You can upgrade your brake's cooling by installing brake ducts from a 911 GT3. This trick works for the 987 Cayman and Boxster as well as (I believe) the 996 and 997 911.

I used to reside in Sarasota Florida and I got the set of these from Suncoast Porsche for my Gen. 2 Cayman S and I couldn't believe they were that inexpensive either. I had fun with the 1st side, but the 2nd went a lot smoother for me 🤓.

This is great, on spirited drives I’ve noticed some brake fade beginning to start (I have a non s Boxster so the smaller brakes) and perhaps this should help this.

Any luck with a rears that are just as “plug n play”? Seems like the forums say to use 997 turbo ducts and modify them a bit.

Actually, I'm working on a video right now about them. I installed them and ran them on-track and not only were they ineffective, the brake actually got HOTTER when they were installed. Instead of helping the airflow, it seems they actually direct airflow away from the brakes.
