Rn im reading tower of god and my god is it hard to commit. It has 500 chapters half of one piece. The way i do it is just i ask myself do i wanna read it. If yes then i keep reading it. If someday the answer is no then i just take a break. Its easier to read longer serieses like this. Dont think abt long term commitment. Instead break it up into arcs and commit to arcs. You wont regret reading one piece. I promise

I'm so excited to read ember blade 😁 and idk of you'll see this Merphy or if someone's already said this, but I highly recommend spacing out your One Piece reviews after Water 7! I think this way you and us will get a lot more out of the reviews and discussion because a lot happens in the upcoming arcs and it's a very long saga. So instead of doing a whole saga review, having a review after each arc, ie. Thriller Bark, Sabaody etc. It's pretty intuitive when an arc ends or the OP community in your patreon/discord/youtube could definitely help too. Just a suggestion! Bc it's a really wild ride so it'll be nice to savor it!

So many things I need to read, so little time... What a great problem to have. A sweet manga that now has an anime almost to the word accurate: 'Fruits Basket.' I adore coming-of-age stories, and this has so much going for it. Family dynamics, soft love stories, adult matters talked about respectively but seriously. Few things are easy, but together we can make it through the clouds of yesterday {starts singing the theme song}. Great for teens and adults alike.

I also love pirates! Have you checked out the YA Pirate series (The main character is Blackbeard before he becomes Blackbeard) the Blackhearts? It's amazing!

Me: **Is in the middle of a really long book series and has a stupidly long TBR list** Also me: Wow all these books sound so good! I should add them to read later! I ended up adding Lies of Locke Lamora

I'll be picking up some of these books, I just wish their were some really good pirate books with huge worlds and even maybe adding a magic system to it to make it more interesting. I guess I'll just have to write one myself lol.

@@sciencystuff2106 what's dark siren mythology?

@@dominickg8326 like killer siren or mermaid because in old time people who went to the sea often refer to mermaid/siren as a killer species who want to hunt human. Ohh I would love to see that with more depth like they have a particular way of killing you. Or maybe a story where they have a culture and we can explore it not in a fairy-tale way

The beautiful book, recently released I think you’ll love reading with your little one is “Eyes that kiss in the corners.” I love seeing more diversity on children’s books that beautifully celebrate differences. I have three young foster kids we hope to adopt, who look very different to me. I try my best to help them realize the beauty in race and cultural difference. I’ll be ordering Hair Love for sure.

S.A. Chakraborty is working on a pirate fantasy right now... with middle aged protagonists set in the Indian Ocean. Very excited.

Thanks for recommendations. now i'm going to read The Ember Blade. if you love Fredrik Backman you need to check books of another swedish author Sven Nordqvist. His series Pettson and Findus is for children and i love to read them with my sons (2 and 5 years). these books are so nice and cozy.
