Rebuilding a Wrecked 1st Gen Toyota Tacoma From Copart | Part 3 

I've done a similar repair to a 2.7 liter 4cyl 5 speed 1997 Toyota 4Runner I bought from a wrecking yard. The front end was buckled in a bit because the previous owner hit a deer at 34 mph. I got it for $1,500. Luckily it didn't damage the fenders or the frame, so all I had to replace was: Water Pump, Fan, Fan Clutch, Radiator, Radiator Fan Shroud, AC condenser, Radiator Support, L+R Headlights, L+R Running Lights, L+R Blinker Housing, Bulbs, Grille Assembly, Grille Extensions, Front Bumper Reinforcement, & Bumper Assembly. Spent around $1,600 in 2021. It was the most satisfying transformation.

Very nice rebuild your definitely a all around car guy. I personally love the first generation myself. Had a beat 95 T-100 3rz 5speed I sold to a friend and currently have a 95 first year Tacoma regular cab 5 speed with 250k. Still sounds and runs good. Keep up the Tacoma first gen stuff I can’t get enough lol
