Agree i like how mk9 looked just by a bit more with it's saturated colors. Worked better for classic costumes too.

Wish NRS release a patch fixing it a bit. Or maybe there are some fan made mods?

Not as colorful as MK9. That game just oozed with personality and that classic MK feel.

That's was my main problem with MKX, blood was too dark and gross to look at and the characters were bland looking

@@Jarl97 I thought MK9 was better. Design was awesome to me and Tag team battle sold it. MKX is great too, although to me not the best in the costume department but the gameplay was a lot of fun. Haven't seen much of MK11 yet so no comments right now. Trying to wait for all of the DLC's to come out first then play it.

mortal kombat should be colourful in my opinion Because the way you can tell which character is which is through the colour they wear If u made mk1 scorpion and subzero both red u cant tell which is which

@@Kmkmkms i do kinda agree to an extent, i think this game has enough color but if you understand colors and shading, this game has too much brown and grey, so because theres not allot of contrast happening, it fades the bright color with the shitty dull colors

Watching a bunch of virgins judge female outfits has to be the most hilarious thing I’ve ever seen.

They were rating them really unfairly, I feel like regardless if I agreed with some of the sentiments, I feel like they don't really rate the costumes for what they are sometimes- I kind of like they take more subjective opinions but they word it in a objective manner- so I feel like when they talk about their gripes with the Kold War costumes they aren't giving it a fair shot- on what the costume is supposed to be- but yeah I don't really agree with a lot of the ratings here.

Yeah I love Tundra and Revolution (sub and kano) but they both got poor ratings. Another thing I noticed is the "over designed" argument for mk9 and injustice scorpion. Both skins look amazing but mk9 got shitted on. Still enjoyed the vid but it just bothered me.

Yeah I basically played tundra sub zero for the past 4 years lol it's probably my favorite costumen

He looks super good in MK11, however I feel the sunglasses look cheap on that one, like it's modeled after some of the the mass produced ones instead of designer. (I'm a sunglasses snob tho, it's my favorite real life accessory, so my opinion may be invalid :P)

Gannon Hunt 1 out of 10 shoulder pads suck. The only time I’ve seen shoulder pads look weird are on a few armor sets in dark souls. Other than that they work really well with the costumes

This is all just opinions at the end of the day so you may like some costumes or character designs from one installment of MK more than they do.

@RINGER I agree that opinions can be criticized, but opinions are subjective. I personally prefer the face models of MK 11 but dislike the overall character models of MK 11. I don't know what your second sentence is trying to say, but if you're saying that "calling an opinion a nitpick isn't a good defense", then I guess I agree.

Options would be nice if you make an equal number of modest and sexual costumes so everyone can be happy imo. Though gore wise I believe you can only go so far with a M rating vs AO which many games MK as well have been told AO till you tone it down on the blood and gore. Sure they have a bad reputation as many are just porn games but done right you can tell stories that deep dive into issues like mental illness without being shock for shock sake. Imagine a day where you can get both the M rated version of CoD games and the AO version that has a deep dive story about how PTSD really is for those who go to war and return home damaged. Jmo but done right maybe we could come to a better understanding of these people. Could you see yourself playing a Silent Hill game that blood gut and themes much darker than what we see in M rated games? I know some new issues could arise with this as well but I believe if content is going to challenge the way one thinks about issues or for thouse who would prefer content that they disaprove of being left into M rated games then maybe it's time to rethink how we view AO games like Postal,Hatred, and one of my favorites Man Hunt. Their Rating on MK4 Quan Chi was really weird. Always thought it to be the best Quan Chi has ever looked. To give it a 2/10? Meh

Yeah but 2 - 3 of the costumes for each character are like a variation of one another. Like for Cassie there’s a variation where her default armour has little armour plating and another variation where she’s just wearing a jacket

remisan I actually like the higher amount of greys. It matched the general dark theme with Mortal Kombat. It is a game about brutally murdering people, so (IMO) it just seems reasonable.

There is so little difference with the 3 of them Jason only adds a chain in his neck and the mask turns black on the other. Predator the same, mask changes to black, add a cannon or without a mask. Alien change the size of the head, the classic style, add the Tarkatan "spikes" in his head or add the Queen head. That's all, the costume doesn't change a lot like Triborg, Tremor or Leatherface, there is no much difference.

Leatherface has the most difference with his variations

MKX has the worst Mileena's design. In MkX, they created absolutely opposite appearance of Mk9. They made Mileena asexaul. Mileena in Mk9 is primarily a mixture of idealized beauty and monster. These are 2 characteristic features of the character, without which she ceases to be unique. In Mkx, "Mileena" became short, with a anormal huge head, disheveled hair, short legs. She lost appetizing body forms. I like MKX it's a fun game but I don't like how they portrayed my favorite female kharacter.

They absolutely seem to just throw out a reason when deciding on their rating. Multiple times they'll saw they don't like one because there's too much going one, then rate a skin high because there is a lot going on.

Yeah. There's 10 variations of six costumes and two variations of each gear piece. It's actually not totally out of the question, but I think the skins would be easier given the 25 character cast.

agreed, but if you actually look at details, this game nailed it, mk11 made things too simple and high contrast, mk9 hit that rightspot of color and detail, i do like mk10 skins more tho than mk9 or mk11, except Scorpions skin... mk9 scorpion is awesome
