Hope you had a good Christmas 👌🏻 this came in handy yesterday when I removed my cats. Just waiting on sports cats to arrive. May do the RSS mounts while I’ve got all the back end off.

@TheThrottleCable 2 года назад
I did thanks Sam, hope you did also. Which cats did you go for? The RSS mounts are one of my favourite changes. Having the rear end off will make access to the nuts a little easier but equally it's no bother to do the mounts with the bumper back on if you're pushed for time. cheers!

@@TheThrottleCable yes all good over here. I also went for the top gears. I’ve got a CSR from RPM Technik so I’m hoping they’ll mate up with their back boxes 🤞🏻. Also doing an upgraded air filter plus IPD inlet and throttle body. Then I’ve tweaked my rear KWs to lower it slightly. Lucky to have it on stands at the moment so thought I would attack everything at once. 👌🏻

Great videos. Could you do a video explaining on how to adjust taco wing heights. I cant figure out how to adjust mine for years. Lol
@TheThrottleCable
@TheThrottleCable 3 года назад
It’s super easy when you know how; completely undo the rear two Hex/Allen bolts under the wing; this detaches it from the‘L’ brackets . Lift up the wing at the trailing edge; undo the locking screws on the two ‘L’ brackets (this screw is only used in position one), change position of the ‘L’ brackets to one of the other two location pins. Then put the wing back down and replace the two bolts attaching the wing back onto ‘L’ brackets. 👍

Cant the bumper be removed without pulling the tail lights? Also curious of the hood release cable under the left rear tail light. If hood is closed how can u get to that cable (with the tail light still mounted(??? . Crazy
@TheThrottleCable
@TheThrottleCable 3 года назад
Yes, the bumper can be removed without pulling the tail lights - however this can cause the rear lights to crack when you pull the bumper past them. The hood release is easy to 'fish out' from under the light - you just need to hook it out with something like a clothes hanger. Cheers

always great videos and have helped me out no end. Question for you... how do you remove the n/s rear light to get to the emergency latch release cable? thanks
@TheThrottleCable
@TheThrottleCable 3 года назад
Good question - To get the latch release cable you would 'fish it out' from underneath the light without removing the light cluster. I'm sure you know the light cluster can only be removed with the engine cover open, hence it's a good idea to check the latch release is actually in the correct place before you need it in an emergency!

@@TheThrottleCable thanks. I noticed my release cable was in my engine bay a couple of days ago. I’ll get that moved

Nice one Rob! Happy new year mate! Btw you didn't by any chance weigh that rear bumper bar did you? Just curious how much it weighs. Cheers
@TheThrottleCable
@TheThrottleCable 3 года назад
Happy New Year Alex! No I didn’t but it’s very, very light for it’s size/bulk, must be alloy. Won’t be a great deal of weight saved by removing it if that’s what you’re thinking - other consideration is that it’s the carrier for the central heat shield protecting the bumper
@samtalkscars1341
@samtalkscars1341 2 года назад
@stradman. It weights 3.8kgs complete. In the US they’re deleted quite commonly as makes more room for a GT3 “cup” bumper.

Thanks Rob. Question, what are the exhaust tips on your car (they look like the equipment). Following your recommendation, I also went with the Topgear Mild Sports (not fitted yet), but I’d like to swap the standard tips which aren’t great. Cheers.
@TheThrottleCable
@TheThrottleCable 3 года назад
Indeed, they are the Porsche Tequipment EP4110's - they are the nicest looking tips I found on my search
@a4bdeevans24
@a4bdeevans24 3 года назад
@@TheThrottleCable yes I thought so. Agreed, these are the best looking. Really hard to get hold of, unless you pay an extortionate amount. :-(

Hiya, did I spot that you have now removed your cold air induction? If so, can I ask why? Cheers

Good spot; my hose was rubbing on the fan housing attached to the Aerokit deck lid. I spoke to Time Motorsport and in response they are adapting a new house to clear the Aerokit deck lid.
