One idea I had was for “Speed Limiter” Oni except more fun. Basically you can enter blood fury a lot more often and it drains more slowly in general, but you can’t instadown with it. Passive generation is like quadruple what it is now, maybe have no penalty on just injuring a survivor in blood fury and lower the drain rate for good measure
Lo pro grease: the canibal can now go through pallets and breakable walls without stopping his chainsaw. When this action is preformed, movement speed is decreased by 15% and all additional charges are depleted
Honestly I'd like to see more 'trade-off' meme add-ons, in a similar vein to Plague's brown prayer tablet or Legion's Never Sleep Pills. It removes a core aspect of the power but compensates with a huge utility buff elsewhere. It would also be nice if all the old meme add-ons that are straight nerfs got reworked with this idea in mind. Like my idea for the Speed Limiters would be in exchange for no instadowns you get like 30% faster revving and reduced overheat/tantrum buildup.
Knight iridecent- The Lapis Paradisus: guards no longer rotate and are always shown as summoning the Jailor. If a hunt begins, it automatically becomes the assassin. Really like the idea. Only downside is that carnifex arguably has just as much utility in chase as assassin becuase of his prolonged chase timer, so not having that would kind of suck.
Actually has some tradeoffs because you can't lock down a gen with assassin or jailer for a few seconds. Though jailer sized bubble with assassin move speed would be a little nuts, but for an Iri, makes sense
Also 9:40 has no timer on it you could take a stun from a survivor and save them for last. Then the guard just hunts them from wherever. Giving them away from any distance
Iridescent Lullaby for Huntress. Her lullaby is map wide. That's it. I always found it weird that other killers have map wide effects with certain addons; Spirit with the map-wide sound effect for phasing, Dredge with all the lockers opening when he teleports to one, Doctor with the red stain addon to an extent, Freddy with all the gens showing his clone, etc. Would make running Stealth Perks on Huntress without needing an indoor map to be viable.
My addon idea was for the Ghostface, where when someone is exposed from the stalk, hitting another survivor will add whatever % remaining on the exposed survivor to the person you hit's stalk meter up to 99%. Counters people taking hits for the guy who's exposed, plus lets you do an alternate stalk based hit and run instead of just antiheal. Plus because you have to expose someone, then find another guy in that time, it wouldn't be toooooo op even if it's strong.
You can already do that with a eurobend unless you mean like grabbing them and then holding them until you choose a location to throw which sounds kinda crazy
ever since it was introduced (and then walked back) I thought a good iri add-on for Pyramid Head would be Punishmnet of the Damned causing Torment. It was too strong a change for basekit, but as an iri add-on I think it would've been fine. Plus it would synergize well with the Seal of Metatron giving aura reading for Cages
Pyramid head should get a iridescent where if you hit someone with the range power they get tormented instantly (Edit) i know this was a buff to base kit on end transmission ptb but i still cope it will be implemented
What if reverse bear traps activated after 90 seconds regardless of whether or not a gen goes off? (maybe this timer pauses while being chased and while opening the gate) Makes it so survivors can't just 99 all the gens to pop them as soon as no one has a trap on and once all the gens are popped survivors still need to think about the traps if they want to get the 4 man escape, but if they just want to leave they won't get killed by no way out (Pause it during chase so she can't just tunnel a survivor to force it to activate, pause it on the gate so remember me isn't a death sentence)
The fact that PH'd iridescent add on is just a shittier version of a perk that is already so shitty that it is a signal that a new player is using it speaks to the disconnect the devs have with what actually works
@@kobold7964 Counterpoint: There is nothing stopping them from updating his add-ons and bring them in line with their current design philosophy. They just don't want to or consider other things of higher priority. Meanwhile, his add-ons are a big reason why I don't enjoy PHead as much as I'd like to; they're all so samey and boring.
I have learned one thing from playing dbd for 6 years and its that never expect anything creative from bhvr and when they do give you something creative love it and appreciate it because that is the last thing they will give you. Continue this cycle until the servers shut down.
Fun fact with Dweg (Dredge) you can camp a hooked survivor if you manually go into a locker. . . The lockers are only blocked in the ability. Not when you go in the locker manually
Walking into lockers is useful on dredge if you run it with dragons grip and also it lets you go into lockers near hooks since they are normally blocked
Pyramid head iri add on mutated worm flesh. His trenches can no longer be crouched thru and makes the trenches last twice as long while giving him the ability to teleport to different trenches
I'd love for Pinky Finger to be replaced with something like Glass Shards - a direct hit causes a survivor to lose a health state - if they're already injured, they go into deep wound so it wouldn't be too over powered but still effective.
3:30 I love this idea. I use ToT as a staple for my Pig games, just because actively crouching is a detriment.(Discordance, ToT, and Deadlock is my go-to build)
I had an idea for billy not sure what to name it, but basically you can press space mid-saw and get the start of saw turn rate a second time. This might be too strong with engravings so you could maybe reduce the speed gained from them when using this addon (a similar mechanic is already present in turn rate with double engravings).
I think Artist could use more fun add-ons. Most of her add-ons are fairly boring, mostly power speed tweaks or status afflictions, and her Iridescents are situational at best. For an Iridescent or maybe a purple add-on, I think maybe something like: Leap of Faith An ink painting Carmina made shortly after returning from the Death Leap. Survivors that contact an idle Dire Crow are swarmed, and the Dire Crow takes flight in cardinal directions of the Dire Crow's original orientation.
That iridescent guard horn would actually make knight really powerful for slowdown and passive injuring. The assassin would be faster than a 115% killer with 1 stack of pwyf. The Carnifex would chase almost a full minute and the flag would only come up after being chased for the full length of a standard non-add on jailer chase. And survivors that don’t know how to use windows for fake vaults or even don’t know about flags (you’d be surprised) are 100% guaranteed to be hit without a pallet. And moving 110% isn’t that bad if all you are doing is just wasting time.
they should make an iri addon for survivor flashlights that make killers naked when you flash them i think that would be awesome imagine xenomorph running amuck in the nude
12:50 Another interesting red add-on for Doctor could be to make his Illusionary doctors chase survivors and, if they score a hit, the survivor screams and their aura is shown for a few seconds. For this to seem realistic you’d also probably need to have the illusions spawn a bit farther away from survivors then they do with base kit (say, 15-25 meters distant) so that from the survivor perspective they would more often than not see the fake Doctor coming around a corner toward them. Also the ability would need to trigger chase music to further push the illusion. (Depending on how annoying it gets, the frequency the illusions appear could also be reduced.)
i made a post on dbd forums a few years ago about Demo addons so ill just copy/paste them here. "Iridescent addon idea-when using a portal, Demo instantly emerges at the portal he wants to teleport to. (so it would make his upside down world speed instant. goes through the animation of opening portal and then instantly appears at the next portal). OR upside down world speed is doubled or tripled, kinda like a better/faster version of Deer Lung. Maybe have a drawback of increasing portal cooldown." Another addon idea "After emerging from a portal, Demo crawls on all fours, keeping his profile low to the ground. (also puts his pov low to the ground) He makes no footstep noises due to being on all fours. This stance would cancel after a few seconds (maybe make the stance last as long as his undetectable lasts ie if undetectable lasts 5 secs, he would crawl on all fours for 5 secs) This stance could be cancelled by player by pushing button."
Here's an add-on I'd do for larry: -Can no longer place biopods. Direct shots now inflict slipstream onto survivors. Slipstream is removed once the Singularity teleports to the afflicted survivor. Probably would have an immunity window of like half a second so you can't just double click a survivor and tp to them. If it winds up being OP, could do something like reduced overclock time to make up for it.
That one doctor addon would be insane because people wouldn't know that you didn't have that addon until you static blast. Doctor illusions would be far more intimidating because of the add-ons existence
Iridescent mirror: The shape can stalk in teir 3, stalking in tier 3 does not gain evil. The shape can see the aura of survivor further then 30 to 15 meters away when stalking. Distance revealed is proportional to the amount they've been stalked. The shape is inflicted with the hindered status effect for a few seconds when stalking (So if Stalked more the shape can see there aura when closer)
That trickster addon could work fine if they just updated his power to be more in-line with their anti camping philosophy. Perhaps when he is realllllly close to hook (like 0-10 meters, his effective super speedy down range) he slowly throws slower and slower instead of faster, and if main event is used in that radius it drains 1.5x as fast and doesn't speed up throwing beyond its original state. Of course, this would require BHVR giving trickster anything at all besides another skin so its all moot.
you know I'd love if one patch was just adding in a handful of new experimental addons to every single killer. give a bit of love to all of them and new things to experiment with rather than waiting for full reworks or minor buffs to existing ones. more interesting to add new ones than rework old ones imo
An add on for sadako where when she would go invisible she teleports a short in the direction she is moving. This would be instead of the invisibility but would only work whilst demanifested
iridescent nurse add on: you can teleport infinitely and has no distance limitations, but you cannot move using anything other than the teleport. Still has normal recovery time and it takes longer to charge it up to go further. Should clarify i meant she has no cooldown but still 2 charges so if you miss recovery time is still a thing, and she cannot lunge unless its a teleport lunge.
I would make an iri add on that completely changes Xeno’s power. Think of this as Alien Isolation’s Xenomorph. Sevastopol’s Airlock: Tunnels can now spawn on ceilings. Crawler Mode will be disabled, and replaced with Deathly Rush. The Xenomorph will be standing upright. * The Xenomorph has to have direct line of sight on a survivor for 5 seconds, in order to activate Deathly Rush. If successful, the survivor’s location will be revealed for 60 seconds via killers instinct. * When the Xenomorph enters Deathly Rush, press and hold the power button to become incredibly fast but have a slight restriction to camera turns. * If the Xenomorph manages to land a hit on a survivor who has killer’s instinct on them, that survivor will be instantly killed even without being hooked.
I had one for Pig: Failing a Skill Check of any kind while wearing a Bear Trap or failing a Skill Check within 12 meters of another Survivor with a Bear strap starts the timer Failing Skill Checks reduces the active timer by 5 seconds Increased Death Timer by 30 seconds
In addition to the first Add-on for PyHead: When a Tormented Surv saves someone from a Cage, they Lose torment. Meaning, when the person gets freed, you could see who did it.

If everyone starts tormented, and PyHead Cages the first person he downs: when someone goes to save them, they lose the torment, and the PyHead could use that information to figure out who is where, who's on Gens, etc. I.e: 2 ppl in the hub aren't tormented, 1 injured the other healthy. I'm saying the add-on does more then what's listed. Kind-of like how Blights add-on to slow Surv when bouncing can also be used a tracking add-on if he sees that gets an extra score event when he rushes.
@@dDeckon The addon doesn't do more than what's listed. You can see that on the HUD if you play Pyramid Head right now, you don't need an addon to tell you this. It is in no way the same thing as Blight's Compound-21 or 33.
@@NanoScream Right.... BUT... IF the Person who Save someone from a Cage "Is Not" tormented... Then they can't lose something they didn't have in the First Place... IF "They Are" Tormented... THEN as part of PyHead basekit, they lose Torment... That is all I am saying... The Add-on allows a feature of PyHead Basekit to be used, that Normally is not noticed if many Survs aren't Tormented in a match. I can't make that any more simple for you to understand
@@dDeckon You're making this addon seem like some 5D chess move when it's really not. This is something someone with 10 hours on Pyramid Head can pick up on easily and understand right now with some simple thinking, which appears you are sorely lacking. Here's a tip, you don't need an addon to tell you that a Caged Survivor should be rescued by a Tormented Survivor and that the other two are possibly on gens and if the Tormented Survivor didn't go for the rescue you already know WHO didn't go for the save. And if you need this addon to tell you this basic ass information then you shouldn't be playing this game because you're clearly bad at it.
With the Iridescence VCR for Sadako. I feel like you should be able to walk through breakable walls. . . TBH I want that base kit with her. Seems like a pretty cool idea. Mabye make her a bit slower while waking through one
Honestly I would love a Ghostface add-on that gives him permanent night shroud and remove the noise that his straps make but he can't build up stock. I would love it if it was a purple but Lord knows they would make it an iridescent
I designed an iridescent add on for every killer up until the alien and the smerchant rework a while back and I thought I’d share one of them here that being for my main, Onryo: Well Cover: Projecting to a TV inflicts all survivors with 1 stack of condemn instead of 3/4 stacks, survivors can only put tapes away at active TV’s, survivors with a tape can see the aura of all possible target TV’s.
Iridescent Shattered Katana - The Spirit Is Now Silent While Phasing - The Spirit Gains a 300% Speed Bonus - All Survivors Within A 100m Range Of The Spirit Will Become Expised
I love the trickster add on- just make it so that when using main event within a certain range around the hook it drains much faster, like to the point where it's only like a couple seconds.
as a new dredge player. all he has is nightfall. if ppl can brighten their screens and hear him coming. he has nothing and it's very noticeable and a pain to play him.
3:00 if you dont mind me asking scott, what is it that would make this stealth dredge scary/fun when you think scratched mirror Myers isnt. Both would rely on popping up right infront of you to get free hits, I guess big diffrence is that dredge wouldnt need to pop out behind corners and that dredge can also chase normally?
Someone has probably said this already but change Iridescence Head on Huntress to no longer insta down but it can go through survivors. That way we can get collaterals. Also they can revert the max 1 hatchet back to 3, or even just get rid of it altogether.
Think it would be really really rad if there were more addons like blight serum, not for other killer powers, but "generic" addons that all killers can use that have minor effects of some kind. Think like, "After a hook your kicking speed is increased by "x" percent for "y" seconds". Not a perfect example but still
Clown Addon - The Good Stuff Intoxicated players stagger side to side (similar to carrying a wiggling survivor). The Clown is no longer immune to his purple bottles.
To help singularity out in general they should make the aura on slipstream (at least from a biopod) basekit. Also they should honestly rework the addons.
As a Dredge player, the Addons are actually things I really want. Dredge is SO LOUD it is impossible to sneak up on people with him, even in Nightfall. I would absolutely SHIT MYSELF if the loudest killer in the game was ENTIRELY SILENT
for a long time ive had the completely useless idea of huntress iri addon that would reduce the drop rate of thrown hatches, while making them pass through survivors and instantly down anyone hit after the first. it would be completely useless but give a fun clip for the once in a 1000 matches where it actually does something. it would ofc completely replace the current iri hatchets.
even though i generally consider exposed iris to be lazy design, i think a sadako iri that exposes survivors with full condemn would fit in her kit nicely

An iridescent addon for Singularity based on what I thought his power would be, as a kinda Blight-Huntress hybrid: HUX-A7-20 Head: While controlling a biopod, you can now manually shoot another pod with M1: If the pod hits a survivor, it will count as a normal Slipstream, teleporting you to them if infected. If the pod hits a valid surface, it will create another biopod there and immediately swap your control to it. You can no longer directly teleport to survivors with your gun.
On a tangent the comment about Dredge making a lot of noise makes me curious, would a perk that makes the killer’s sounds much quieter be useful? Survivors have a perk or two that makes them practically silent, but I don’t think there’s a similar perk for killers. Of course being silent doesn’t remove the red stain or terror radius, but if you used the perk in combination with perks or abilities that grant Undetectability or inflict Oblivious then it could be some nice synergy for killer players who like being stealthy. Mileage would probably vary by killer, Dredge might benefit from being totally silent while he’s Undetectable but someone like Ghostface who already doesn’t make much noise might not get much from it. And unless the perk included removing or reducing the radius of lullabies the killers with those (e.g. Sadako, Huntress) would still be giving a little early warning to survivors they’re in the area. And on another further tangent, a perk which delays when chase music starts could be interesting too for Undetectable killers. Sometimes the chase music triggering alerts survivors to the killer they might have overlooked.
I would have to disconnect every time I ran into that PH addon. I have a crippling phobia of veins and razor and just straight up can't handle it. I'll deadass stand still and stare at a PH before I get tormented.
I’ve been playing for a while and I hate dredge so I’d like to see no buffs unless they take away the darkening of the screen in nightfall is very unfun to go against

I had an idea for an Iri Head replacement for huntress. Hatchets that hit survivors are now persistent and remain imbedded in that survivor. Whenever you pick up a survivor you automatically retrieve any hatchets stuck in that survivor. Persistent hatchet auras are visible when needing to reload. Hatchets are capped at 5 at the begging of the trial. I just like the idea of an ad on thst stoos the gatchets disappearing the srcond they hit something. Iri head sucks currently in the hands of a good huntress it feels unfair and in the hands of a bad one it makes them yoo scared to throw hatchets. It just doesnt reward her gameplay loop at all. Why would i want an add on for a power that makes me use the power less? Also survivors gaving immediate visual feedback on ots existence without needing to sacrifice a hook state seems healthier. My partner also had a similar idea when we were tskiing about it which I liked probably more than my own: When a survivor is hit with a hatchet it persists in them and they become broken until it is removed. The remove action must be performed by another survivor. This would just leave you broken until you find someone to pull yhe hatchet out of you kind of like a snap out of it type thing with doctor.
Samurai Edge Pistol would make for some fantastic "Just Leave" moments. Teabagging inside an open gate and when suddenly the Wesker gets just that perfect angle to pick you up and take you literally as far away and into the map as possible.
