RC PitStop 49 - ARRMA OutCast T-Bone Racing/Trackstar Upgrades
Got myself some Trackstar shocks from Hobbyking and decided to give them a go on the OutCast. And to beef it up, I also installed some T-Bone Racing bumpers to see how they hold up.

Love that rear bumper seems it will definitely help with wing mount and wheelie bar from damage and stress

Assie your going to need somithing to hold the front hinge pins. I had this problem with my Kraton v3, where installing the TBone front bumper required me to remove the original front bumper and the hinge pins slide out fairly easily. My solution was to order the old Kraton V1/V2 front bumper which doesn’t interfere the the new TBone Bumber. Dont know if this will work on the outcast, good luck mate.

I've put 3 packs through the truck so far and not issues with the hinge pins as yet. We'll see if that changes in the future.

So when you took off the stock bumper, how do you hold the front hinge pins in? The new version of this bumper is the same way...... no instructions or usable diagrams showing detailed view of it mounted to the Outcast. Kind of frustrating.

Great bench vid Vas. Definitely interested in how these shocks perform. Just did a BIG air bash test with GPM 5mm shaft Kraton shocks on my Outcast and wasn't that impressed😲. The dampening is crap, tried multiple oils, probably need different pistons/springs. Just a heads-up, you might shovel mother Earth with that Tbone. Didn't catch if it was the updated V2 Basher bumper or not. The Typhon Tbone is tits on the Outcast. Doesn't stress the diff case or block easy access to pull the front diff out. Do need to add the Arrma stock mini Kraton/Typhon bumper to lock in the hinge pins though. I've bashed the living crap out of all 4 of my Arrmas with this same set up for over a year, works perfect!!!🍻🙋🙋😲😲😲😵😎💪👊👊

Reuben Board that's great to hear brother!!!👊 I definitely don't like wasting money like I did on the Tbone "Wing bracket". It's too early for me to pass overall judgement on the GPMs. Just got frustrated trying 4 different oil weights in attempts to get 1/2 decent dampening. Are you using the stock oil and springs???🤔

Rich Duperbash yea rich i got them a week or so ago and have given them a good test out and tbh i would say they are ok. I dont jump like you do you do extreme jumps i run on bumpy ground and gravel. For that the seem fine i took my outcast down to the skate park and the shocks held up unlike the tower which bent again I need to fix that

Reuben Board LMAO!!! Props to you for hitting the skatepark you animal...Lol😲. The dampening is OK for street running and some jumps, but too bouncy for my liking over uneven, bumpy terrain. I'll keep at it and make them better soon.😎💪👊👊

Vas if you removed the factory front bumper, what are you using to retain the lower suspension pins in place? Had the same issue on new kraton and there's a few solutions on the arrma forum if you're curious.

Vas does the mud guard kraton gonna work on v1 typon and the rear and front bumper too...thanks aot now i can purchase a shock for my typhon need to change them your the man....👍🏽👍🏽💪🏽💪🏽

If you don't like the t bone front bumper, try out the rpm front bumper. My friend has it on his outcast, Kraton, & talion and loves it.

I have the same e driver from ozito and i am looking at the mip speed tips . Are they what you use ? How are they holding up for you because im sick to death of stripping screw heads . Awesome video by the way 👍
