Give me some more album recommendations now that I'm back! (In the process of recording all the ones requested already)

The past week I have been listening this whole album non stop. On repeat. I cannot get enough, it is so touching and relatable, what an amazing artist she is!

FYI, Misty is a cover of a classic jazz standard! She always includes 1 jazz cover in her records 😁

I LOVE THIS ALBUM. Laufey is such a lyrical and musical genius, pure talent. You should react to her other album, “Everything I Know About Love.”

I absolutely love this album, I think I heard somewhere that the nostalgia that her voice brings comes a little bit from the fast vibrato which is reminiscent of the singing in old Disney movies! I would 100% recommend Conan Gray's albums (particularly Kid Krow)!

This is my current contender for favorite album of the year along with "Desire, I Want To Turn Into You". Such a beautiful album and a breath of fresh air. Truly transports me every time I listen to it. That's what I love about an album, when it's a PROJECT rather than a bunch of singles

Great video man. Loved your analysis on these tracks. For a recommendation, I would highly recommend Ants From Up There by Black Country, New Road. Favorite album from last year and it’s not really close.

At a second glance i saw this video lasting 40' instead of the usual 20' and I had to click. This album deserves nothing else

As someone who plays (real) jazz, sings and writes, I LOVE Laufey's music, especially "Falling Behind" and her version of "I wish you love." It's some of my favourite of the year, although it's not jazz. I also love jazz. It should just be noted that it's jazzy sounding pop music, which fits the asthetic of tik tok, and astetically she's playing a character to be more authentic. It works. Jazz is kind of an umbrella term to describe like 5 different types of music, and it relies more on reinterpretaion, spontaneous collaboration, innovation of harmony, rythm and melody, and is mostly in live spaces, not spotify or tik tok. Jazz is awesome. Laufey's music is mostly about what she's doing lyrically and vocally, there's no improvisation or live collaboration and is solely her singing. That's what pop is. And she does it EXTREMELY well.

You should listen to Ashe's Album "Rae"! And/or her first album "Ashlyn" :) Her first album has more strings and piano and her second album has more guitar
