We explain what a Ratty Muscle Car is and why you should take notice! Ratty Muscle TV is coming soon and this video will outline what is in store for the upcoming episodes, and give a sneak peek at the video we have taken so far. ENJOY
Great mission statement! I myself am pushing for this movement! All of these plastic cars you see nowadays have lost the character and spirit that old school vehicles possessed.
it is true. cars with plastic parts should exist because they are light and inexpensive low fuel consumption just for you to leave the house to go to work every day and get money to buy a real car. from there you go to a dealership to buy a beautiful and powerful 600hp sports car and you are disappointed with the entire front and rear construction made of plastic. It breaks the heart.
Wow! I did that in the mid 70's. I was newly married, just starting my career. I got an old '65 Malibu SS. The old was flat black, the rest of the body was faded British Racing green. I installed 100K mile LS6 454 with a 4 speed and 4:88 gears. I trimmed the rear wheelwell lips and rolled the quarters to fit 11" M&H slicks. I street raced it for a couple of years.
I'm 17 years old and I'm turning 18 in September I've been inspired by what y'all do and can't wait to find myself a treasure that i can drive with pride. ride on!
I got a ratty muscle car. I could use all the inspiration and motivation you guys car spare. Love the idea. They don't have to be perfect just be alive and running.
Coming from me, a kid who’s learning how to build a car slowly but surely. Too many young kids only get excited about finished cars, shiny paint, big motor. But aren’t willing to do it themselves
Well they did follow the blasphemi on the power tour so who knows. Might just see Finnegan and Freiburger take the general mayhem heads up against the rmc super bee, but thats just wishful thinking from me.
Can't wait for the full episodes. Im slowly winning my friends over to this idea and my craigslist favorites are filling up with potential. Best of luck man keep the dream alive!
I've been talking about this kind of thing for years. I bought a 68 GTO about 10 years ago. Started to dis-assemble it to do a full on restoration and now I realize I will have more fun with it by just throwing the front clip back on and drive it........so I did, and I do.
Love what your doing. To many people are trying to restore show cars and end up running out of money and the car sits forever, abandoned or sold in pieces. Lets get these cars out of the barns and fields so we can enjoy them again. It's time to quit building trailer queens.
I'm 56, I have a crappy looking '72 Mustang with a 350 stroker (302/347/30 over) Of all the flashy show cars running around here.... MY car usually has the biggest crowd around it, people wanting rides/pics, etc.
I have been following you on Instagram for quite some time and I have to say this is awesome and I'd love to meet you guys some time because I like putting these cars back on the road again too. You are intending this for younger generations and them being aware and I'm like that too but I just got my license and I've been doing this for a while with a couple of friends.
I think to bring back to life old muscle is very cool, I have this 1972mustang coupe has a 347 stroker itsa pretty bad ass car it's defiantly ratty but I'm all ways having issues with it and it's all ways related to the 4 barrel quick fuel carb. The throttle cable bracket isn't holding the tension so it's idling to high if anyone has any tips that would be much appreciated if I could actually talk to the guy that does the old ratty muscle cars that would be so cool he really knows these old cars
Hey love your stuff. I feel the same my mustang will never be finished but that's ok. How can l get a sticker from you guys lol. I love it keep doing what you guys love. I enjoyed your videos
