@Tackleboxandfishingpoles
@Tackleboxandfishingpoles 4 месяца назад
When my brother was murdered at work as he and his boss were closing up her business for the day on the evening of 12/21/2000, the coroner showed up(finally), leaned over the counter and declared that my brother was shot in the back of his head(even though both he & his boss were facing the armed robbers with their hands and arms raised straight up over their heads). The Detectives on scene knew that the coroner was 100% wrong and that my brother was shot directly in his heart, and after the MEDICAL Examiner finished my brother’s autopsy, the ONLY bullet wound found was in his heart, NO “back of his head wound”. I do not think highly of any coroners, I do not care who they are be they elected or non-elected.
@Tackleboxandfishingpoles

I forgot to mention that the murderers were found and arrested on 12/25/2000 and are still in prison. They pled guilty and on their Sentencing day, they were both in the courtroom together and I faced them both for my Victims Impact Statement.

@@Tackleboxandfishingpolesso sorry for such a terrible loss and for your horrible experience with the coroner. ❤️🙏🏼 It does sound like it was a medical examiner that caught the very bad original call by the coroner. The lividity proved that. They can't prove how her airway was cut off. Suggestion of smothering, the prosecutor never asked if there were fibers in her airway, would have been slam dunk. Sitting on her chest would have produced more than one small bruise marked. Only Houdini could figure this out.

Yes, a big boost for the state's case with Lindsey Blake's questioning of Dr. Marsden. "Justice for Tylee, J.J. and Tammy" has been a rallying cry for several years now. It felt like a major step was taken today toward that end. I don't see how Prior is going get a jury to doubt Dr. Marsden's reliability as a witness or convince the jury that was not murdered. If I were on the jury, my mind would be on the question, "Who stood to gain from Tammy's death?" He's sitting across the room from me.

So Chad saying he couldnt get her to see a docyor is definitely a lie. Meanwhile, Alex's phone was pinging nearby at around 10pm and again around midnight, I believe, with his phone turned off in between those times. Circumstantial, but it does seem to indicate the most likely time of death.

Excellent breakdown Peter! As a retired critical care RN who worked in a cardiopulmonary icu for 10 years, i think john prior bit off more than he could chew with this audience. Most attorneys ive seen are not extremely familiar with the depth and complexity of the human body, how it works, and what kind of information can be obtained from tissue samples, especially postmortem. This was an excellent witness and John Prior not only opened the door wide open, he held it open for Lindsey Blake to walk through while bringing the witness with her, easily sealing the prosecution's case for leaving little, if any, doubt that Chad was the person guilty of Tammy's death.

The bruises were dissected so they confirmed there was definitely bleeding into the tissue. Shortly after a bruise is caused, (within an hour or two) the body’s natural healing process releases specialized blood cells (macrophages) and other substances into the bruised tissue to ‘clean it up.’ At this time there will be signs of inflammation in the bruised tissue, which were not present at autopsy for Tammy’s bruises, therefore they could tell that she received them in close proximity to her time of death.

If she were on that softer surface, it would have been a lot harder and taken longer likely. And I agree he got caught by Garth, but she had been gone for several hours already, so weird he left her there for a bit. Or perhaps he thought Garth would have been home sooner and was just acting like it had just happened. He is so stupid.
