Chuy does great work and has good customer service. I’ve had him port a few throttle bodies and I’m planning on having him port an intake manifold and throttle body.
Uncores * Amen. I have been working on the 3.6 in my 6 speed manual Wrangler for awhile now and after doing a CAI, building a crawler exhaust, and installing a TB spacer, the tune brought it all home. PUG lower intake is next and I expect I’ll have to adjust the tune a little more.
What GM was thinking? The stuff you’re talking about in the throttlebody is extra casting That is left behind because of how everything is made. Just like some heads (not just gm) are worse than others. What GM was thinking about was making Money. Their #1 goal isn’t to squeeze every last horsepower out of every vehicle they make. Also the reason they run Coolant through the the throttle body has to do with Cold Weather. They didn’t do it just for shits and giggles. I’m sure they did plenty of testing and seen some short of improvement in cold weather.
Tyler Dirden I really don’t like moving the blade at all I’ve had a few go bad because the actuator was on its last leg and moving the blade manually can and will break them. Tony Mamo doesn’t do it neither will I lol
Why isn’t anyone on here showing any #’s after the install. We know you’re NOT getting anymore air in the valves. I’d like to see some #’s. Looks good. Hardly functional though. The rear of the throttle body is still the same size
@@EndlessWishlist well NO he doesn’t! He says this “might” be better. The back side of the TB is STILL the same. Same amount of air going in. Good for Chuy, I’m ALL for capitalism 😁 Everyone should make a $$$$$ even if it’s Misleading and deceptive. That’s Not illegal. When WE see the #’s on the dyno I can believe it. Ummmm GM does have vehicles at the track.
The guy that ported this has before and after dyno results. Same day, back to back and it picked up power. And he has thousands of reviews. But you are probably the expert.
@@EndlessWishlist I don’t doubt it gained power but how much?????? Might as well get a bored or upgraded throttle body if you’re looking for any real difference. C’mon now bud, stop trying to justify wasting time and money.
Well I'm new to your channel I also have a 5.3 silverado 05 I'm currently working on moding and rebuilding love your content all be looking for tips tricks and general info
I do have a question did you consider the jet performance throttle body and mass air flow sensor before porting the stock unit I am looking into that mod with the jet proformance programmer
