Rapala® Shadow Rap®: Tips & Tricks HOW TO FISH 

The way I fish it is similar but I don’t pause as often. The pause is definitely what gets the bite but what gets the interest is quick hard jerks to make a frantic fish presentation. I fish a very clear water quarry and have the ability to observe a lot. Shadow rap does awesome in peak summer on this cold spring fed water. I always work along banks. The quick jerks without pause will get a dozen fish at times following it then three or four jerks with pauses is what triggers the bite.

A little more vibrant colors like white and chartruese work well in dirty, stained water. Clearer water you want to use less vibrant translucent colors or chrome.

This dude has some very impressive casting skills you are definitely good at it I got to give you that, I have the exact same jerk bait can't wait to use it.

Working on my JerkBaits fishing technique for this year. My eye is on the new shadow rap! What colors do you recommend for stained or dirty water? I like the carbon color, other suggestions? Many Thanks!!
