Caboose sounds so different in these early episodes. I love that Joel made him sound stupider and stupider as the seasons went on.

Caboose was driven insane when he had multiple AIs in his head in later seasons, and Donut was eventually given sensitivity training offscreen.

I watched season 8 and 9 but then decided to watch them from the start

Red Team: Sarge, Simmons, Grif, Donut, Lopez Blue Team: Church, Tucker, Caboose (Noobie) Donut is the one that Simmons and Grif sent to the 'store' to pick up 'headlight fluid' and 'elbow grease', but he stumbled upon Blue base, thinking it was the store, hence why he left with the flag, as Caboose believed him to be the General that Church and Tucker made up to get Caboose to go away. A bit wordy, but I hope this clears it up!
