not a bad video, I checked out that kit at Napa, it would have worked great! BUT, the splines we're worn, so I bought a new rag joint complete at true connections for only $28. since the steering box had to come off to remove the rag joint, I sent that out for repair also...
These rubber flexible coupler may be less trouble prone than the ujoints. It seems the ujoint steering shafts have a lot of problems with binding and rusting. The rubber ones don't have that issue and last a long time.
What is it with the Chevrolet truck guys ? i'm like the third one... on the other hand it was so cool to see an Avanti again, lit right up when i saw it ! thanks for that
david kranz yeah, was the best I could do, with the equipment of the day, and the lack of skill I had. I expect of you thought there was something in here that would keep you finish the job at 3 a.m., you could suffer through it, as I've had to do so many times.
