At eight wins Norway’s Got Talent singing “Summertime”. 11. At nine publishes book based on diary entries made at six. “Between Two Harts “. Trying to describe Angelina Jordan is like trying to describe the best color change a chameleon can make itself into in an instant. Adele is great, but Angelina being a true jazz specialist, gives her an ability to convey emotions in a ballad that a non-jazz singer, no matter how great, can match. What a great reaction Omario. The most beautiful voice on this planet at age 15....simply mind boggling. These are pure Angelina vocals with no bells and whistles. The pianist is Rob Christie, 2 time Grammy award winning musician and producer, currently the head of Republic Records Studio. Rob has taken quite and interest in Angelina since she signed with Republic in 2020 and they have done a few video's together already. When asked if he was a mentor to Angelina his reply was " I think I can learn from her" or something close to that. Adele wrote and sung a beautiful song, but, Angelina just takes it to another level with her superlative vocal talent.

This is one of Angelina"s best I don't understand how a perfect vocalist can get better but here you have just that. I could listen to Angelina for many hours without getting bored at all. Adele is a great artist and songwriter but she never had similar an effect on me. Only Whitney Houston had the somewhat similar kind of effect on me but Angelina's voice and her tone has even greater effect on me. To me she is maybe the greatest female singer at the moment I can think of.

Omario, We fans are fortunate to have the pleasure of watching a very rare, talented and beautiful flower blossoming before our eyes. I applaud the working relationship between Angelia and Republic Records. IMO, their marketing strategy of slowly bring Angelina along as she is still finishing her schooling is brilliant. I think all of Angelina’s fans can agree that we love the simple, intimate and uncluttered studio performances. With Angelina, less distractions are most certainly better. The B&W videos showcasing Angelina with just a piano, guitar and or cello demonstrates to the world that a vocal talent this special and extraordinary needs no digitally enhanced assistance or massaging. Angelina sprinkled her angel dust on another wonderful Adel song and owned it.

From another reviewer, not my words, but her musical ability was described as a painter painting a picture. It inflects detail. Her artistry in music will set the Industry on its ear in the future. Artists will try doing covers of her music in the future. I wish them good luck. She is going to be a hard act to follow.

This is Angelina's best yet, imo. Her voice has grown a lot just this year. Would love for her to cover "Bridge Over Troubled Waters". Also for her to revisit "I Will Always Love You" and "The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face" both of which she covered at 11/12 years old. I tear up seeing Angelina cuddling with her grandma Mery and then she begins to sing and that beautiful soulful tone welcomes me into the song. Awesome to see Republic Records put their name on this cover. I highly suggest you react to the only other artist I actively support and that is The Warning which is a hard rock band comprised of 3 sisters from Mexico. Their latest original (and they have about 40 originals) "Disciple" is awesome.

What is so becoming is that Angelina will not be thwarted in her mission of healing for the world. I feel a part of that mission. but some say that there are no more miracles now a days, however, it may be that miracles need not be so overtly displayed as in the past. The miracle of Angelina is so much more than music.

I am no sound engineer but I believe you we're right when you said you didn't hear much echo or reverb I've seen and heard dozens and dozens of her performances and I believe that this was pretty much pure Angelina without enhancement!

You are correct - she is 15 now and will be 16 on January 10, 2022. She does play the piano, guitar, and, I have heard, the violin and flute. But not here, the pianist is 2-time Grammy winner Rob Christie, the Director of Republic Records L.A. Studio, who is taking great care of her for Republic Records (she signed with them in 2020).

Please react to her originals. "Million Miles" is a tribute to her grandfather, after he died, and the lyrics are noting akin of Adele's song. "7th Heaven" is an upbeat "modern classic" jazz music that I just can't keep out of my head after listening to it. "Shield" is a tribute to the way her family has been able to let her grow expressing herself through music without the pressure of the "industry". In fact, I believe that the "Easy on me" rendition is, for her, a statement on how she wants other people to allow her to grow. For Adele, it has a completely different meaning, which just adds to Adele's masterful songwriting. The same goes for Angelina's "Million Miles"..... It ressonates to anyone who has lost a loved one.... And since it was released in the middle of the pandemic, it was even more important, as far as I am concerned. All the best from Portugal.

She seems to like Adele, judging by her covers. Until this one, I'd have said her cover of Young And Beautiful by Lana Del Rey (another artist she seems to like) was my favorite. If you haven't heard it, I highly recommend it. But this is a masterpiece.

I thought I had responded to your question about what song she should cover, but I guess not… It's almost as hard to pick a song she should cover that she hasn't already, as to pick a favorite from the covers she has done. A _lot_ of people want her to sing Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah", but "everyone" has sung that song… I'd rather she cover something that almost no one else has covered. My latest choice along those lines would be the Beatles' "Within You Without You" (well known, of course, but not heavily covered). I have some ideas about how she could arrange it differently from the original, in a way that I don't think I've ever heard anyone do. I also think a lot of Roy Orbison songs would be great for her, but I'm not sure which one I would most want her to tackle. It's also fun to come up with songs that are totally *not* in her wheelhouse - musically, vocally, or lyrically - just to see what she would come up with. For example, since she has not demonstrated a usable whistle register, it would be interesting to see what she would do with Minnie Ripperton's "Lovin' You".

If you like stripped back, no effects, music, check out anything on her cover channel that has a thumbnail of AJ with just a guitarist, or by herself. All excellent. The big question for all who are new to the AJ rabbit hole: "Chronological, random, or a mix of both?" The mix means you go mostly Chrono, but surface once in a while to sample some fan favorites, or songs that you really like and you want to catch her (better) versions.

"Barely any" effects, yes. In her first studio recording (as-a-6-year-old), the producer overloaded FX onto her and while there wasn't a re-recording, we never heard her select that level of effects again. I think that says a lot - she probably loved hearing the FX - since most people don't like hearing 'themselves', AJ certainly learned to listen to herself and decided she preferred Herself than any effects. THANK GOODNESS.
