this is genuinely one of my fav albums of all time. MITSKI IS SUCH A GENIUS AND TALENTED PERSON! the chorus in The Deal is LITERALLY the most haunting thing in a song I have ever heard and gives me goosebumps every time. everything is so amazing

Can't believe your channel isn't bigger! this was a really good reaction video, you always have very interesting things to say. I would recommend every single one of her albums but I think Puberty 2 and Bury me at makeout creek(my fav album of all times) are her best.

I am so glad you like When Memories Snow, I absolutely LOVE that song and I feel like so many people in reactions say they aren't that big a fan (which is valid ofc, but its nice to see someone else who enjoys it!) I like how you break down the songs sound wise, helps me understand why I like them so much lol

I would highly recommend Angel Olsen's "My Woman" as a great indie pop rock album in a similar vein to Mitski. Also "Puberty 2" and "Bury Me At Makeout Creek" are Mitski's best albums and I hope you react to either of them.

God you need to listen to her earlier work... Puberty 2 and Bury Me at Makeout Creek are easily her best. ALSO- Listen to Soundtracks for the Blind by Swans. Scary runtime but it's life changing.

Correct me if I'm wring but I think the deal is all acoustic instruments until the drums enter, which sounds like a drum machine. And the complete tonal whiplash from slow, relatively low pitched string ensemble to that is insane to me As a violin player, at some point ima just sit down and try to play along to the bits i can pick out
