How there's not another comma in your subscriber count, I do not know. This video is amazing, man. You've got better editing than RU-vidrs who have millions of subscribers. Keep doing what you're doing, and I promise you that you'll have your big break. Nice work, man!
+TheGrizzlyMuffin haha thanks so much bud :D I spend a lotttt of time on these, time that I often don't have so i'm honestly glad you enjoy the content! I've got a huge review for the steam controller in the works which i'll start posting next week and I hope you like it :D!
Thank you so much. I inherited mine from a close friend, who was getting a new one, and for at least 2 months I had no idea about synapse. You also let me in on a couple of other things too. Thanks a lot!
@@itcamefromabox No problem, your video was the best out of all of the others, so you deserve the views, likes, and comments! But if I could have a minute of your time, I have a question about Razer Synapse 2. I have that version because I'm on a Mac. As you know I have the Naga Epic Chroma, and after some browsing through google, I had set up my account, and the mouse was ready too, in the wired form. But when I changed the colours nothing happened. People were only changing the colours of their keyboard, and they changed instantly, but my mouse still hasn't changed colour. Do you know why? Is there a step I've missed?
ShadowChemos Hey thanks! I'm doing my best to explain and answer pretty much all the questions i'd have about whatever I review and as detailed as I can get without getting too boring! I've got a lot more in the works at the moment so glad to have you subscribed! :D
Thank you for your review!! I wasn't sure if i needed to put the mouse in the "off" or "on" position for wired charging (while still using). Your review was the first that went into that much detail! Much appreciated.
I loved the video! When I watched it I made my mind up that that's the mouse that I'm getting. You are great at reviewing and I think your the best I've seen so far. Thanks for every thing it was so helpful and hopefully you have more videos that help me and others.
Old Gumps Very humbled and glad to hear! Thank you for the kind words and I can promise you i'll keep putting the time and work into each video which I hope you'll enjoy!
Thanks so much Joe :D We spend a ton of time on each video and it's completely worth it for viewers like you! Appreciate you and hope you like what we have coming soon!
Man you really should have more subscribers and more views. It looks like you spent a lot of time and effort creating this thank you for educating me on the specs of this mouse. You have earned another subscriber and a like keep of the work and hope you get the subscribers, likes and views cause you have earned it!
Dead4Effect Thanks a lot for the kind words Dead4Effect! I spend a lot of time on each video and hope to provide info that I wish I had when purchasing whatever it is i'm reviewing. Thanks for the like and subscribe! I'll keep putting em out and I hope you enjoy them :D
@Yeniie Truong Hey Yeniie, I can't seem to reply directly to you due to your settings but I hope you get to see this! The difference between the Naga Epic (2014) and Chroma is that the Chroma is wireless and of course has the lighting feature but aside from that, not much else is different. The Chroma uses the 2014 edition of the Naga Epic as a base and I believe the Naga Epic (2014) actually offers a left and right handed version though! Hope that helps :]
It Came From A Box Hey bro. I've been using my Naga Molten for about 4 years (and I absolutely adore it) and it finally broke after A LOT of using. Would you recommend I upgrade to the Epic Chroma or should I switch to another mouse?
You should do more gaming tech reviews & your popularity will grow up so fast, I watch all of your tech reviews, & the quality of them are a lot better than most of the other famous youtubers :)
+BanditFromHell ™ Thanks so much! I've got a ton in the works along with more reviews :D! I hope you get a chance to check em out and let me know what you think!
First time I've subbed on somebody after just watching 1 video. One thing I really like is that you didn't linger on the box which I believe nobody really cares since everybody can get the same info on the manufacturer's website. The second thing I really like is that the review is in-depth with a pinch of humor here and there. I think you have convince me in getting this mouse. Thanks for the review and hope to see more of your vids!
Xhygore Laboratories Thanks a lot! I'm really glad to hear you like the approach i'm taking especially with the small amounts of cheesy humor here and there haha I'll be posting some more videos starting this week so I hope you like them and if you get the mouse, let me know what you think! :D
Fine Film Gaming Thanks a lot ! I put a lot of time into 'em because it's pretty much what i'd like to find when i'm considering buying something like this. More incoming so I hope you stick around to check 'em out :D!
Lune Arts I'm no good at sharing but I gotta get better at it :O I'm just gonna keep making videos and hopefully they'll get more views with time! Thanks a lot Lune, i'm glad you like it!!
+PLPSAutomatic Thanks so much bud :D Too many hours go into each of my videos @_@ Huge things coming this month, hope you enjoy what we have coming up :DD
Because everyone has to start somewhere. He's said before that his channel is relatively new. His growth is actually really good for someone who hasn't been uploading that long.
Agreed, thanks so much buddy! I'm working on a big update for this week so i'll be uploading it tomorrow with a bunch of plans for the future! The comments i've been getting from everyone has really inspired me to go all the way with RU-vid so I hope you like what we have in store :] Appreciate your response!
That's a super detailed & comprehensive take on the mouse. Thanks! Anyone here own a Naga Chroma in 2019? How does it compare to the more recent releases?
10:33 Razer could have placed buttons 4 & 5 at the side of the left button to make it more accessible, like they did on the Naga Molten. But it's not a big deal and the tilt definitely compensate for it. The review is fantastic. Thanks a lot ^^
Mastr Mastic I wouldn't be surprised if they do that for the next version! And thanks a lot Mastr appreciate it :D! Hope you like what we have coming up soon!!
Awesome review man! Really glad to see the comment section really clean of trolls and kids accusing you of being a Razer fanboy since you gave this product a whole lot of praise, I wish you all the best and hope your channel prospers on topic though, I just got this mouse and I'm really excited about all the customization options, my head is spinning from all of the possible keybinds especially since I'm using an Orbweaver as well (I have no gaming PC yet and am stuck using a laptop for now) perhaps you can include your keybinds and a few tips in your Synapse 2.0 review?
+Genpark Snooze Hey Genpark! Thanks a lot, I appreciate the kind words :D Razer definitely got it right with all the buttons on this one, I understand some people dislike the brand due to either pricing or problems with hardware/support but so far i've had a good experience with them but if anything happens, i'll definitely be updating with another video about it! As for the mouse,If you sit down with it for a few hours and just think about what you can do, you'll find yourself doing so much more in MMO's :D Especially with macros! I run a druid in WoW which I run heals and dps with so i've been creating macros for spell cycles and such which have made me extremely efficient. I've always made multiple profiles per character, so when I switch over to my lock, I'll have all those macros ready to go! I've also used it for CS:GO for buy macros! I'm also going to going to make a video reviewing Synapse 2.0 after I finish my Blackwidow TE review! After what you said, i'm definitely going to include some keybinds and macros that I personally use! So hope you stick around for that bud :D
I have the Razer Naga 2014, it's not RGB or wireless. I'm thinking about getting this mouse that you reviewed, is the upgrade worth the money? Or should I just stick to my 2014?
+Invisible Gamer Official Gaming Channel Hey buddy! Thanks so much! I actually use the Destructor 2 and i'll be putting up a review on it soon! :D They also have the Firefly, but the reason I havent gotten it is because I dont have any more room for a USB device D: Also, the top part of that mousepad would get mixed up with the cable on the mouse D: Hope that helps!
For some odd reason, my number 1 key on my razer naga 2014 has been acting strange. Every single time I click 1, it does not work unless I click it like 5 times, then it starts working.
lol I love how I was just looking at reviews of the razer ornata and loved your video then I was like well mabye I'll get the naga first, hmm I wonder if I should get the epic chroma... typed in a review and well you were here xD
+Murrey Eats Food Thanks Murrey!! We're hoping to get reviews out faster so we can hopefully cover all the main products within that family :D This way we can later compare some together!
electr1c eels Thanks a lot! I've been advised to make short videos before but the whole premise behind these is to show the info that you can't just find on the box or website so i'm really glad you like it!
you will get more subscribers soon, like any other youtuber, you dont just get subscriber instantly, you have to keep on growing and making more videos, i think your off to great start, i think your going to get there very soon.
Great video! :) Would suggest having some more detail about the type of sensor being used (in this case, a PTE laser sensor) and also the configuration software (Synapse). I think Synapse is super easy to use and it would help if viewers could see that too. Overall, great effort and I hope to see more products being reviewed here (already subscribed). :)
Srinath Unnikrishnan Very true! There were some parts I had to try to simplify a bit but I do wish I went further in-depth with the sensor. As for the software, I may be putting together a video just for it because I think it works so well :D And thanks a lot, truly appreciate the feedback!
Now, do you need the doc with you to play wirelessly? And what if you decide you want to play wired, can you plug it in to your computer and play that way?
Well I bought this and love it! One quick question though.. Can I buy and extra braided cable for the mouse? I'd like to leave my rig alone and have an extra cord to take the mouse with me to use on my laptop occasionally..
It Came from A Box, this is the first video i've seen of yours and I think You're great! if you could, do a razer mamba chroma VS razer naga epic chroma. Thanks!
I am assuming the mouse sends it's wireless signal to the charging dock? Do you know if Razer has a way eliminate the dock for tramitting signal (I have space requirements) and use a small USB dongle like what Logitech uses?
+II Vindictive II I wish there was, I think they tried to kill 2 birds with 1 stone with it. I'm sure they could of made a mini dongle to go with it but i'm guessing that's probably something we'll see for the next version D:
whoa lad i'm actually subscribing to a fucking tech looking channel honestly thought you had a few hundred thousand subs, boyo you deserve mine don't change the quality of your show it's great.
+Rozzok Comments like yours honestly mean the world bud! Thanks so much, we've got a ton of content in coming in starting next week, please keep me posted and let me know what you think :D!
Are the buttons on the side too easy to press that you just keep accidentaly click them while normal using the mouse, because it sometimes gets intense and I might accidentally grip too hard. I might have to go with the Deathadder or the Mamba if it is annoying.
+Jack Armitage In my personal experience with having the naga for over 6 months now, I can say that I have never really had that problem but i did think it would be when i got it. It might depend on personal holding style or hand size but my thumb can grip to the side of the mouse comfortably just above the buttons when I need to grip better, also the buttons are not overly easy to press by accident, so if I do grip when my thumb is on the buttons I can still lift the mouse without the buttons pressing.
+Jack Armitage The buttons are very clicky on the thumb pad so I haven't really had a problem with any accidental clicks :D Especially with games like CS:GO where something like tha twould get you killed D: But I will say, the reason I got this mouse over a Mamba was because of the extra options it gives you with the thumb pad keys! Just think of what you can do with macros alone :D
Exactly, I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to randomly click the keys whenever I grip the mouse, but it looks like the only way to press the keys is intentionally. Thanks
To me it is! That's of course because I use it every single day and for just about each game! It feels really good in hand and looks like a professional piece of gear :D!
Very nice review. Just ordered mine. I had the original naga purely for Mass effect 1,2 and 3. Now that andromeda is just around the corner I thought I'd get an upgrade, especially considering the fact that I'll be playing on my couch this time around! Do you have any recomendations on a good wireless keyboard with backlighting? Doesn't really need to be gaming grade per sa.
Hey snake! Thank you and let me know how you like it! As for a backlit keyboard, hmm. The only recommendations I can give you that I've personally tested would be the Logitech Illuminated Living Room Keyboard K830 (www.logitech.com/en-us/product/living-room-keyboard-k830) which I always use in the living room. Love the build quality and the keys on it. By far one of my favorites. Another that i'd also suggest but sadly DOESN'T have illumination is the Razer Turret system (www.razerzone.com/gaming-controllers/razer-turret) which includes a mouse and keyboard with gaming capabilities! Ours lives in the bedroom and we use it whenever we bring up our gaming laptop! I've reviewed both of those if you'd like more info but note that the latest version of the K830 DOES have Bluetooth, when I reviewed it, it didn't back then :O Appreciate you watching!
OppsBrokeIT You're right! When I first checked on the software it was greyed out and I never thought of checking to see if I could assign the left key to another button! I'll post an edit in the description, thanks for the heads up!
I know that Razer Naga Molten let you bind left click button to something else as long as you assign left click function to some other button, otherwise you could get stack and get in akward position where you could not use left click .
+Bruno Czech Yes it's true! I found out a few months after I posted the video :D It makes a lot of sense when you think of it xD Thanks for the info bud :D!!
I have the Naha chroma and I had the naga 2014 before that. I hate the mouse but love them at the same time the sensors on both of them are total crap they move when I'm playing csgo and sometimes when in game I lift the mouse it jumps down if you guys know how to fix it please let me know. I have calibrated the mouse to my pad multiple time and it doesn't help. I have also reset the mouse and it keeps doing it.
Hey bud! It's only wireless when you switch the mouse to "On" when it's on "Off" it, of course, won't work on wireless but it WILL work when hooked to the cable :D
i got this mouse and the sensetivity is too low plus the back button ontop of the mouse does not go back and forward in browsers like my old razor mouse did, how do i fix this?
I just got one and the buttons on top did out of the bux but you can customize everything using synapse 2.0. You can also change DPI for more sensitivity.
Hi! Nice vid! Is the recharging station an extra, or is it in the box? I mean, do I need to buy it separately? Also, do u have a few mouse mat recommendations for it?
That comes with it :D And it depends what mat you like! I prefer hard surface so I love my Razer Destructor 2 :D! As for soft, you have a TONNNNNN of options but i'd suggest Razer or SteelSeries :D
KixlePixel Reason i'm making these videos are because I couldn't find the info I wanted for these kind of products so that's awesome to hear! Thanks and hope you like the videos we have coming up this month :D!
I just found this mouse at a Goodwill for $3. I almost flipped out when I saw the Razer logo on the box. However it's missing the charging station and the cord. And I'm not sure because I haven't seen it in any videos yet but is it supposed to come with a dongle? Edit: Got my answer the charger IS the receiver... Dang it...
@@itcamefromabox Unfortunately no. I'm missing the charger / receiver and nobody's selling it online. At least not for this version of the Razer Naga. I could just order a cable for it but that defeats the purpose of the fact that it's supposed to be wireless.
Great review! I've been needing a wireless MMO mouse because my dogs keep getting tangled in my wired mice and break them. This was the only wireless MMO mouse I could find. I've read a lot of bad reviews(I know most people review only when there is a problem) so I'm hoping it's as good as you say it is.
Thanks buddy! I wouldn't be surprised if Razer releases a new version of this mouse soon but personally, this was our favorite MMO mouse :O Tough to play WoW without it tbh!
Can I map different keystrokes to it? Such as F5 or combinations like 'Shift F5'? Can I set up the buttons to run different scripts that I have written?
LEGnewTube Yes you can! Through the synapse software you can assign really detailed macros (hope that's what you meant by scripts) to whichever button you like on the mouse! :D Hope that answers your question!
I'm onto my third naga mouse had the green and blue light versions before finally upgrading to the epic chroma in about 2016(?). I miss the placement button of the back/forward button being to the left side of the left click button. That's about my only gripe with the last two versions of the naga. My first naga went double click after a couple of years (boo). So far zero issues with the naga chroma though. I'm a girl gamer with smaller size hands and absolutely adore the weight and feel of this mouse especially when paired with the vespula mat. The 10/11/12 buttons on the thumb pad are a bit of a pain to access but it is something that I have gotten used to over the past year or so. Overall this is a solid 9/10 mouse.
Hey man! A-BLAZE-ING review! Just a question, So your looking at the mouse sideways and the grid is in front of you, k? So go to the very front and left button in the front of the mouse it's this weird thing? What is it? I have small hands so it doesn't reach if it's a grip or not. Well, Epic review give it 10/10!
+SouthBeastGaming FTW Hey bud! So sorry for the late reply, Google+ integration made it so I couldnt reply to some videos until just this past week :\ Do you mean the grill in the far front of the mouse? And as for the buttons you should be able to get a hold of every button especially with small hands, my wife is super tiny and she always uses this mouse :D
Hey WFarmer22! The USB cable goes into your PC and the Micro USB side into the dock so if you want to go wired, you disconnect the cable from the dock and plug it into the mouse :D It looks just like any other wired mouse!
It should charge to 100% in 3hrs :D I normally put it away on the charger itself so it's always charging when not in use, if it's like most devices these days, it won't continue charging when it's at 100% unless it drops a certain percentage :D
I have Naga 2014 for years now. Never had any dirt on the bottom. Just use mouse pad and dont eat on your table. Buttons on top are not for gaming use, they are for switching profiles, however any button may be binded to anything, literally to anything, even macroses.
+MrTimSultan Hey Tim! Never thought about using those buttons for changing profiles! I normally use them for miscellaneous shortcuts :D And sadly my mice always get dirty :\ I have hard surface gaming mat's so i'm not sure if it's due to that and the desk is always clean as well ._.
It Came From A Box forefinger has to pass a huge distance to get to those buttons and leave LMB. Why would you use it in game if you have 12 buttons under your thumb? Also those 2 are good to change dpi speed.
+MrTimSultan I use the side numpad with the corresponding numbers which my muscle memory has gotten used to, since those buttons are in an awkward spot, I just used them for things that don't require a quick response :D As for profiles, all of mine are set to automatically switch by program so I've never had the need to change them manually D:
I absolutely loved this video bro! I'm thinking of getting the Logitech g502 vs this one, if u can sometime, review the g502 for me please xd. Anyways your video quality is awesome, hope your channel grows
Md Zalien Yes! At first I thought it was too small for my huge hands but it actually works out great, my wife has used it a number of times and she has tiny hands yet can access all the keys on the thumbpad :D!
+Paul Hey buddy! Not exactly sure which you're talking about but the only ones that come to mind with fast mouse wheels i'd say would be Logitech ones! They use this free-wheel scroll wheel! I know this one uses it: www.amazon.com/Logitech-Master-Wireless-Mouse-910-004337/dp/B00TZR3WRM/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1456780755&sr=8-2&keywords=logitech+mx
I had the wired one before, which was great. this ones better EXCEPT now the Razer logo doesn't light up, not sure why they would do that! A solid 9 out of 10 for me.
+Andrew Thompson I'm not sure! I'm noticing that some of their products are sort of hiding the logo, like with this mouse and the DeathStalker Chroma as well :o Maybe it's just an engineering choice?
HEy buddy! Not at all :D It's still my daily mouse and i've never suffered any delay but after a year it did jump once or twice but that was fixed after an update :]
The Naga Epic Chroma is a great mouse. My only problem with it is that they don't last very long. Buttons on the thumb grid stop working. I've owned 5 of them and the one I'm currently using will be the last I buy.
+CasterRides Hey Caster! Sorry for the late response! I do use it! It's been my main mouse since before this review actually :D I'm now hooked on the side buttons D: Can't imagine life without it ._.
thanks for your immediate response I am a gamer but also using my pc for my work... and I was looking for solutions how to utilize the technology for work optimization... now that I know it can be use for different applications then I might have interest to buy it. Thanks for your review.
+aljan inolino No problem bud :D But yeah you can definitely use it for a bunch of software as well as games so you get a ton of functionality from this peripheral :D
I actually have a Naga 2014 and after heavy usage left click died last week, it's still a wonderful mouse and was deciding between this one and the Scimitar but i still think this one is the best in the market, i use all the buttons and my hand just feels it more natural, some ppl just say ow the mouse sucks because the sensor is crappy and i have to say NO! sensor is not responding because it might have a hair stuck in the plastic and is interfering, just clean it up.
Hey Dhag! sorry for your loss ._. I'd actually suggest waiting for the next version of the Naga! :O Last week I picked up the Scimitar Pro RGB which i'm hoping to release a review of by next week if you'd like to know my thoughts on it :D But as soon as Razer announces a new version of the naga, i'll review that one as well!
Cool i'd like to see your review on the new Scimitar Pro and i was thinking of getting this one also because is 40% off and its just 77.99 usd, i there any rumors about a new Naga? should i wait or should i grab it now that it has discount, i'll consider your advice's really seriously
If you don't have anything right now, i'd say go for it! But if you can wait, i'd suggest giving it a few months :O I know we're going to see some very awesome refreshes this year and I can't wait for 'em :OOO
I love razer products but I don't have any and my family does not have enough money to buy any I tried some razer products at my friends house and and I love their products but we don't have any money
