She'd already filmed Bridget Jones' Diary here, that's why Hugh and her seem so chummy, they'd already worked together as it was filmed in 2000 and she'd already lost the weight and was getting into shape for Chicago, BJD was released a few months after she won her GG.

yea..they dated from Dec 1999- Dec 2000. at one point they was rumors of an engagement but she later confirmed "there was none".

Wow. Never knew they dated. After having watched ( multiple times in a week) The Whole Wide World for the first time I have been wondering if she and D'Onofrio ever dated. That movie surely made me yearn for it!
