REACTION - Pride of Kul Tiras (SPOILERS!) 

So that name I couldn't place? "Tandred"? I *knew* it sounded familiar. It's Tandred PROUDMOORE. Jaina's brother. He was introduced in the Warcraft RPG, but as we know, Blizz severed outside material such as the RPG from official canon, leaving all characters, locations, and events forever lost and uncertain. WELL SAFE TO SAY HE'S CANNON NOW!

that Jaina humminhg thing, the seemingly echo sound is it to imply that lady aswane and her fleet could hear it as well, as if Janina was doing a Saruman voice thing, the fellowship could hear on top of the moutanins?

Another great reaction.... Oh boy so they made Tandred cannon sweet .... Oh boy, Jaina is lord Admiral, with Katherin at her side and her Brother in command of the fleet .... the Zandalari are in for the fight of their history :D just imagine Talanji vs Jaina while the fleets duke it out.

Makes me think the pendant worked as some sort of "homing device" for the fleet to sail to its admiral, and I think Katherine would have known how it worked and studied its magics to use it, but even if she succeeded to send the message to the freed fleet, they would have never returned in time. Enter Jaina, who could use the beacon-like magics of the pendant to locate the fleet and mass teleport it back to Kul'tiras. Jaina could have stopped Ashvane another way, but this one was the most thematically appropriate as it brought all the threads presented back together.

the bois are back in home! jaina lord admiral of kultiras, that sounds fucking metal, if her previous titles weren't enough, this and "daughter of the sea" are the best. also,that lighting entrance was so fucking badass. and i like how it ended kinda like the opposite of the horde at first, we were literally captured, our hero was going to be executed for treason and things were looking really bad for the blue team while the red team recieved a hero entrance,the fleet appeared and things were looking good. then at the end, the blue team rescue jaina, they conviced kultiras that she is not really bad and then the fleet appears! and red team zul goes bersek, their king makes a deal with a loa, and a civil war occurs breaking the zeal of g'thunn.

Re the pendant, it could be the true power of House Proudmoore. That's why only a Proudmoore child and not a Proudmoore spouse can unleash its powers with the "heart of KulTiran fleet" aka the "Daughter of the Sea" tune. After all, given how many variants of the song there has been it could very well be that the original song actually doubles as an unlock key to the seal, which Daelin taught to his children masquerading as a song about the love for his children. P.s. Tandred as in Tandred Proudmoore, Jaina's only surviving brother thought to have died at sea. Originally an rpg only char declared non-canon, this just makes everything so. Much. Better!!!

Jaina's father did have elemental magic based on water and wind in Warcraft 3. So the Proudmoores are Stormsages too... well the mother might be married into the family. It doesn't surprise me that they can lead the fleet home with the focus of the pendant.

This takes place after the Siege of Boralus. You have to complete the dungeon before getting the quest with the cinematic. And yeah, the captain was Jaina's -little- big brother Tandred.

I read some comments that had me thinking, what if the tune of the Daughter of the See together with the Seal act as a spell to guide the fleet to the holder ... part of the Tidesage magic that was given to the Proudmoore family by Stormsong.... As she is humming it while concentrating and when she ends she says "there you are" as if a scrying spell finished

Shrine of the Storm is the dungeon of Stormsong Valley. And yeah, I wanted them to blow them out of the water! Ashvane disgusts me. :)

Slight plot-hole, though - if Ashvane is well aware that the punishment for treason on Kul Tiras is death, then why would she surrender?
