There is an air/fuel mixture screw on these carbs. It's on the side between the bowl and the exit of the car that goes to the bike. It has a D shaped head and requires a special tool.

Hi Bobber, Thank you so much for the comment. A lot of the times I will get started then go into the house and make a coffee and go back out to work. One other thing, I have to have is music. I have a TV in the shop that I go to music and have it playing. I like " MILK EN BLUES". Great groupe. Another song is " BASTARD BLUES". You have to watch that one. It's like WOW! Then "FOUR NON BLONDES" with "WHAT'S GOING ON ?". Sometimes Lois brings me tea plus I get a kiss. Last April we have been married 52 years. She got the best of that deal ! HA HA. Can't say I've heard of those bands but then I'm not much of a blues person, but who doesn't like a bit of Four Non Blondes! I tend to listen to a lot of soul and funk music but it really depends on the day and mood, I wouldn't rule anything out. Today I had a bit of a Greta Van Fleet vibe going on. Sometimes my wife (Mandy) will come in with a cup of tea for me too - but without the kiss, just a reminder that she thinks the bike is my mistress and I'm spending too much time with her LOL. Congratulations on 52 years of marriage, I must admit, I never knew happiness before I got married, but by then it was too late 🤣🤣.
I watched the video where you went out for the first ride after you cleaned it up. Did it start running poorly after that? My 92 has a very slight miss but I'm not going to tear it apart just for that. She starts like she just rolled off the showroom floor so I'm happy with that. Your countryside makes me think of Arkansas or Missouri?
It ran great but I am going all over it . The clutch went out due to the master cylinder being never cleaned. Thank goodness we were only four blocks from home. Rode the rest of the way not using the clutch. I put up a video on cleaning the clutch slave cylinder. Looked like grease in it due to the brake fluid being so old. Now I am going to set the valves. I could tell the bike sat a long time. Both front and back breaks were a mess. Just rebuilt the carbs. When I ride you see the hills of Western Pennsylvania. Norman.
I've watched Parts 1, 2, and 3 of your carb rebuild segment and am thinking I need to undertake this rebuild on my 1991 ST1100. Pardon these questions if you answered them and I missed it: Where did you get your rebuild kit from? What brand is it? What year is your ST? I have looked for kits on Ebay and I see a few for years 92-96, only one complete kit for 91-94. I'm wondering, since there is an overlap between the two (92-94), whether I should take a chance on the 92-96 kit. Any thoughts? Thanks for the detailed videos! I'll be watching more.
Hi William, My bike is a 1993. I got my carb rebuild kit off E-Bay and it came from "SUPPORT@RAGINGMOTO.COM" phone 1-888-448-4655 Item Number 135119 ALL BALLS RACING CARBURETOR REBUILD KIT. One kit will have everything to rebuild all four carbs. In the kit I got four jets with springs and four washers that were not for my carbs. They put them in there so all kits will fit many different bikes. I am going by my packing list so I don't know the price. You can call them and they should get you what you need. Sorry I did not get back to you sooner. Lois and I are putting in a new Kitchen. We are doing the staining, installing and layout of what we want. When I was very young I worked for a kitchen company for a while so I know about doing it. As you do your first carbs film it so you can go back and see how you took it apart if need be. Wear safety glasses when you use carb cleaner. Hope this helps. Norman.
