually much larger Baltic Sea. Or so I’ve been told.
I always thought the Finns were engaged in the hyperwar with the Koreans! Interestingly, I think Finland would actually be a fairly decent contender, but you must first believe in the Russia theory as well - the Finland one kinda exists within a macro. It raises some questions, though, like why wouldn't the Soviet Union be the Third Rome? Just became they claimed irreligion? Well, the Ottomans weren't Christian and they are still believed to be the Third Rome, so why the divide? I guess that's the great debate.
@@fringeflix Honestly I doubt there’s little historical agreement with this but I kind of agree with the angle that the successor has to be religious (Russia doesn’t really count though) just because I consider the Pope the only office that’s survived from the Roman Republic. Is he actually the legitimate continuation of the Pontifex Maximus? Probably not. But for my niche Internet history arguments? He absolutely is. Of course this means people can rightly criticize me for thinking that any nation the rightful pope is in is the legitimate continuation of the West, but that just makes it more fun.
