Rail panels and sale panels are really tough because if you can’t do it with the glue pulling system all you can really do is just tapped on the browse and hoping to lessen the dent. Hope that helps👍
@Petersondent

The glue is a heat based system it dries according to temperature so if you get the metal too hot it won’t pull correctly all different Glooze have different temperature ranges so it depends on where you are the temperature and humidity. Hope the videos help.

You have the exact right idea, most people don't even realize that they have to pay their deductible, not only that but it goes on the Carfax report they were going to sell their car. So many factors go into the benefits of Paintless Dent repair, and all the trolls out there who seem to think that it should be perfect like as though it came from the factory or sadly mistaken because this is a craft not a perfect skill. Nothing ever comes out perfect when it's been stretched like a metal

i think it is better to heat up the area your going to apply the glued tab to first, then after applying the tab is to cool the area down quickly with either cold water in a spray bottle or liquid gas refill for lighter really cools it down making the glue harden real quick. The connection between the glued tab and the surface your pulling is far superior and reduces the wait time to ready for a pull instantly especially with the liquid fuel freezing it making the glue solid. Try it and see for yourself the difference, you'll never do it that way again. Eagle One Over and out

Youre supposed remove the tail light and get access through there to pick the dent out with about a 36 inch rod and the light close and out so you can see inside the dent, and then finish with the light farther away and close to the vehicle body.

Would’ve been a little better had he turned his light and pulled and tapped from different perspectives. To be fair, those light boards with the lines show every minor imperfection. Even imperfections that come from the stamping and paint from the factory that 99% of people don’t even know exist when they buy a new car.

Sometimes when I get sharp dents that are glue pull only, I will wet sand the dent after I pull it out some. It will change the orange peel and you can pull the dent out some more. Rinse and repeat. Just knock it down to bring the orange peel back and don’t burn the paint lol.
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 5 лет назад
Michael Mashpotato thanks for the comment. Yeah are used to do a lot of wet sand back in the early days but it's risky and for my level of customers cars I'm working on now I don't even have wet sandpaper in my tool kit. Thanks so much for watching and commenting. It's much appreciated👍

PDR Peterson Dent Repair I mean, I work on Escalades too. There’s a ton of paint on GM vehicles. Just saying that would have made that dent look a lot better. I would honestly rather sand it out rather then leave a dent looking that way. But that’s just me.
@wolfy566
@wolfy566 6 лет назад
It looks better than when it was a fresh dent, it still catches your eye as its a black vehicle plus its a fairly flat panel. I think if you wanted to get it close to perfect you would have to push the dent out from the other side.
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 6 лет назад
Yes that’s exactly what would have had to happen and the customer didn’t want anything taken apart specifically, and this is the specific reason that I wasn’t able to get the results to that 95-100%
@wolfy566
@wolfy566 6 лет назад
PDR Peterson Dent Repair I’m looking to get a similar dent taken out of a door so I’m thinking of doing a glue pull like you demonstrate as I don’t want my door cards taken apart.
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 6 лет назад
Yeah Wolfy The glue pulling system works good on factory paint in this case it wouldn’t pull the dent out because of the severity it was right by a body line. The customer opted to not take the interior parts apart and so he was left with a dent and no charge

Well Russian bot I hope you’re not a Russian bot, I’m not real fans of those trolls leaving negativity on channels are only trying to do honest good work. I know the tapping does not create little dents when you know how much force to put into the swing of the hammer, and the rawhide is exceptional in the fact that it prevents these said divits or paint in perfections

I dunno, considering this started out as an obvious dent I think he did a pretty good job in a non destructive way. There are areas of a cars body that is near impossible to access without drilling. Most insurance companies don't dig drilling into a car body. The hood is a good example. My hood has taken some damage. I have a 2016 honda pilot. The hood has a few dings in it from some hail. It's a twin wall design, so interior of the hood is fine, but the outerwall clearly has dents. Body work is very expensive considering it's just cosmetics. For a 100 dollar kit vice a 500 to 1000+ dollar repair for a couple of dings, I'm impressed.

@Ochtane101 Год назад
You mean, tap around the outside, The crowns, then pull ? I have the Keco mini puller, and am using , I believe it’s the TB Weld, grey glue? I had a scumbag, throw a rock at my car, at night, parked in my driveway. That’s how I got started on all this?
@Petersondent

Yes, you want to release the tension holding the dent which is always held up in the brows 👍👍

Whats the best Glue guys ?
@Petersondent
@Petersondent 6 лет назад
Tis Real Flat Are use black plague glue. I don’t know if it’s from Keco corporation or not but I just search Black Plague glue on google😊
@marknoble5495
@marknoble5495 3 года назад
Depends on the environment. Black Is good in cooler environments. In the southern US where it’s much more hot and humid, it’s way too soft and will actually clog your glue gun up and not push out. Green is kind of a middle glue and something like the red is great for hot and humid environments. Dent out is a good PDR glue but expect to pay $1.50 to $2.00 per stick. Can usually find some generic high strength glue online at a fraction of the cost. The very best glue on the market is probably Cam Auto Pro glue. They have a video of picking up the front of a car with it, lol

Jesus Lopez There are a bunch of different kits usually the higher quality ones come from a specific PDR company. Keco is a good company. Black Plague makes good glue . you should find a bunch of companies just by googling glue pulling PDR

Have your puller go back and forth more before it pulls off. I would focus more on getting the dent pulled up as much as you can, until you have a nice crown and than tap it back down flat. If you can't push it out, you can tap it back in. As demonstrated in this video watch?v=Be0_ZA4tpkU
