The named character with the worst luck is IMO Rains Fall. Dude fought an unwinnable fight for half of his life on behalf of the tribe he was responsible for, lost every single family member he had to drankurds except one son, literally gave up, and even that didn't stop him from losing his last son who was his tribe's last hope. Worst part is that Rains Fall lived long enough to see all that. Literally nothing went in Rains Fall's favor. The only thing that comes close to that is the tribe's migration to Canada (where they will undoubtedly be just as prosecuted if not more so)
At least rains fall is an absolute chad about it. He takes it like a champ, always appearing indifferent for the most part. He’s clearly quite sad, you can see it in his eyes, he’s a weakened, broken man. But he still managed to be wise and kind to everybody around him. He offers very good advice and other such things.
@@RedDeadTierLists I think that’s more a case of Arthur Morgan’s cosmically bad luck than anything else. To Dutch getting stranded on guarma was a weekend vacation and losing the San Denis heist money. Which mostly doesn’t matter because there’s always “one more score” with Dutch, no matter if they actually need money. To Arthur, the humid tropical climate and the strain of fighting in a revolution definitely worsened his TB, assuredly accelerating his eventual death.
Jack is the unluckiest for me.... sure he lives maybe even a long life but is it worth it? he was born in a cult-like criminal gang, he passed a big part of his childhood in it, and it's not like you could hide the atrocities for him, his father left the group and almost died a good amount of time even ending in prison, in general the best part of his life is from the epilogue of rdr2 to the start of rdr1 because that was the most "family" time he had, but then he has to wait for his father to KILL people Jack as a child saw as part of a family and he has to see his father die, uncle die and his mother die, his whole family even the "gang" we could count as family all DIED most of them in front of him or he heard about their deaths.... oh i also forgot he got kidnapped in rdr2 and in rdr1 as a 19 yr old he is on the brink of suicide with people comparing him to his father costantly. I'm sorry but.... Jack has to be the unluckiest member ever, for what we saw at least, his life is a costant tragedy of death and pain, a cycle of violence nor his "uncle" Arthur nor his father John could stop, and that led him.... to be completely alone.
Yeah, but in gta v there is a book titled “red dead” written by J. Marston which suggests he settled down eventually, but he doesn’t deserve to be in B tier, maybe C or D tier
@@moopymuffin1099 The thing is, these are all theories for the most part, these are mostly speculations as rockstar simply wanted to insert a cool easter egg, we can speculate all day using clues n stuff, but based on the solid canon for me Jack remains the unluckiest.
Yeah Kieran's life honestly was terrible but I feel Lenny got the shorter end of the stick just cause he could've actually been successful outside of a gang

Most of his folk would be whipped at the cotton fields and face hanging death, he is liked and respected by everyone around him. Kieran though, lives in miserable mental and physical torture all the time, is hated by everyone, never gains any trust, and ends getting the worst torture and death in the whole game, even though he tries his all to be no harm to anyone.
Kieran is probably the one with worst luck. Both of his parents died early on and he had to find some other job to maintain his life. He got kicked from the stables he worked at, the army "didnt work out" for him and his outlaw gang got killed by the O'Driscolls. Afterwards, he had no other choice but to join them, where he was barely respected at all and considered more of a puppet for Colm. Even in the Van Der Linde gang, Kieran was unfortunately disrespected by most characters and in the end he got decapitated. At least Lenny was respected in the Van Der Linde gang and he had the opportunity to learn how to read and write. As short as his life was, he had good moments and people caring for him.

Disagree with Swanson being #1. He is miserable, suicidal, self abusive, addict, for the most of the game. The end for him works good, but otherwise he doesnt seem to enjoy life, but escape the burden of it. Tilly is by far the #1 luckiest. Being a black woman in the era itself is rough, but she got princess treatment the whole time, and got paid better off in the end than anyone else. Its almost unrealistically Disney like story for a black outlaw woman.
Kieran is definitely the worst of them all. Lenny just gets an unlucky sudden death, while Kieran has suffered and been a prisoner in gangs his life. His last months he can barely sleep when Bill and others are daily telling that they will kill him. And eventurally he is tortured and murdered in most brutal way in the game.
I mean John though He had good luck getting away and building a house He still got Injured on his way out of blackwater and being on the side of a cliff sure lucky he was saved then after a few other gang related events got arrested into federal prision with the threat of hanging and then the whole Arthurs final then the pinkertons find him its not because of bad luck they happened to find him more using his name but then he has to go through the first game while his family is at threat then he gets shot dead and his wife dies later Along with His Own son Signing a contract to be hunted down by Law and Pinkertons for the rest of his life with No Other gang members to help him now unless he escapes to tahiti and finds Sadie and Charles
Idk Lenny even though gif a bad hand Kieran gif tortured multiple times by the van dir land but joined them then was rekidnapped by the gang who he got away from and got his head chopped off had a potential lover in Mary loved horses and was mistreated a lot but was liked in the end Lenny was pretty loved beside Micah
@@samuraidoggy I agree Charles is chill but me and him kinda have clashing personalities. I’m an extrovert and want somebody who could match my energy, and Charles is kind of boring. Uncle is 4th for that reason

Hosea definitely died in bad way but at the same time, given the fact he was the eldest character in the gang at probably 70+ years and with nothing else to live for besides the people in the gang, he lived his life to the fullest. others have died very young. especially Lenny or Jenny.
